Antonio
V ivienne is like a ghost, haunting me even in this moment.
Hard as I try, it’s a losing fight trying not to think of her. She’s like an itch etched beneath my skin, driving me insane in the most intoxicating way possible.
I close my eyes, trying to push her out, but the memory of her laughter and the way her emerald-green eyes spark with mischief keeps resurfacing.
I force myself to focus on the woman kneeling in front of me and sucking my cock, but every time I do, I’m reminded of the curve of Vivienne's smile—the way it lights up her entire face.
And her delicate body pressed against mine.
The way the swell of her breasts heaves when she breaths, her curvy hips and heart-shaped ass. That girl is a fucking goddess, I swear. She’s not the type of woman anyone can easily forget.
No. She’s the type of woman who leaves footprints wherever she goes.
She has a mouth that is too smart for her, and she’s so fierce. No woman has ever challenged me the way she did last night.
I could see the fear in her eyes. Despite that, she managed to hold her own against me even in the face of death.
I have a feeling she’s about to become the object of my obsession, and I plan to put her to good use.
The woman in front of me starts to pump, licking the tip of my cock like it’s a blowpop. Nothing she does moves me the way thinking of Vivienne does, so I close my eyes and pretend it’s Vivienne kneeling in front of me.
I imagine her taking me in so deep that I can feel the back of her throat and her small hands wrapped around my cock.
Fuck, thinking of it is ecstasy. I want her so bad.
With each stroke, I lose himself deeper in the thought of her—her soft skin against mine, her voice, filled with that intoxicating mix of sass and kindness.
I can almost feel her warmth enveloping me, igniting something primal and raw. It’s nothing like I’ve ever felt before.
But just as I’m about to lose myself completely, the door swings open with a loud creak. Lorenzo, Luca, and Dario enter, their boisterous laughter shattering the fragile moment like glass.
I groan in annoyance, and the woman scrambles for pieces of her clothing, flushing in embarrassment. She’s a stripper I met at the club last week. Our first sex was good, the second even better.
But it’s not been the same since I met Vivienne. I don’t want anyone else but her.
“What the hell?” l growl, irritation clawing at me as I snap my eyes open. I quickly push away the image of Vivienne from my thoughts and glower at the three guys. “Have you guys ever heard about the thing called knocking and waiting for permission to come in? You should try it.”
Lorenzo raises an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. “Didn’t mean to interrupt your... private time , Nio.”
“Yeah, really,” Dario chimes in, laughter bubbling in his throat. “What were you thinking? You’re usually more discreet. Imagine I walked in with my wife?”
“Enough!” I bark, heating up with embarrassment as I tuck my cock inside my pants. “Sick bastards.”
The woman, now fully dressed, casts a wary glance at me before slipping out of the room. The door clicks shut behind her, leaving me alone with these three assholes and the frustration simmering just beneath the surface.
I let out a frustrated sigh. I’d been so close to getting the release I’d been wanting for so long.
“He’s been acting strange ever since he met the Cole girl,” Luca says. “If I didn’t know better, I’d say she has something on him.”
“Sounds like an obsession to me,” Lorenzo jokes. “Who’d have thought a day like this would come? The almighty Antonio Mancini, obsessed with a woman.
“Let’s just get to business,” I snaps, trying to redirect the conversation. “We have more important things to discuss than my personal life. What do you want?”
Dario grabs one of the mesh chairs across from mine and sits on it. “How did your meeting with Peter go?”
I groan at the mention of that asshole’s name. “He refused to give out anything useful. The old fucker said he didn’t have a clue who was responsible, but I have an idea on how to make him talk.”
Lorenzo settles on the chair next to Dario while Luca keeps standing. “How? Kidnapping his daughter?”
I nod. “It’s the only way. Knowing that asshole, he’s probably thinking of a way to get rid of me.”
“He’ll need to ally himself with someone powerful to do so,” Luca says. “And we know the only way he can truly do that is by giving away one of his daughters. It sure as hell won’t be the youngest.”
“I know.” I’d given it a lot of thought and there was one simple solution to that. “It won’t happen.”
“You intend to stop the marriage?” Dario asks.
“I do.” But I don’t tell him it’s not just because of my revenge. I can’t bear the thought of someone touching Vivienne despite my hate for her and her father. She has to be mine so I can torment and break her however I like.
No one else can have her before I do, and even after that.
I grit my teeth so hard my jaw aches.
I thought Peter was an asshole, but it turns out he’s worse than that. The asshole is willing to marry off his daughter to someone three times her age just to keep himself safe.
Sure, I’d expected him to do something stupid out of desperation, but I’d tried to hold on to the hope that he would love his daughters enough to not do something idiotic.
Turns out I’m the stupid one for thinking that.
Luca and Lorenzo just came home after a long day of secretly following Peter around the city to find out what he is up to. Safe to say they did not come bearing good news.
“You’ve been pacing the entire house ever since we got back,” Luca says, his eyes following my every movement. “You have to calm down; it’s just a wedding.”
“Don’t fucking tell me what to do. Do you think all I care about is Vivienne getting married? It’ll be harder to get a confession out of him if he has a powerful ally backing him up.” I stop pacing and shift my weight to one leg. “Dante is lying cold on the floor, and that bastard is more concerned about marrying off his daughter to that old geezer.”
“If he’s willing to go that far, then whoever is behind Dante’s death must be someone powerful,” Lorenzo says. “He fears that person more than he fears you.”
“Underestimating me will be his ruin.” I sit down, but my feet relentlessly tap the floor. I’m restless as fuck. “When is the wedding?”
“They haven’t fixed a date yet,” Luca answers. “But the proposal dinner is next week Friday. The wedding should be soon after.”
“Next week Friday,” I echo. It’s Saturday, so that will be less than a week from today. Peter’s really in a hurry to secure this new alliance. Unfortunately for him, I’ll make sure it doesn’t go through. “Did you find out where he plans to host the engagement party?”
Luca bobs his head. “I’ll email the address over to you.”
“We have to get the men ready. We make our move next Friday,” I say. “We’re taking the bride with us.”
Luca and Lorenza exchange a stunned look. “The bride?” Lorenzo asks.
“Do you have a better idea on how to stop the alliance?” I return. “Should we just walk in and shoot everyone? It’s quicker if you ask me.”
Luca rests back in his chair. “What are we going to do with her?”
“We’ll hold her hostage. If Peter wants his daughter back, he’ll have to give us the information we need.”
Lorenzo scratches the back of his head, clearly not comfortable with this insane plan of mine. “And if he insists on not saying a thing?”
Peter is a narcissistic asshole, but I doubt he’ll gamble with his daughter’s life. Men like him are usually possessive over what they feel is their property.
“Let’s hope he doesn’t because I’ll be forced to kill her.” My head is a mess, so I walk to the wine bar in the corner of the living room and grab a bottle of tequila with a shot glass.
I return to my seat and pour myself a shot. I drink in, wincing as the drink trails down my throat and settles in my stomach, as if I just swallowed a hot piece of metal.
“Mariana won’t like this idea,” Lorenzo points out. “You know how she feels about holding women hostage.”
“She won’t know unless either of you runs your mouths,” I tell him. I promised her I would get revenge for Dante. What I didn’t promise her, though, was that I would seek the revenge in a holy way.
Revenge is messy; she knows that much. And honestly, all she needs to know is the basics, not the details.
I have a plan, and it's going to be perfect if my men follow my instructions. “We need to make sure we can get out of there without a hitch. You all know what to do. Lorenzo, you'll take care of the security and get the place scouted. Luca, you'll help with the arrangements. I want this to be seamless. No mistakes.”
My gaze drifts off as I think about my Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C, just in case. This is not going to be easy, but it will be worth it. I can feel the heat of revenge burning within me, fueling my every move.
“Peter will be expecting you at the wedding,” Luca says. “What do we do if he already made plans of his own?”
“Have some of our men keep an eye on him. Bug his car, his office. Do whatever needs to be done.”
I fill my glass again and drown another shot of tequila. My lips curl with a smug smile as I think of Vivienne. I can imagine how shocked she’ll be when I ruin her little wedding. I can’t wait to see the way she’ll glare at me with those big, beautiful eyes. The fierceness and defiance I’ll find in them.
I hope she enjoys whatever time she has now, because her life will change forever in a couple of days.
