When I’m invited to attend the premiere food truck festival, I’m sure all of my dreams are finally coming true. After years of hard work, my business is finally taking off. Only halfway there, my truck breaks down leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere as a storm rolls in.
The sky turns black, the lightning moves closer by the second, and the rain comes down in sheets when an alpha comes to my rescue. I’m beyond relieved to be taken to shelter and if all goes well, my truck will be fixed in the morning.
A night of passion later and the last thing I want to do is leave, but that’s not how it works. The food festival awaits and I need to go.
