Chapter 13 Hael

Hael

ONE WEEK LATER - HALLOWEEN NIGHT

These last few days have been a whirlwind of non-stop activity. Ever since the meeting at the Star Point venue, Daddy has been a madman, ensuring that every one of my needs is met, while stealing me away to anywhere without prying eyes to make me come. He’s a man on a mission, with no end in sight.

After attending classes as usual, I’d come home, do my coursework, and then he’d be on me until neither of us could move. For a girl who was a virgin last week, my body is sore in the most delicious ways.

Standing in one of the venue suites now, wearing just a silk robe that Daddy brought for me when we arrived, I’m still surprised he didn’t jump my bones when I stripped in front of him before slipping the luxurious material onto my body.

“Are you ready?” Piper bursts through the door with three other women, two of whom are the seamstresses I’d met a few days prior, who had measured me to within an inch of my life.

“Ready?” I ask, curious about the other young woman with Piper. “It’s a Halloween party; we have all day.”

Piper and the girl share a look that says otherwise, leaving me in the dark.

“Uh, Hael, sister of my heart, your man has arranged for this party to actually be your wedding.” The seamstresses smile and laugh as I finally notice the garment bag they’ve hung on one of the closet doors. Foolishly, I’d assumed it was a costume.

“A wedding?” The words hiss through my teeth as my heart pounds a heavy rhythm.

“This is Ella Lorde, by the way. Her husband, Theias, has been an acquaintance of our men for many years, it seems. Ella is also the one who owns 1990, the Italian joint you love so much.” Piper grins from ear to ear.

“I love that place!” I gush, while she offers a hand. “It’s nice to meet you, Ella. I may be from Vegas, but I feel like I know hardly anyone.”

“You’re in luck then, because once we knew you guys were getting married and how much you enjoyed the restaurant, we offered up catering.” Ella’s eyes wander around the room before landing on the dress now hanging from the bed. “He’s going to eat you up in that.”

Turning around to get a look at the garment, a gasp escapes me as I see the blood-red dress for the first time.

The lace appears sheer, embroidered with floral motifs and abstract beading that glistens in the light as the seamstress turns it for me to catch every angle.

The asymmetrical hem is short, starting just below one hip and cutting across the front and back to land at mid-thigh on the opposite leg.

It’s quite short, and very sexy, and I’m not at all surprised this is what Daddy chose for me.

No sleeves, no straps, sweetheart neckline. It shows more than it covers. The train is detachable, and the tiny pearl buttons only clip up to mid-back.

“We’ll be lucky to get you two through the ceremony,” Ella whispers. “Now, let’s get you ready.”

The girls spend the afternoon being pampered with me.

Our nails get done, our hair expertly styled, and the makeup is applied by a showgirl artist in town.

We’re fitted for shoes, jewelry, and lingerie, and while I had believed this was supposed to be a Halloween party, Piper assures me it was always meant to be a wedding with Halloween elements.

“Do you know if he invited my father?” I can’t meet Piper’s eyes because I already know the answer. Dad ditched dinner last weekend, so I doubt he’ll be here tonight.

“He’s here,” Piper says, but there’s something in her tone.

“But…”

She sighs, and she and Ella share another look. “He doesn’t know it’s you who’s being married. There are things your husband needs to explain to you, and I had hoped he would have by now.”

“Like what?” Whatever it is doesn’t sound good.

“You have to tell her.” Ella plants her hands on her hips.

Piper plops down on a settee. “You remember my wedding night, right? Galen was Marcus’ brother; I had no idea.

It was all a whirlwind.” I nod. That was one hell of a shocker.

But I don’t have any exes for something like that.

“Do you remember you told me that if I loved him and could see a future with him, then the rest could be talked out after?”

“It was the happiest I’d ever seen you.” I sit down next to her, while Ella takes the spot on her other side.

“Well, your father stole your mother from him.” Not what I was expecting Piper to say. “He could have been your father.”

My nose scrunches up, and I’m sure I’m making the weirdest face because Ella fights to hide a laugh. “Okay, wait…so he was in love with my mom?” The revenge he’d wanted against my father makes a sick sort of sense now. “He was with my mom.”

“Well, not technically…they were a couple, for a short time. He told Galen they’d never been intimate…in the bedroom.”

“I never loved her.” We all swivel at Daddy’s voice; he’s standing in the doorway. “Not the way I love you. I cared for her, I wanted her happy, and I thought I was in love.” Cautiously, he moves forward. “Could you all give us a minute, please?”

It’s not really posed as a question, and from the look in his eyes, he’s about to do anything necessary to prove his words are true.

But I don’t need that; I believe him. I know this man so intimately that if he were to tell me the sky was green, I’d believe every word he said because there would be a reason behind it.

Springing to my feet when he’s an arm’s reach away, I jump into his arms and shock him with a ferocious kiss. Forcing my tongue into his mouth, I can say so much more this way than words ever could.

I hold his head tight while his hands grip my bare ass under the robe, devouring my man before drawing back slightly.

“I’m yours, Daddy. Your girl, your lover, your submissive, your wife.

Nothing will change that.” I’ve never felt so powerful in my life, and it’s all because of him.

“You’re my Daddy, and I was born for you. I know that now.”

“Jesus Christ, sweet pea. Do you have any idea how hard that fucking hits me?” Giggling, my hair flutters around us as I shake my head, displacing some of the tightly pinned curls.

“What I feel for you is much more than love, more than obsession or possession. My world starts and ends with you. If you tried to run today, I’d have chased you and locked you away because you are never leaving me. Are we clear?”

Sighing, I press my lips to his again. “Yes, Daddy, I’m yours.”

“Good, now get that fucking dress on because you’re about to be tied to me for life.”

Sliding down his body, I drop the robe and stand before him in nothing but a pure-white thong, with matching garter belts on each thigh, and leaking nipples.

He groans and cups each breast before bending to latch on and suck the dripping cream into his mouth. I had no idea how erotic this could be, but Daddy has mastered the art of making me come from sucking my nipples alone, so many times. It’s addictive and dirty and has become a deep, dark craving.

A knock on the door escapes us both until my eyes open to a man clearing his throat. His face is emotionless, but his eyes are glued to where Daddy suckles from me.

“Daddy,” I whisper, and the stranger's eyes dart to mine.

For a second, I recognize longing there before his mask falls back into place. Daddy doesn’t withdraw immediately, but takes his time, licking up the cream from my breasts before dropping a kiss on my lips and turning around.

“Little brother.” He has a brother? “When did you arrive?” They shake hands and do the bro hug thing, his eyes never leaving my body.

“Just in time, it would seem, because, damn, does she look delicious.”

Being self-conscious, I bend to grab the robe and cover up.

“Touch her, and I will slit your throat. We clear?”

Why does that make my pussy so wet?

“Don’t worry, I wouldn’t dream of it. It’s quite clear she belongs to you, anyway.” He winks playfully towards me.

“Liar. Hael.” Daddy reaches for me, and I don’t hesitate to go to him. “This is my little brother, Vito. He’s come to walk you down the aisle.”

“Nice to meet you. Daddy hasn’t said a single word about you, so forgive my shock.”

Vito takes my hand and kisses the inside of my wrist, making my pulse flutter, and drawing a warning growl from my man.

“The pleasure is mine, Hael.” His eyes move back to his brother. “Daddy?” A blush flares across my cheeks; it’s habit.

“Your brother won’t tell me his name,” I tease, leaning my head on my fiancé’s chest, loving how his arm wraps around me.

“And you’re marrying him? Goddamn, bro, did you win the lottery with this one.”

Daddy’s lips press to my head. “Yes, I did. Now, let’s get out of here so she can become mine completely.”

As they leave, Piper and Ella return with sly grins on their faces.

“That was so hot.” Piper gleams, fanning her face. “I thought you were looking a little bigger. How did he make that happen? Galen would definitely be interested.”

“So would Theias,” Ella whispers.

“A pill or three,” I murmur. “You’ve both had babies; does that not do it?” My eyes flicker to their breasts, and I can see they’re both still producing.

“Well, obviously.” Piper rolls her eyes. “But once the baby-making factory is closed, I’m sure he’ll still want it.”

We share a giggle as they help me into my dress and fix my hair and makeup.

“Ready?” Ella smiles from behind me as the three of us stand in front of the large antique mirror that was hidden by an accordion divider.

“Very.”

It’s not even about learning his name anymore, it’s that I’ll finally belong to someone who loves me the way I’ve always dreamed of.

I’m first in his life, and he’s spent so much time reinforcing that fact.

Even looking back on the first texts he sent, realizing they came from a place of obsession and possession, I can see that he was trying to tell me he loved me without saying the words.

I exit the room, where Vito waits for me. “You look stunning, Hael. My brother is a fortunate man.” He sounds sad.

“You’ll find it one day, too.” I know he will. He’s a good-looking man. Tall and muscular, with dark, soul-searching eyes. His forever woman is out there as well.

“One can hope.” He smiles and offers me his arm.

“My dad is really here?” Looking at Vito, his lips tighten.

“He is.” He sounds displeased.

“You don’t like him.”

“I wanted to end the man for hurting my brother.” He grows more cautious with his words.

“Your Daddy doesn’t hurt easily, but when your mother left him for Austin, it was a dark time.

When he told me he found you, that he was going to keep you, I laughed.

The idea of him opening his heart again was inconceivable.

” We pause in the hallway leading to the ballroom, and Vito turns to look at me.

“The revenge aspect made more sense until I walked into that room and saw him feeding from you. There’s a vulnerability in such an action with guys like us.

I’ve never been envious of another man, but I am now. ”

“Thank you?” I say, and the corner of his mouth lifts in a sad smirk.

“My point is, we hate Austin. But that hate is now pushed aside because of my brother's love for you. It’s stronger than anything else in this world, and you need to feed it with everything you have because seeing how he feels about you is foreign to us. There’s no doubt in the world that you two were meant to be together.

” He’s talking in semi-circles, and yet, I understand every word.

“I love him, too, you know. I’ve never had anyone care about me the way Daddy does, and now that he’s mine, I don’t think there’s a way for me to survive without him.”

Vito grins then. “Good, because I’m counting on you to make him as happy as you possibly can.”

“Now, that I can do.”

We continue walking down the hallway, the grand oak doors opening as we approach, and Annie Lennox’s version of “I Put a Spell on You” plays.

A Halloween floral wonderland awaits us, with black, red, and orange roses scattered everywhere, and at the front of the room, a shimmering black, gauzy arch decorated in fake bats, spiders, and bones highlights the space.

I must giggle, because for as much as I love this holiday, I never could have imagined this.

“It’s perfect,” I whisper as Vito begins to walk me down the aisle and hands me over to my soon-to-be husband.
