Across Town…

“Fuck, Yetti! Right there!” Mauri was in her best dropped back position taking back shots from her husband. They had the best sex after she came home from a mission.

The couple had been married for a while now. With a seven- and four-year-old, their life was busy. Yetti still ran his family’s firearm businesses legitimately and underground.

He smacked her ass. “Throw that shit back, Mauri! Don’t get lazy on me.”

She loved his shit-talking. On the nights that she had missions, he would wait up for her until she got home. He often worried about her safety in her profession, but he knew that she had the best and most dangerous people behind her. Yetti was included in that number along with his brother War.

Mauri shook her head because she knew this would be his end. She started to round and throw her ass back just as requested. She glanced over her shoulder. “You quiet back there, my love. I’m giving you what you want. You sure you can take it?”

He couldn’t respond because he had to concentrate on not nutting before he intended to. He told Mauri a few times that she could teach a kegel class because the tightness of her pussy was unrealistic. “Fuck, baby! Loosen that puss— Fuck!”

Just that fast, his little man mans sprayed into her canal. Mauri could do nothing but laugh at her winded husband. Once he pulled out, he rolled over on the bed while Mauri laid flat. It took a couple of years to get their shit together, but when they did, it was what strong relationships were made of.

“I’m about to take a shower. Want to join me?” Mauri asked with a seductive smile.

Before he could answer, a loud blaring sound came from her laptop. She didn’t bother to put clothes on. The alarm made her heart beat hard in her chest. She opened the laptop so fast that she thought she would push the screen back too hard and break it. Yetti looked on with worry.

Mauri’s laptop was never in a shut off state. When her program pulled up, her heart dropped. “Something’s wrong with Lyn.”

“How you know, baby?” Yetti wasn’t directly involved with Christianson Enterprises. He was a vendor, if you will. His firearms business had provided the necessary artillery for the organization for decades. Lyn was Mauri’s cousin and protégé. She was embedded in Yetti, Mauri, and their children’s lives.

“That alarm only sounds when a necklace is taken off without it being unclasped.” She typed on her computer to get the locations of everyone in the organization. “So, like if someone snatches it off.”

Mauri prayed that the necklace had mistakenly popped off. All of her other locator tags were pinging at her condo. She must have been at her condo , Mauri thought.

“She’s not answering her phone, baby.” Yetti didn’t know all the details, but he cared for Lyn as well. He didn’t want anything to happen to her.

Mauri grabbed her laptop. She moved to sit next to Yetti. “I’m going to hack into the cameras.”

After a few clicks, she was in. “Who the fuck is that?”

Yetti’s finger pointed to the figures that moved throughout her condo. Mauri flipped the camera feed to her bedroom. What she saw made her almost piss herself. Her hand flew over her mouth. “Oh my God! I have to put out an alert. Mont is going to go ape shit.”

Yetti wanted to go, but he had to stay with their babies. “Mauri, call me if you need me. I’m not fucking playing.”

She nodded her head, then put in the alert. The alert that she used only went to a specified list of people. That list consisted of active and retired agents. This list was only used in the direst of situations. This qualified as just that. The instructions on the alert were for everyone to meet at The Ranch.

Mauri wasted no time jumping in the shower while Yetti packed her computers and retrieved her guns from their wall safe. He didn’t know much, but what he did know was that the streets were going to bleed.
