Hold (Booked for Lust #4)
Chapter 1 Advanced Friendships
Advanced Friendships
In the “Booked for Lust” series, Sheila has a variety of sexy adventures. Each book can be enjoyed as a stand-alone, though the overarching story of Sheila’s sexual awakening and deepening friendships grows with each subsequent novel.
Each of her Advanced Friendships (so far) is listed in alphabetical order to help those who start the series from this book.
Alexander: Introduced in “Reserve,” Alexander is Derek’s former college roommate. They’ve maintained their friendship for two decades. They share a lot of history but have never shared anything physical. Until now.
Brandon: A software expert sent to help the library upgrade their computer system in “Browse,” Brandon introduced Sheila to a number of erotic firsts.
While Derek opened her eyes to the idea of orgasms without a relationship, Brandon initiated Sheila into the world of casual sex.
He’ll return for the next stage of the software install, and he hopes to restart her system, too.
Chuck: Sheila and Chuck met at a restaurant the same night Derek opened her eyes to new adventures in “Browse.” They’ve had several abbreviated attempts at hooking up, but they haven’t been able to consummate their friendship yet.
His roommate, Jerry, and his job keep getting in the way, but Sheila hopes the wait will be worth it.
Derek: Their heated meeting at the library after hours in “Browse” started Sheila on her path to sexual enlightenment.
Derek was initially reluctant to have a friends-with-benefits relationship, which he later termed “Advanced Friendships,” until Sheila demonstrated the benefits more clearly.
Then he was hooked on the idea and eager to participate.
He enjoys hearing about Sheila’s activities with her other friends, too.
Derek hasn’t dated anyone since his amicable divorce a few years earlier, and he’s a single father of a teenage daughter, Dani.
Pete: A former security guard at the library, Pete was introduced as a minor character in “Browse.” However, he and Sheila became intimate in “Circulate” when he rescued her from a sprained ankle, offered her first aid and more in the breakroom, and visited her at home to play doctor.
At the end of “Circulate,” he left for another job, and Sheila decided to stop pushing her luck at work.
