Starting Right
R ight before dawn, it began to rain. Around the same time, a honeymooning couple shared a sigh in their bure. They’d intended to head to the eastern side of the island, feel the warm sand between their toes, the crisp morning air in their lungs, and bask in the first dawn since their arrival yesterday afternoon. Disappointed, they decided to wait and try again tomorrow. A walk through the rain on a beautiful beach wasn’t so bad. So, that was what they did.
Liam, on the other hand, didn’t even realize it was raining. He was far too deep in his sleep for his body to even conceive of waking up for the sunrise. In fact, by the time he woke up, the morning rain had reduced to a meager drizzle, tap, tap, tapping on the thatch roofing of his bure. It’d fizzle out before the hour was up, clouds dispersing soon after.
Even had that not happened, Liam wouldn’t have been disappointed. He had outdoor plans today, yes, but they were still hours away. And some warm rain wouldn’t really affect a person intending to spend a fair bit of his day underwater.
But any such issues caused by the rain could wait. When Liam awoke, aware but unbothered by the sound of it striking the deck outside his bedroom doors, he had no reason to go outside. In fact, he had no reason to even climb out of bed.
While a honeymooning couple let the rain dampen their hair, walking right by his and Victoria’s bure on the beach outside, Liam stayed in bed. There was no better place to be. After all, he got to spend nearly an hour sucking, kissing, and fondling the most magnificent pair of breasts on the planet.
He suspected that she’d been waiting. Victoria had “stirred” almost precisely when he’d first come awake, making enough commotion for him to know she was also awake immediately. It was too suspicious for him not to take notice. It also resulted in a sunburst of pride within him.
If he was right, she’d been waiting for him to leave one of the deepest periods of sleep he could remember experiencing. He didn’t need to wonder why she’d stayed in bed, doing such a curious thing. He knew the reason.
Pride, excitement, lust. Any one of the three could have got his blood pumping. This morning, all three worked in tandem. Victoria had been waiting for him to wake up. Eager, even? It was hard to tell, of course, but he let himself think it must be true. She was as ready as he was to create their first vacation tradition.
So, fully aware of why one of the most beautiful women alive had stayed in bed with him today, Liam provided her the touch and attention she’d been craving.
He kissed, sucked, licked, caressed, fondled, and played with those heavenly breasts. They became his whole world. His mind cut away all that wasn’t necessary, shrinking his world to this one bed, this one woman. And she surely reaped the benefits.
Because she could climax from it. Like Anna, though not exactly like Anna. If Anna’s sensitivity was the stove turned to max, then Victoria was just a few dozen degrees cooler. Both were past the threshold needed to reach boiling temperatures, however, and that was all that mattered. It was utterly fantastic news! For him and them.
No one in their group would ever be shocked to hear that Liam loved breasts. Hell, he’d received plenty of ribbing about it—especially when it came to these breasts—from multiple sources. He’d never again act like he didn’t know what they were talking about. Why should he?
There was no longer any reason to pretend. And that thrilled him.
Victoria enjoyed things, too. Realistically, she enjoyed them at least a little more than he did, as she was the one who was allowed to tense, suck air through clenched teeth, and break beneath the skillfulness of his touch. He, on the other hand, got to feel those tremors, see her eyes dilate, hear her breathy moans. Her legs shifting beneath him when he was on top of her, or her knees bumping into his when they were side to side. He was enthralled by each one of her orgasms—and yes, he kept count.
After number three, Victoria began stroking his hair, breasts heaving as she refilled her lungs with air. She didn’t ask him to stop, so he didn’t. For the gorgeous professor, today was the day the dam broke. Yesterday—in the way of a sensual, erotic massage—had left a dangerous crack on the sturdy stone, paving the way for the flood that swept over her this morning.
How long had it been since she’d received so much bliss from another person? A while, he suspected. As she’d openly explained to him not too long ago, she’d been searching for a suitable match these past several months, after the end of her self-imposed—and silly, as she proclaimed it—exile from the dating pool. Since doing so, since opening herself up to dating again, she’d continuously ended up disappointed in the crowd of men—and it was definitely a crowd—she attracted. He’d felt her pessimism in the text she’d sent that explained all this.
So, why him? Why had she given him a shot? He was just barely over half her age, and while she respected him, that didn’t guarantee interest in trying out a romance—a lesson that too many people seemed not to understand.
He wasn’t a hundred percent sure. Not yet, anyway. Down the line, probably once they were back in the States, he might ask. He was curious about it.
However, he knew why she’d continued to be interested in him, even after learning that he was romantically entangled with not one, not two, but three other women. It was because of one of those women, in fact. He was sure of it.
He’d captured Tess’s attention, her heart, her desires. And Victoria wanted to know why that was. She clearly respected her slightly older colleague; that was as noticeable as the sound of the rain drumming its fingers on their roof. She was a brilliant professor, a wonderful woman, and just as capable of attracting a horde of hopeful men as Victoria was.
So, why was she with her much younger next-door neighbor?
Liam knew that this question had a lot to do with Victoria letting him give her the massage he’d impressed her with yesterday. A catalyst, perhaps. Unable to contain her curiosity, she’d wanted to see for herself what made her colleague attach herself to him.
The past twenty-four hours had almost undoubtedly given Victoria a few insights into why. That included this very moment.
“Oh, ohhh,” Victoria whispered, arching slightly as he bit her nipple, then tugged it with his teeth. Her breast stretched out, helped by his hands, which surrounded and pressed in on it, and she quivered in satisfaction.
Liam was simply overwhelmed with excitement, anticipation. It buzzed through his ears like a pair of beehives had taken up residence on either side of him. He was making Victoria grow taut with bliss. He was making her body yearn for more. Not just now but tonight, tomorrow, and every day left of their trip.
And what about the ones after it’s over?
Liam had to ask.
After releasing Victoria’s nipple, although he quickly kissed the stiff point and rolled it around beneath his tongue, he did so. He gave her a moment to catch her breath, face flush due to his talent. The other three had honed him well.
“I know we talked about this arrangement lasting for the trip, but what about when we’re back?” he asked. He resumed kissing her breast afterward, tracing his lips—practically burning hot at this juncture—around her areola.
Victoria shivered but eyed him, aware of his intentions. “I’m sure a discussion will occur before too long.”
“Why not now?”
“While you have me pinned beneath you, at a serious disadvantage of composure?”
“You could roll over and get on top of me,” Liam said with a smile. “If that helps.”
“It wouldn’t,” Victoria said, going so far as to roll her eyes. A rare gesture, from her. “What arrangement would you like to set up?”
Liam’s heart soared into the sky. He didn’t answer her right away, refocusing on her sensitive breasts. Around ten minutes later, number four arrived. No, she wasn’t as sensitive as Anna. But that didn’t mean they both wouldn’t enjoy spending hours and hours like this, in this exact position. During and after this trip was over.
“I’m going to be gardening with you a lot,” Liam said. “Once we’re back home, especially once the summer arrives.”
“Unless your chess skills dramatically increase, yes,” Victoria said. “Or if you give up on trying to beat me.”
“Never,” he immediately said. “I want my phone to have an entire album of you.”
Victoria didn’t blush, but she did swallow. Expectantly? Hopefully? Yes. Both.
“Then yes, you’ll need to keep practicing a lot. As I’ve said, I don’t intend to throw any matches.”
Liam nodded. His attention might have drifted while they spoke, but he continued to kiss her breasts and roll her nipples with his thumbs. She liked a bit of roughness, a tinge of pain. He pinched her nipples in tandem, squeezing and rolling them beneath his fingertips. Victoria drew in a sharp breath and arched up ever so slightly.
“I just want to make sure you don’t immediately kick me out once I’ve finished helping you with your gardening,” Liam said. “That’s all. You’ve got that pool I want to swim in, too.”
“ That’s the assurance you need?” Victoria asked, almost sounding amused. As if she’d been expecting a larger demand—a more specific one. Because it was obvious that she’d let him stay around after he finished his “chores” in her garden.
Liam decided to rise to the challenge. “And fuck you in it, obviously.”
Victoria smirked, which caught Liam off guard. It made him stumble like a meanspirited spectator suddenly sticking out their leg to trip him right before he reached the finish line. He knit his eyebrows together, wondering what gaffe he’d just made.
No gaffe. It was just that Victoria was preparing to make a joke. Which was shocking in its own right.
“Which place are you referring to?”
“What?”
Victoria stayed amused. “Which of the two places are you hoping to fuck me in? My garden or my pool?”
Liam blinked, finally catching up to her point. He met her amusement, which manifested as a raised eyebrow, with his own roll of the eyes.
“Both, obviously. A few times, probably both on the same day.”
“Your stamina might allow that,” Victoria said, running her hand down his chest. It reached his abdomen, though it stopped before it confirmed what had been the case since pretty much the moment he’d woken up. He was rejuvenated. Ready for today. Ready for more.
“So,” Victoria said, returning her attention to his face, “my garden, my pool, and my classroom. An interesting selection.”
“There are others, naturally.”
“Such as?”
Liam understood. It came down upon him like a beam of light piercing the roof, its heat warming his back. Victoria had expertly led him to this specific point so that she might ask this specific question. He knew why.
“This island,” Liam whispered lustfully, returning his lips to one of her nipples. However, his eyes stayed up, connected with Victoria’s beautiful, piercing stare. More than ever before, waiting for her reply, it mesmerized him.
“That’s a possibility,” Victoria said.
“Nearly guaranteed?” Liam immediately asked. “Especially with your birthday coming up?”
“Highly likely,” Victoria corrected, wearing a half-smile. “More likely by the minute, I might even admit.”
Liam tried not to shiver noticeably. He failed. His elation nearly made him dizzy. He blinked through the sudden thrust of glee he felt, drew in a deep breath, and continued to hold her stare.
“What can I do to improve my chances?”
He didn’t expect a reply. They both knew she didn’t need to actually answer the question. She just needed to let him work it out himself. Which he did, of course. It’d been years since Victoria had experienced anything worthwhile from a romantic partner. Now, she was ready to see if he could continue impressing her.
Yet, she did ultimately reply.
“Would you like a way to guarantee it?” she asked, sighing as he continued battering her resolve.
Do you even need to ask? Liam thought, chuckling. He brought his eyes up from her breasts, meeting her gaze. In it, he spotted an evolving idea within her peerless blue eyes.
“Are you plotting something, Professor Moreno?” he asked.
“Yes,” she whispered, shivering as he pinched both her nipples simultaneously. “You’re going to dislike it. At first.”
Perplexed, Liam diverted his attention away from her voluptuous body. “I’m listening.”
“Figure out when my birthday is,” Victoria said. “If you can accomplish that, then wish me happy birthday before anyone else, you can fuck me right then and there. Or whenever you decide you want to cash in your reward.”
“And if I can’t figure it out?” Liam asked.
“Then you’ll have to wait. You’ll have to make do with other choice options, which we both know you’ll enjoy. But no sex.”
She was right. At first, he didn’t like this new wrinkle in things. He really disliked it, in fact. Why would she toss this roadblock in, and so suddenly? Randomly, even.
But then he thought about it more. Even appreciate what he thought she was doing.
“And there’s nothing I can do to convince you to tell me when your birthday is, is there?”
Victoria shook her head. A measure of approval glimmered in her eyes.
But the others all know. All I would need to do is get one of them to break.
“Am I allowed to bring up this conversation to the others?” he asked, going down his checklist of ideas.
“No. It stays in this bedroom, between us.”
Liam nodded. Although it was impossible for him to say he was thrilled by this unexpected hurdle, he was up for the challenge. If he was anything, it was determined. He would not leave Fiji without having fucked Victoria. That was non-negotiable. So, he would find out when her birthday was and whisper his well wishes into her ear on the morning of it.
And then they’d both get what they wanted.
“I’ll know when it is very soon,” Liam proclaimed.
Victoria smiled but stayed silent. She closed her eyes and set her head back on her pillow. A clear sign that she wasn’t ready for them to leave their bed just yet.
Liam spent the next fifteen minutes reminding Victoria why she should pray for his success. She reached number five. With her breasts finally needing a break from his attention, he pulled his mouth and hands back. But of course, they soon found new positions on Victoria’s body, all at her request. Kissing her deeply, Victoria slipped her hands into his. When she climbed out of bed a few minutes later, she kept hold of his right hand. She used that connection to pull him out of bed, then along.
Toward the outdoor shower.
A little over an hour later, Liam bounced and bobbed on the ocean, sitting with four gorgeous women as they headed toward the Sawa-i-Lau Caves. The third day of the most incredible vacation of Liam’s life was underway. He would see that it continued to get better and better.
