Chapter 9

“Welcome to Barcelona, Spain!”the attendant announced as the plane descended. Lore looked over at me with wide eyes because I hid the fact we were coming here until now. I wanted her to enjoy the moment. Not to mention, we would truly be able to know each other on this trip and figure out what we wanted to do when we got back.

I knew she had her place but I didn’t know where she wanted to live. I also knew these were conversations we could save for after the vacation.

“You did not. First, the private jet, and now this? You didn’t have to do all of this. I would have had a ball at your place or somewhere like Florida,” she said.

“Come on now.”

“I’m serious. We could have done movie nights or anything and I would have been just as appreciative. But I am excited. I’ve never been here before.”

I silently thanked God because this wasn”t my experience when it came to dating. I had only taken one other woman on a vacation and she was only concerned with being seen with me. Lore was on something else. If I had heard her correctly, she would have appreciated me the same way if we were in the house. The thought only made me want to give her everything I had access to, but I knew in my heart, she wouldn’t want it.

I reached out to hold her hand and placed a kiss against the top.

“Well, we can still do a movie night when we get home, but we are getting ready to have a time, baby,” I told her.

She smiled and then looked back out of the window as the clouds began to clear and the beautiful country came into view. This was my first time in Barcelona, too, which was why I had gone out of my way with our accommodations. I leaned back in my seat and prepared myself for all the shit I had planned.

Once the plane landed, they gave us the go. I helped her out of the plane then led her over to the blacked-out SUV. Once we slid into the back, she looked over at me with the biggest smile. That shit made my heart warm even more. The fact that I could make someone feel good made me feel the same.

We finally arrived at the W Barcelona. I’d heard many good things about this place from some of the men I played ball with. According to them, if I wanted to show my wife a good time, this was the place to go.

The driver opened the door for us, and I stepped out, offering my hand to Lore. She took it with a smile, her eyes sparkling as she took in the stunning architecture of the hotel. Hand in hand, we made our way inside, marveling at the sleek, modern design of the lobby.

As we approached the front desk, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride. I had planned every detail of this trip from the blacked-out SUV to the honeymoon suite, and I wanted everything to be perfect for Lore.

“Welcome to the W Barcelona,” the receptionist greeted us with a warm smile. “How may I assist you today?”

“We have a reservation under Lockwood,” I said, squeezing Lore’s hand. “For the honeymoon suite.”

The receptionist’s eyes widened slightly, and she nodded, typing something into her computer. “Ah, yes, Mr. and Mrs. Lockwood. We’ve been expecting you. Your suite is ready, and I’m sure you’ll find it to your liking.”

She handed us our key cards and gestured toward the elevators. “Please, follow me. I’ll show you to your suite.”

As we rode the elevator up to the top floor, Lore leaned into me, her head resting on my shoulder. “I can’t believe we’re here,” she whispered, her voice filled with excitement. “Thank you, Niko. For everything.”

I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her closer. “Anything for you,” I murmured, pressing a kiss to her temple.

The elevator doors opened, and we stepped out into a private hallway. The receptionist led us to a set of double doors and unlocked them, stepping aside to let us enter.

The moment we stepped inside the suite, Lore let out a gasp of delight. The room was stunning, with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlooked the Mediterranean Sea. A plush, king-sized bed dominated the center of the room, and a spacious living area with a couch and armchairs was off to the side.

“Oh, Niko.” Lore breathed, her eyes wide with wonder. “This is so nice. I cannot believe you did all of this.”

I grinned, feeling a sense of satisfaction at her reaction. “I’m glad you like it, babe, but this is just the beginning.”

The receptionist showed us around the suite, pointing out the various amenities and features. Once she left, Lore turned to me, a mischievous glint in her eye.

“You know,” she said, running her fingers up my chest. “I think we should christen this room properly. As a thank you for everything you’ve done.”

I raised an eyebrow, feeling a stirring of desire at her words. “Oh, really?” I asked, pulling her closer. “And how do you propose we do that?”

She grinned and leaned in, her lips brushing against my ear. “I have a few ideas,” she whispered, her voice low and seductive.

As she led me toward the bed, I knew this was just the beginning of what was sure to be an unforgettable honeymoon. With Lore by my side, I was ready to take on the world, one room at a time.

After the flight and all the work we put in the moment the receptionist left, we found ourselves knocked out. I hadn’t planned to be in the room the entire first day, but I also knew I needed to be realistic. We didn’t need to fill every moment with shit to do. This trip wasn’t just about exploring Barcelona but about exploring each other too. I wanted to know who my wife was on more than just a physical level. I wanted to know what she thought.

I looked over at Lore, who was still asleep with her hair tossed all around her body and pillow like a halo. I leaned over and kissed her temple before slowly slipping from the bed. I wanted to make sure when she woke up, I could bring a little of what she said to Barcelona. I quickly got dressed and then took the elevator down to the front desk. I made eye contact with the receptionist and she walked over.

I explained what I wanted to have done and she nodded. I immediately followed her to the front desk to pay for the options I had asked for, then rushed back upstairs. I didn’t want to not be there when she opened her eyes. I was starting to live for those moments. I hadn’t experienced many of them but I knew enough not to miss another one.

By the time I made it to the room, she was still in bed, so I slipped in behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist. The feel of her against me had me bricking up again but I knew we couldn’t get into that if I wanted to surprise her. So, I tried to think about anything other than how good she felt in my arms. It was the only thing that I knew would keep my head on straight. I wanted tonight to be special.

She started to move around, making it even more difficult. I leaned forward and placed a kiss against her neck. She smiled and pushed her ass back against me again. I knew at that moment she had to be fucking with me and she wasn’t sleeping. Hadn’t been asleep since the moment I walked through those doors.

I leaned over her again, but this time, I bit her shoulder lightly, getting a giggle and a yelp out of her.

“Mhm, I should have known you weren’t asleep. When did you wake up?” I asked.

She turned around with the covers bunched around her body.

“The moment you left this bed. Where did you go?” she asked.

“I had to run down to the front desk real quick. But are you hungry?” I asked, not wanting her to dig too deep into what I was doing.

She lifted a brow, then closed her eyes and stretched before answering. “Absolutely. I think I heard my stomach growl aloud moments before you walked back in here. What does their menu look like?”

I shrugged and got out of the bed. I jogged into the bathroom, then turned on the shower. I stripped out of my clothes and stepped back into the room with my dick on hard. I stroked it lightly as she looked up at me, then bit my lip in her direction. She sat up in bed and lifted her hair to twist it into a large bun on top of her head.

“Come get wet with me, baby, then we can eat,” I said.

I figured I could buy us a little time and satisfy this need for her that was starting to become a consistent ache. One that only her fine ass could soothe or remedy. She smiled up at me and dropped the sheet as her perky, full breasts made their appearance, making my shit get harder.

“Sounds like a plan to me,” she said as she slipped from the bed.

The moment she made it close to me, I wrapped my arms around her waist and walked backward as I kissed her. I planned to get her dirty and wet at the same time, but I was going to make sure she was straight before we left the bathroom.

I didn’t know how long we had been in this damn bathroom but I was certain that everything I planned was ready. Or at least it should be.

I told Lore to dress in something for dinner because we would be going downstairs since they had five-star restaurants here. I slipped on a pair of slacks and a nice, silk, short-sleeve shirt. Since we were on vacation, I made sure I was vacation-ready. Once I handled my hygiene and shit, I went into the living room area to give the lobby a call. They let me know I was all set and to head downstairs, then the receptionist would lead us to where we needed to be.

The moment I hung up the phone, Lore walked into the room with the most beautiful smile. She had a satin dress almost similar to the one she wore to the reception but it was in the color burgundy. Her hair fell in loose curls around her shoulders, with a pair of strappy-looking burgundy heels. This woman was beyond beautiful to me and I couldn’t get enough.

I walked over to meet her and lifted her hand to place a kiss on top, not wanting to mess up her makeup.

“You ready?” I asked.

Lore looked around as if to check for anything she might be missing. I smiled as she brought her attention back to me.

“I’m good. We will be here, anyway, so if I forgot anything, we can always come back and get it,” she said.

I nodded but I knew she wouldn’t need anything up here. So, I took her hand into mine as we walked out into the hallway, then to the elevator. I glanced down at our intertwined fingers, wondering when I had become the hand-holding type, but I knew the answer to that. The moment this woman walked into my life. It was all her, without any doubt. She was everything I could have ever imagined and more.

The ride down to the elevator was silent, yet comfortable. It was a moment where nothing needed to be said and we were okay with that. The moment we made it to the lobby, I told her to give me a second while I spoke to the receptionist. I knew she was confused now because there were tons of signs to let us know where we needed to go.

“I’m ready,” I let the receptionist know.

She nodded, then stepped around the counter, notifying the other agent of where we were headed. Once she walked over with me toward Lore, she lifted a brow in question in my direction but I just smiled. I didn’t want to give more away than I meant to already. The walk wasn’t too long before we came upon a beautiful balcony that was secluded from the rest of the guests. They had decorated the space for a couple; rose petals led to the table in the center of more rose petals.

I had them place candles on the table and the walkway. I wanted this moment to be special and I had another surprise that was taking place now. Lore turned to face me with wide, misty eyes, then she turned to face the table.

I turned around to the receptionist and let her know we were good to go. I could take it from there.
