36. Epilogue - Matt
Six months later . . .
Summer’s finally here, it’s a perfect day for one of my barbeques. The rest of the gang is coming in the afternoon, but Natalie should be here any minute.
She spends almost every night at my place, but every once in a while, she goes back to her apartment, probably to keep some sense of separation. I don’t mind.
I’d love for her to move in with me full-time, but I’m grateful for all the progress we’ve made. And I’m not in a hurry. Now that I’ve found her, my only goal is to keep her.
She’s been seeing a therapist for a few months. At first, she kept it to herself, but lately she’s been sharing it all with me, with the girls, opening herself up to the people around her.
She was, and is, a force of nature, but she finally knows she doesn’t always have to be. That she has people around her ready to take care of her. And she’s leaning into it, day by day.
These few months have been incredible. Our public sex list has been growing exponentially, not planned, but by sheer force of our need for each other. She met my mom, and we travelled to Sacramento for Easter where she met Benji, Sarah, and Adam. Benji fell in love with her right away, of course.
Fuck, just thinking about her makes me miss her, though I saw her yesterday. Maybe we could squeeze in a quickie before the others arrive.
The sound of the doorbell snaps me out of my thoughts. I gave her a key, but she decided to only use it for emergencies.
A wide smile on my face, I open the front door, but confusion soon overtakes my features.
There she stands, in sweatpants and her hair messy like I love it, two suitcases in tow. She eyes me expectantly, but my brain is frozen.
Probably realizing I’m not saying anything, she clears her throat, breaking the silence.
“I’m ready,” she says, but her words don’t make any sense.
“Are we going somewhere?” That’s the only thing that comes to mind.
“Uhm...” She glances behind her, and I notice a moving truck parked in my fucking driveway. “My lease was coming up.” She fidgets her fingers. “So, I thought to take you on the offer you’ve been badgering me about.”
A warm feeling starts in my stomach, as if I’m a balloon filling up with air. As if I could fly off the ground any second now, as her words start to make sense.
“Badgering? I asked you once.” I don’t miss a chance to make a joke, and she huffs out a laugh.
“Your eyes were begging me every time I left this place.” Her nerves are now gone, a smirk on her face.
“You’re moving in? Really moving in?” My hand circles her waist, pulling her flush to me.
“Yup.” Her gorgeous eyes stare at me with love, and in that moment, I’m the luckiest person in the world.
“Why didn’t you say anything? About the lease, nothing?”
“It was a surprise, duh.” She rolls her eyes, making me laugh.
“But I should have helped you with your stuff. How the hell did you do that on your own?”
“Matt, honey, I need you to put your gentleman side aside and kiss me already.”
She doesn’t have to tell me twice. Our lips connect, the elation I feel turning into passion, and I hope we have enough time before others arrive.
Just as I’m thinking of burying myself deep inside of her, whistles and claps sound in my driveway.
“What?” I pull away slightly, noticing where the sounds are coming from. Eric, Rina, Connor, Noah, Anne, and even Bryce, who Anne’s been seeing for a couple of months, make their way from behind the truck, cheering for us loud enough for the entire neighborhood to hear.
“Don’t worry, I had some help with the move.” They’re all dressed in sweats, and I realize this isn’t a barbeque, this is a moving in party.
“Wow, thanks guys! Feel free to start unloading the truck, we need a second.” I hoist her up, so she locks her legs around my waist and run her upstairs.
She giggles as I pepper her face and neck with tiny kisses.
“Matt, everyone’s downstairs. We can’t!” she whisper-yells.
“Well, what did you think would happen when you did this?”
She giggles even louder.
“I guess you’ll have to wait for everyone to leave,” she says with a glint in her eyes, and I know that’s exactly what she planned. She still loves driving me crazy, testing my patience and sanity.
“You’re such a little brat, baby. You’ll need to be punished for that.” I bite into her neck, making her squeal.
“We’ll see.” She jumps away from me and runs downstairs, squealing and giggling.
I huff out a laugh, my dick straining against my pants, but I know he’ll get his, later. Now, it’s time to strain some other muscles and move the love of my life into my house.
Good thing my house’s big enough because Natalie has a lot of things. It takes us a couple of hours to move everything from the truck, but it will take us weeks to get everything out of the boxes.
Rina and Anne help her unpack a part of it, while the rest of us work on the barbeque, before we all enjoy the food.
Our friends finally leave, so we head upstairs. I let her be the first one to enter the bedroom. Our bedroom. My heart paces in a fast rhythm as I rub my suddenly sweaty hands on my shorts. The bulge in my pocket doesn’t help my nerves.
It takes her a second before noticing the piece of paper laying on the bed.
“What’s this?” she asks with a sparkle in her eyes.
“Why don’t you take a look?”
“Oh my God,” she says, reading it.
It’s the list. Our list. List of all the things we did in the last few months, all the items carefully checked off.
All except for one.
Her eyes turn watery when she gets to the last item on the list. One that says ‘ say yes.’
“I thought I’d add one item. Hope you don’t mind.”
She glances up from the paper, a tear falling down her cheek and notices me down on one knee, an open ring box in my hands.
“Natalie, I couldn’t stop thinking about you since that very first night in a grimy bar restroom. Even when I hated you, you were all I thought about, all I dreamt about. You already made me the luckiest man alive once today, but I’m a greedy bastard and want it all.” She chuckles through her tears. “Will you marry me?”
Coming closer to me, she takes my hands in hers and looks me deep in the eyes.
“I was just hoping for some D tonight.” I snort, releasing all the tension I had. She bursts out laughing, and my hand reaches out to pinch her ass.
“Ouch. Fine.” Her face turns serious. “Of course, I’ll marry you. I promised to tell you when I’m ready, and I’m ready.”
“Really?”
“Really.” I get up, taking her mouth in a scalding hot kiss. She whimpers before moving her head.
“How about you put that ring on me? I want to wear it while you fuck me.”
I growl into her neck and slide the ring onto her finger. She lifts her hand, seeing how it looks, but the sight is too much for me.
It’s time she gets punished for being the brat that she is.
I tie her to the bed, spread-eagle, and torture her for an hour and a half with my tongue and fingers. She’s not allowed to come. Not yet.
“Fuck, Matt! I need to come!” she whines as I bite into her taut nipple.
“Patience, baby. You’ll be coming on my dick.”
Finally, I thrust my aching cock into her dripping cunt, a loud gasp escaping her.
“Yes! Yes!” she chants out, her pussy already clamping my cock.
I pump into her at a punishing pace, and not long after, her orgasm overtakes her. I follow right along, spilling myself inside of her with a loud grunt.
Trying to catch our breath, she’s the first one to speak. “This proposal was kind of quick after my surprise. Couldn’t let me be the romantic one for one day, huh?”
A chuckle escapes me as I lay on top of her, our bodies slick with sweat.
“I couldn’t wait another second.” I don’t tell her I bought the ring the day after she told me she’d give me a chance.
Right then, I was sure that this right here was just a matter of time. And no amount of time would keep me away.
Finally, I slip out of her and boy, is she a sight.
Wild hair, glossy eyes, wide smile. Miles of olive skin stretched out on our bed.
“What are you doing?” she asks, noticing my stare.
“Committing this to memory.”
“You don’t have to remember it; you get to relive it every single night.”
“I love you, baby.”
“Of course, you do. You’d be crazy not to.” A laugh bubbles out of me.
After the teary reaction to the proposal, she’s back to being herself.
And the only thing better than Natalie being herself is Natalie being herself with my ring on her finger, and my cum dripping out of her.
