. . .

Soon as the jet landed, I was ready to get off and head to this stupid ass villa. Goon got off the jet before me and I followed behind him, while he held the door open for me.

I shoved my purse into the backseat and then climbed in, with Skyler getting in on the other side. As much as I had been ready to get this over with, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit nervous.

We were in a different country about to commit a host of illegal things, and I was going to stay in a villa with Mogan.

Vincent Morgan?

After knowing what and how he got down with women. I knew how to protect myself, and since we flew private and with Menace’s connection, certain rules didn’t apply to us when you mentioned Menace Caselli’s name.

Skyler closed her headphones up and applied some hand cream to her hands. “My hands always get dry when I travel.”

“With the way you switched seats and went to sit next to Core… I know something else ain’t dry.”

“Capri!” she squealed and laughed.

“I’m saying… it’s clear that you like him. Very clear that he likes you… what scares you?”

“Um, the fact that he wants both me and Jeffie. I’ve never had to share a man before, and the one time I did, it wasn’t willingly. Stupid ass got caught on his own phone.” She rolled her eyes.

“I’m saying. He’s being honest about what he wants. You can either accept that or move on from it. Since getting to know my new brother, I can tell he’s the kind of man that wants what he wants.”

Skyler sighed, as she held her phone up.

Corleon: You left something behind.

Me: Did I?

Corleon: my heart.

I smiled at her. “That was so sweet, Skyler.”

“You are not helping.” She snatched her phone back and shoved it into her tote bag.

“What scares you… other than the poly stuff?”

“Estella. Jeffie doesn’t have any kids, as far as I know. Neither does Core. I’m a single mother, and bringing my daughter into something like this could be difficult.”

“Yeah… I get you.”

“As much as I’m falling for him… I have to protect not only my heart, but Estella’s heart too. What If he and Jeffie become fed up? What if she ends up being jealous? Hell, what if I end up being jealous?”

It was a tough situation to be in. While Capone and Cappadonna only wanted one woman, their wives, it had to be Corleon that had to double it. He wanted two wives, and I could tell from the way he handled both Jeffie and Skyler, that he would be a good husband to them both.

Now, personally, I couldn’t share a damn thing. I’ve done that, got the shirt, and almost had the stepson to go with it, and I can say I am delivered. All I need is one man: my Meer Cat.

A man that would slap that ring in your face to show he was married. He was proud to be my husband and wouldn’t have it any other way. As far as sharing him with another woman, I would have to up this gun in a bitch’s face before she could ever have him.

I used to think I was crazy behind Naheim, and I realized I wasn’t that crazy. Now, Behind Quameer Robert Inferno, I would kill him and whatever bitch that called herself brave enough to try Capri Inferno’s husband.

“The good thing about it, is you don’t have to rush into anything. He’s not pressuring you and realizes that you and Jeffie both need time and aren’t ready. Core is very self-aware. Feel out the vibe and go with your heart. With the way you were laid across him sleep while he was working… so cute.”

Skyler smiled. “Ugh… that man.”

“I would talk to Jeffie… you both know what he wants and clearly there are feelings there, so you both should talk. See how you both feel and get everything on the table. Communication is key with situations like this.”

“You’re right,” she agreed with me.

Hubby: You landed… see you soon. Love you, Mrs. Inferno.

I smiled.

Me: I love you too, baby.

I wasn’t surprised that he knew I landed because he tracked me all the time. When it came to my safety, he didn’t play around with me.

As we drove to the villa, I took in the beautiful view that was in front of us. The sun was starting to set, and even with the sun lowering, the turquoise water sparkled, as boats sat in the water. The lights and the buildings within the city were lit up as we made our way up into the hills.

Skyler snapped pictures out the window, and allowed her curly hair to blow within the air, as she continued to snap more pictures. We whipped around the hill a few more times before coming to an iron gate, and Skyler put her phone away and became serious.

“Anytime you don’t feel comfortable you let me know… I’ll blow a hole in a nigga behind you, Lady Inferno,” Goon said as he looked back at me.

I smiled. “Thanks, Goon.”

“Never have to thank me. The Infernos are the only family, besides my brother, that I’ve known… I’ll do whatever to protect the family.”

I held his hand and smiled. “Exactly.”

The minute we pulled through the gates, I took a deep breath and watched as we bypassed different fruit trees and a full vineyard. As the car came up the winding cobblestone drive, I cringed when I saw Morgan standing there.

He looked mighty relaxed for a man that had a mountain of dirt waiting for him back in America. He wore a pair of linen pants, and a color block linen shirt with thong sandals on.

Just the thought that I would have to stay under the same roof as him had my skin crawling. My mind was on protecting not only me, but also protecting Skyler. I saw how he was with women as young as her, and as much as we had a plan in place, I wasn’t letting nobody get hurt, not if I could help it.

The driver stopped the car, and Goon signaled that he would open the door for me. He opened the door and took my bag as I pulled my purse onto my shoulder and walked over toward Morgan who was too damn excited. His smile fell a little bit when he saw Skyler with me.

“Vincent, how are you?” I extended my hand, and he pulled me into a hug, smelling my fucking hair, as I pulled away.

“Capri, I am so glad that you are here. It seems like we are under attack, and I was worried that you would be roped into this someway.”

“So far, so good.” I faked a yawn.

“Hi, Mr. Morgan. Thank you for inviting us to your beautiful villa,” Skyler extended her hand, and he looked at it, but quickly shook her hand when I looked at him.

“Don’t mention it… I thought you would have had other accommodations.”

“Come on, Vincent. This beautiful villa and we don’t have one small room for my assistant,” I smiled tightly, and patted him on the shoulder, and he smiled, excited that I willingly touched him.

“Of course… a great friend of mine, Menace Caselli, has offered up his villa for us. We’ll be moving to the island soon,” he informed me.

“Great.”

“It’s great seeing you again, G.” He reached up and patted Goon on the shoulder. “Thank you for coming under short notice… I had to get out of there, man.”

“Yeah, you all over the news,” Goon replied.

“Crazy thing is none of the bullshit they spewing is true… I’m innocent, you know?”

Nothing about his body language screamed innocent. “Yeah… I know,” Goon replied, hating that he even had to be cordial with this nigga.

“Well, it’s late so can you show me to my room, so I can unpack and get some sleep.”

Morgan laughed. “We’re going into town tonight… the first race for the Vanducci-Cromwell is tonight…plus, we should have dinner and drinks with a view. It’s your first time in Monaco, let’s have a great time.” He clapped his hands. “Yvette, can you please show our guest to their room, while I make a few phone calls.”

A small Spanish lady dressed in a maid’s uniform walked over toward us. She smiled, as she took my purse and walked me and Skyler upstairs to show us our rooms. Skyler’s room was right across the hall from me.

“If you don’t feel right, you can sleep in my room,” I told her.

“I think I’ll be fine.... if not, you’ll hear him scream before I do,” she laughed, as she pulled her suitcase into her room.

I went into my room, locking the door behind me, tossing my bag onto the bed, and kicking my shoes off as I sat on the edge of the bed. The room I had been given was gorgeous.

Cream linens, oak wood furniture, and three huge oval shaped doors that led out to a patio, with the same view I had watched driving up the hill. You didn’t need any art in the room because the view made up for any art that you could put in here.

I pulled my suitcase onto the ottoman in front of the bed and pulled out my clothes and walked into the small closet to hang my things up, and find something to wear tonight.

“AHHHH!” I screamed and jumped back, until I realized the eyes staring back at me belonged to my husband.

He held his finger to his lips and pulled me toward him, kissing me on the lips and hugging me. “Be quiet, big mouth.”

“You fucking hid in my closet and didn’t think I would jump.”

The door busted open, and Meer fell back behind the different things hung up, and I quickly turned around. Goon had his gun out looking around the room with Morgan right behind him.

“What’s good, L…Ms. Browne,” he quickly caught himself, while he looked around the room.

“I’m alright… the… um… the gardener outside scared me,” I quickly lied, while Morgan looked at me.

“The gardener scared you?” Morgan looked at me like I was weird for being startled by the staff.

I held my chest and played into my stupid excuse. “I didn’t realize anyone else was here, so when I turned to my side, he was there working on the lawn… scared me half to death… sorry.”

Morgan’s face softened as he came closer to me. “Don’t worry about that. If you’re uncomfortable, we can move you to my side of the villa… my room, maybe?”

Ugh. Why was this man so fucking gross? Why would I ever go to his room, when I haven’t given him any inkling that I wanted to be with him, or even in his presence?

“I’m…I’m alright. Can someone fix my door, please?”

Morgan nodded. “I’ll get the maintenance to come look at the door… don’t worry about it.”

“Perfect. Thanks… I’ll get ready for our night on the town.”

He nodded, as Goon waited by the door for him to leave first. “See you in let’s say…” he looked at his gold Rolex. “Forty minutes?”

“Sounds good.”

Goon turned the knob and locked it before he closed it. “Your lock good, Ms. Browne.”

“Thanks, G.”

After he closed the door, I ran over toward it to make sure, and once I confirmed it was actually locked, I went back into the closet and jumped into Meer’s arms, shoving my tongue down his throat.

“I missed you, Meer Cat.”

He sucked on my lips. “Missed you more, Suga… you didn’t think you was laying under the same roof with that fuck nigga… I’m sleeping in this closet.”

God, I went from never knowing what a love like this one felt like, to now feeling it from my head to my toes. He held me in his arms as he kissed me all over my face.

“I need to shower and get ready… he’s taking me out into town for the Vanducci-Cromwell race.”

He kissed me once more and put me down onto the floor. “Wear these tonight, Sug.” I watched as he pulled a black YSL bag from behind some paintings that were being stored in the closet.

“Now, what were you doing shopping without me?”

He smirked before kissing my teeth. “Got to make sure my baby look good at all times, right?”

“Absolutely.”

I took the shoes out and gasped because Blair had sent me these last week. We both said we would get them, and then I forgot all about them. “Don’t even ask how I know my baby… I listen and someone told me you wanted them.”

“You called Blair?”

“Something like that?”

I was too busy slipping my feet into the heel, as the peep toe showed my freshly painted red toenail. “What you think?”

Even with my heels on, I still wasn’t taller than Meer as he looked down at my feet, drooling. “Oh, I’m hitting that before you go out tonight.” He smiled, exposing his grills in his mouth.

“Focus, Meer… we cannot.”

“Fuck all that shit, Suga… I’m getting some before I send you out there with his ass,” he slapped my ass.

I had closed the curtains, as I walked around the room figuring out what to wear. My bump was fully out there, and it was hard to really hide it. I went from having a flat as an iron board stomach, to this little belly.

Meer sat on the bed with his feet kicked up as he rolled his weed. I knew the minute he was away from me he would spark up and smoke. I missed smoking with him and just being in his presence while he blew smoke into my mouth.

After, I settled on an all-white strapless maxi dress with a small cutout under the breast. It showed the top of my stomach, but the bottom of the dress was flowy at the bottom, which concealed my stomach well. It went well with my new heels, and my purse.

I got out the shower, and quickly curled my hair and put them up in pin curls while going back out into the room. Meer looked over at me and stood up.

He walked over toward me, towering over me as I stood on my toes and pushed my lips against his. He pulled the towel off me, leaving me standing there naked in front of him.

He palmed my small belly, as he kissed me on the head, and pulled me onto the bed. I watched as he removed his gun, sat it on the night table and loosened his belt, and pulled his feet from his Prada sneakers, allowing his pants to hit the floor.

I remained on the bed with my legs open as he kissed between them, kissing my inner thighs until he made it to my love below. He placed a few kisses on her as he looked up at me.

My spine shivered feeling his beard against my pussy. His tongue teased the opening as I ran my hand through his locs and allowed him to feast. He slurped me up, holding my legs up as he flicked his tongue fast over my pearl.

It was so hard not to moan out his name and scream while he held me into place as he flicked his tongue quickly while staring me in the eyes. His cocky ass smirk turned me on and made me sick all at the same time. Why did he have to be so damn fine, and know how to eat pussy right?

As I was about to cum, he kissed my pussy and climbed between my legs, pushing himself inside of me, as I welcomed him inside of me, wrapping my arms around his neck and sucking on his tongue.

His locs and gold chain hung in my face, and tickled my nose, as I stared into his low eyes. Meer looked at me like I was everything in the world to him. How could I ever not be confident when I had a man that looked at me the way that he did?

He moved slowly as he kissed my lips softly, allowing us to have this moment between us. It wasn’t always about fucking quickly and getting it over with Meer.

Some nights, he got in between my legs and just wanted to be inside of me as he kissed and sucked all over my lips and neck. This man wanted to be inside my skin, that was how much he loved and cherished me.

Trust, if there was a way for me to be inside of his, I would have already been inside of it. “I love you, Suga,” he whispered in my ear, as he pushed all the way into me, filling me up.

“L…Love you, too, Meer Cat,” I kissed his burns, as he continued to stroke me so good that I had tears in my eyes.

In and out.

Moving his hips to an imaginary slow R&B beat, as my legs remained wrapped around him. I licked his face, as he smirked and kissed every part of my face before I got hold of his tongue.

Flipping us over, I got on top, easing down slowly on him, and rotated my hips while I held his chest, and bounced up and down on him. My curls were sure going to drop from the sweat I was accumulating.

Meer held both my ass cheeks as I pounced up and down on him. He watched me intensely as my breast bounced against my chest, and smiled to himself watching me do all the work.

As much as he got down, I loved when I could please him and be in control. Meer leaned up, pulling me into him as he bit down on my nipples, and I let out a loud moan.

“Be quiet for me, Sug… alright?” he whispered, as he covered my mouth with his as he took both my hips and slammed me down on his dick.

He continued to suck on my lips as he fucked the hell out of me, and I scratched his back. “Everything all good in there, Capri?” I heard Morgan’s voice.

How the fuck did he hear that when his room was on the other side of the villa? “Tell that fucking weirdo you good… you hear me,” Meer whispered in my ear, slamming me harder on him.

I took a deep breath and tried to fix my tone, and I wasn’t sure that I could. “Capri, do I need to get G to open the door?”

“I’m…I’m fine, Vincent… I… ummm… I burned my hand with the curling iron,” I lied while Meer covered my mouth with his as he continued going on like Morgan wasn’t outside the door probably listening intensely.

“Oh okay. Do you need more time? I would feel better if you opened the door… you sure you’re alright?”

My breast bounced so damn hard against my chest from how hard Meer was going. I could tell Morgan being outside that door and asking to see me added to how hard he was going.

“I’m not dressed, Vincent. I can…P…. Promise that I am alright,” I stammered, as Meer bit my neck and sucked on it.

“Tell that bitch to leave now, Mrs. Inferno… tell ‘em.” He slammed me back down on him and I came, while holding onto his neck.

“I’m good, Vincent, give me like twenty more minutes.”

“Um, alrighty… I’ll be back to check on you.”

Soon as I heard his feet against the wooden floors, Meer flipped me onto my back and held my leg up as he continued to stroke me slowly. “I’m gonna put a fucking hot one in his head before time if he don’t stop trying to come in here and see you, Sug.”

“This is only for you, Mr. Inferno… only you, baby,” I kissed his hand, as I looked up into his eyes, and I felt his body jerk, as he emptied himself inside of me.

Had I not been pregnant, I probably would have been with the amount he emptied inside of me.

We sped back down the hills down into the city in a Corvette ZR1. I held onto anything that I could get my hands on as we went down the winding hills. Morgan was living his best life as he puffed on a damn cigar and whipped the car.

I guess, considering he was going to die, he should have had him a good smoke and joy ride. I knew if Meer was here, he would have lost his shit for him smoking around me.

With the window down, I was doing a good job at not inhaling as much smoke. When we pulled into the city, he whipped into a spot right in front of Hotel De Paris Monte Carlo.

Valet rushed to our sides to help us out of the car. I walked around the car and Morgan was all too fucking thrilled to have me on his arm. Especially because all eyes were on us as we walked up the steps into the hotel.

Everybody was here at this hotel. All I saw were Black men dressed in their polo shirts, ankle length chinos and some type of casual designer shoe. The grills, tattoos, and the smell of weed reminded me that I was safe. Nine times out of ten, half of these men I walked past knew my brothers, husband, or brother-in-law.

A few nodded at me as I walked by holding onto Morgan’s arms. If I looked too fast, I wouldn’t have been able to spot Quasim sitting at the bar. He nodded, and then when Blair turned around, I nearly passed out. She winked at me, as she took a sip of Quasim’s drink.

“Look at how stunning you are. All eyes are on you tonight… not on me. I’m just the lucky smuck that gets to accompany you.”

I smiled. “Dirty little smuck, huh?”

He snorted and seemed turned on by my comment. “Ms. Browne don’t start something you can’t finish. Let’s get some drinks into us… shall we?”

“I don’t drink anymore,” I quickly informed him.

Menace was making his way over toward us in a pair of dress slacks and short sleeve linen button up that was tucked into his dress pants. His gold wired frames matched the gold around his neck and in his mouth.

“How you doing, Vincent? We been treating you good?” He looked over at me. “Ms. Browne, I’m glad to see you made it safely.”

“Thank you for allowing me and my assistant to stay at your home. It’s beautiful, you should be proud.”

“Anything for my most important client. I hate to be this kind of muthafucka, but let me pull you to talk about some business… you don’t mind, right?”

“Not at all. I’m going to grab some water from the bar.”

Morgan didn’t want to let go of me. “Is this that important?”

With the way Menace dropped that hospitality act, Morgan better had gone with his ass. “Anything I fucking say is important.”

Morgan gave me an unnecessary ass hug before going with Menace. I spotted Jeffie, and she roped her arm into mine. “Menace is going to keep him away for a little bit… I can see how sick he makes you,” she walked with me over toward the roulette table, placed a bet and turned her attention to me.

“He’s not even discreet with his actions.” I shivered, as Jeffie continued to play while paying me attention.

“I texted Skyler to make sure she keep an eye out, but Core told me that he’s gonna stay in her room… like your husband.”

I smiled. “And how does that make you feel?”

I was so invested in this little three-way that I needed to know pieces from both of them. With all the drama that was going on, I needed a little bit of drama of someone else’s to keep me going.

“I want to make sure she’s protected. We all know how Morgan gets down… what are you not asking me?” she pushed her loose loc behind her ear.

“Well, how do you feel about it? Core has made it clear, well, that’s at least what I’m hearing.”

“Core wants two wives, and there’s nothing wrong with it. Only if he has two women who want those same things.”

“You don’t want those same things?”

“It’s not that… I worry about him having time for us both. I know Core, and his business is very important. It pulls him away for days at a time in his office. How can he show love and affection to two women? Especially when one has a daughter.”

“How do you know she has a daughter?”

“I found out when we had a meeting at Menace’s house before coming here. She’s beautiful, and I never want to involve that baby into this, and it doesn’t work out.”

“What if it does, Jeffie. What if this ends up being something beautiful, you know?”

“Skyler is young.”

“And you are?”

“Twenty-nine.”

“The balance of young and old isn’t always bad. I’m not here to convince you to do it, but you and Skyler both have the same reservations. All it takes is to have a conversation with the man in the middle of this.”

She looked past me and Core was walking over with Skyler, pulling her behind him. “Speaking of the man,” she muttered, biting down on her bottom lip as she called out another bet.

Core kissed me on the forehead. “What up, sis’? Can’t be over here long, checking in on you.”

“I’m good, and you?”

“Never better,” he kissed Jeffie on the cheek.

Skyler held onto his arm, as he pulled Jeffie with him. “Well, alright… just steal my friend away… Jeffie stand up…stand on business.”

She allowed him to pull both of them behind him. “I can’t,” she mouthed as she and Skyler both laughed with each other.

Even with them both being scared of what could be, I didn’t have a bad feeling about it. Core was confident and I felt like he could lead with two women. It wasn’t for everybody, but if this was the life he chose, then I was going to support him.

I walked over toward the bar, and peeped Blair’s matching pair of shoes. She wore this blush slip dress with her back out, and long thin earrings that stopped at her shoulders.

Her hair was curled and looked so cute on her. I could tell she was having a good time, and from the way her leg was crossed, and Sim had his hand around her ankle, they both were having a good time.

Sim was dressed in an all-black button up shirt, black dress pants and a pair of Prada loafers. He wore a pair of gold rimmed Celine glasses, and gold jewelry.

“What in the hell are you doing here?” I ordered a water and stood between them both.

“Your hubby told me to come… said it would ease your nerves and after the mission is completed, we can fly to another country and yacht.”

“He didn’t tell me that.”

“I just told her that… Chatty Patty,” Sim smirked, and reached over and kissed me on the head. “How you feeling?”

“Thankful that Menace whisked his ass away. Meer was in my damn closet when I arrived.”

“Why you surprised? Blaze going to always come hard behind you, Pri.”

I laughed. “I guess I need to stop being surprised, because the man is like a damn cat… so stealth and quiet.”

“You got the shoes, I see.”

“You told him… good looking out for me.” I twirled in my heels, as she wiggled her foot in hers, and Quasim looked like he wanted to take a bite out of her.

While Blair was smiling and laughing, she didn’t even notice how this man was staring at her. How much he wanted and desired her. It took him a while to show this, and as much as I wanted to hype it up, I was allowing them to move on their own.

“I guess I can tell you both… I have three more treatments before my chemo is completed.” Blair clapped her hands.

She was always in a good mood, but her mood was out of this world, and I first took it as her being in Monaco, and with Quasim. Now, I understood why she was so damn excited and happy.

Tears fell down my face as I did a little shimmy before hugging her. “Blair, I knew this day was coming… I fucking knew it.” I kissed and hugged her tightly.

Blair even started crying while patting her face. “Felt like I would never hear those words… I fought so damn hard… so hard.”

“I know, baby,” Sim said, and she looked over at him, as he stood up, taking her face into his hand and kissing her lips, shoving his entire tongue down her damn throat.

Blair’s hands found their way around his neck, as she passionately kissed him back. I pushed my loose strand behind my ear, as I watched the both of them, feeling like the third damn wheel.

Sim pulled away gently, sealing their kiss with another kiss, before sitting back in his seat. I think when he kissed her, he took her damn breath away.

“Um, well, shit… go, Sim!” I laughed, and he joined in as he waved for the bartender to bring champagne and apple juice for me.

Blair started to fan herself as she looked him directly in the eyes. He never broke eye contact, as he stared straight into her eyes. “I told you that you got this.”

“You did,” she smiled, and looked down at her feet, and Sim pulled her face back up.

“No looking down… you hear me?”

“Yes, Quasimmy.” She smiled.

Star came running over toward me and we started hugging. “You riding with me in the race?”

“You riding in that?”

Star wore a black strapless dress that hugged her curves with a high split, and a pair of strappy heels. She had on a diamond choker that I knew cost a fortune.

“Girl, yeah… I’m not changing… Karter told me you arrived. They got Morgan in the back room talking about useless shit.” Star laughed.

“Didn’t he bid on the race though?”

She shrugged. “My husband will make him change his mind… ride with me.”

“I’m pregnant, Star.”

She clapped her hands excited and hugged me. “Now, I was gonna say something but figured that new marriage weight was getting you like it got me… Congratulations to you and Quameer. Where is he?” she looked around before walking over toward Sim. “Hey Quasim,” she hugged him.

“He’s around,” Sim replied.

Knowing Meer, he was somewhere real close and hidden keeping an eye on me. “If Morgan doesn’t mind, I’ll ride with you.”

She waved me mentioning Morgan off. “Wait, he’s coming over this way.”

Star shifted us away from Sim and Blair, and we pretended like we had just met each other. “I see you met the Star of the show.” He chuckled at his own joke while Star rolled her eyes.

“I did… I would love to be the one to drive in the race. You’re going to have a ball.” I pretended to sulk, while sipping my water.

“It’s alright. There’s always next year… are you ready, Vincent?”

I could tell Morgan was weighing his options and trying to see what would earn him more cool points. He pulled his phone out and then looked at me. “You know what, you should ride with her… there’s always next year, and the drink I had isn’t sitting right for the fast speeds.”

“Seriously? Thank you so much,” I hugged him and felt his hand quickly wrap around my waist, and I backed up.

“Sweetie, let’s go ahead so we can get ready for the race… Morgan, I’m sure my husband will show you to the roof top, where you can see the race… everyone should be heading up there.”

As she said it, Sim walked by with Blair’s hand in his, as he walked through the crowd, people parting for him. Just because we were in a different country, that didn’t mean that these same men didn’t know how it went.

They knew Quasim Inferno.

Morgan looked down at his phone again. “I’ll be up on the roof watching you, Love.”

Even him using ‘Love’ pissed me off because I wasn’t his love. I’m Meer’s love. “Cool.”

Star took my hand as we made our way through the hotel until we were in the back. Since the hotel was in casino square, the tracks were still down from the F1 races. I don’t know how the Vanducci-Cromwell’s convinced them to allow races.

“This is a light race tonight… you comfortable coming along?”

“Yeah. I trust you and have driven with you in a race… we gonna kill that nigga. Who you racing?”

Star laughed. “Lennox.”

I stopped and looked at her. “Your brother.”

She shrugged. “We never race anymore, and he always talks shit, so I gotta at least try to beat him.”

“Star-Baby, you ready?” A darkskin older man that resembled the rapper from Wu-Tang, Raekwon, came over toward his daughter.

I had never met Rahmeek Vanducci. I’ve only heard about the name and the influence behind the name.

“As ready as I’m going to be… you know how Lennox is.”

“I know my kids. Lennox is trying to get in your head… this shit in you, Star-Baby. Stop letting him get inside your head and dust him.”

“Real foul, Pops,” Lennox swaggered, a darkskin younger version of his father came walking out from the hotel.

“How you doing, Mrs. Inferno?” He extended his hand, and I shook his hand.

It was funny how people I didn’t even know, knew who I was because of my brothers and now my husband. “Don’t go easy on her now… Give her that smoke. Star, show ‘em how you do it, Mrs. Cromwell.”

She smiled at her father as he kissed both her cheeks, and then turned toward me. “Lady Inferno, what an honor to be in your presence… I just saw Quasim and another Lady Inferno… perhaps,” he raised his eyebrow and pulled me into a hug.

“If you let me tell it… we gotta let them write their own story. Nice to meet you, Rahmeek.”

He smiled at me, and then turned his attention to his daughter. “One lap… fair, and even when racing you look out for your sister if danger is near.”

Lennox nodded. “Of course.”

Lennox walked over toward a McLaren P1, as his father stood back watching both his children. If I had to guess who his favorite was, it was his baby girl.

“You ready?”

“Come on… let’s get it,” we slapped hands as she hit the locks to a Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 in a blush pink.

“Karter got this for me.” She smiled, just as her husband came walking out the back of the hotel.

He walked over toward her, kissing her on the lips and looking down in her eyes. “Kill this nigga, baby… you got this shit, Mrs. Cromwell. Get out your head and remember that me and the babies gonna be watching. Show ‘em that Mommy got this shit in the bag.”

We looked up and on the patio before the roof top, there was a little toddler boy, and a woman that resembled Star holding a baby girl who was waving at her.

Star kissed her hand and threw it and the little boy caught it and put it to his cheek. “Love you, Mommy!” he yelled.

“Love you more, KC!” she yelled back, and then looked at her husband, feeling more confident.

“Get ‘em, baby… You got this shit. I love you.”

“Love you more.” She kissed his lips, and he held the door open for her, while Lennox opened my door for me, and I slipped into the seat.

She blew a kiss at her husband, and then whipped down to where the starting for the race would be.

“I don’t know how you don’t want to cry right now… seeing your babies.” I laughed, as she whipped around the hotel, and pulled in next to her brother.

In the front of the hotel, I saw my husband sitting with his blunt hanging from his lips. He kissed his two fingers, giving me the okay that he was fine with it.

Core, Aimee, Jeffie, and Skyler stood next to him as I rolled my window further down and ran my hand through my curls.

Skye walked in the middle of the cars, and then walked over to Star. “This shit not on you, it’s in you… handle his ass.”

“Thank you, Skye… Love you.”

“Forever and always.” She walked back in the middle and started to wave the flag. Meer saluted me as Lennox took off and Star remained. Flipping down her visor, she kissed the picture and then she followed behind her brother.

I held onto the door, as I watched her bite down on her bottom lip as we flew around the city of Monte Carlo, as everyone watched. She hit the corner with ease, switching the gears, while looking out the mirrors. We caught up to her brother, and they both swerved switching spots, as they turned another corner.

Lennox wasn’t letting up on his sister and wasn’t giving her this win without a fight. We flew past the harbor and the yachts that sat in the water with their lights seemed like a blur with how fast we were going.

Star bit down on her bottom lip harder, as she switched gears and blew past her brother. We headed into the city and all the people stood on the side watching the cars speed by them as I closed my eyes, and my hair flew in the wind.

The way Star whipped this car with ease in a fucking evening gown showed me that moms could still get down. She tore this track up while her brother fought to get in front of her. Each time he tried to get around, she would move her car in front of him, preventing him from getting in front of her. I watched, as she continued to whip this shit around, and I could tell from the way her brother was trying to get ahead, he was pissed because she was toying with him.

As we were getting closer to the finish line, she stopped messing with him and moved to one side, and as Lennox thought he was gonna blow past her, she hit her gas, and we went faster. I felt like we were in a damn rocket ship with how fast we flew through the city past the hotels, casino, and restaurants.

Soon as I closed and opened my eyes, I saw the hotel in our view, and Skye waved the flag as Star flew past, zipping around the fountain and hitting her brakes, causing us to slow down on the other side of the hotel.

“Bitchhhh!” we slapped hands, as I danced in my seat. “You fucking did that shit, Star. That shit in you! Don’t doubt your talent, Mama!” I was so damn excited and hype for her.

She took a deep breath and smiled, climbing out the car and looking up at her babies waving and jumping up and down. She kissed her hands, as tears fell down her face.

I walked around the car and hugged her. “Thank you, Capri. When you become a mother you lose a piece of the old you, and spend most of the time trying to get it back. I needed this for more than one reason.”

“And you did that shit… look at your son… fucking proud.” She turned to look at her husband, walking over toward us.

I knew that look. It was that look of being proud, and I could see it all in Karter’s eyes as he made his way to us. Lennox pulled up beside us, and hopped out.

“Mrs. Cromwell, good race.”

“Thanks.”

Lennox came over and hugged his little sister. “I didn’t let you win… you really dusted me, Star… don’t second guess you, alright?”

She looked up into her brother’s eyes and smirked. “So, you got beat by your little sister?”

“For sure… now smoke that other muthafucka in a few days. Just like that, Star-Baby.”

Karter grabbed her up, kissing her and congratulating her. With the way they were carrying on, Star was gonna be having another one. Lennox extended his arm, and walked me back over to the hotel where Meer was still chilling.

I could tell he wanted to get up and grab me up, and couldn’t because Morgan was there. “Thank you for treating my date wonderfully. Did you have a great time, Love?”

Core stood in front of Meer because he was ready to jump down and fuck Morgan up when his hand landed on my ass. Lennox peeped the look, and moved me away.

“We always have medical look over the drivers and riders after the race… give us a few so she can get checked out.” I could tell he was lying, but I clung onto him as he brought me inside.

When I turned around, my husband was gone from where he was posted up.

Cappy: We leaving tonight.

Me: Safe flight.

Cappadonna’s message came on time. It was time to wrap Morgan up, so we could move the fuck on. Until then, I had a few more days to pretend with this nigga.
