Jinx
I was happy for Fanatic as he took his patch and swung Willow around in a circle. He was a nice guy. The party was in full swing; justice was done.
But I didn’t think all of the rot had been removed from Hellfire. I didn’t trust two of the candidates and didn’t like how they spoke to the old ladies. As a candidate, I was unsure if I should report my worries. And snitching was delicate at the best of times.
People cried out as Danny zoomed between their legs, heading straight for me. I smiled as I picked up my buddy, who began babbling one hundred miles an hour. Danny was damn cute and a sweet kid. Unsure when my true identity would be exposed, I had to make the most of my time.
Honestly, I was shocked I was still here and my identity hadn’t been discovered. The truth was, I wasn’t here to harm anyone. I just wanted to be a part of Hellfire. However long that was, who knew? But for now, my brothers needed help.
Fanatic might have claimed Willow, but the other decent candidates required an old lady. And I’d met some fantastic women who’d give them a run for their money.
I eyed my brothers, trying to determine who was next. My gaze landed on the pretty boy of the club. His looks stunned all the ladies, including those who had men. A grin crossed my lips.
I had just the woman for him.
