AUDRINA
“ Yes! ” I cry, my second orgasm spasms through me like a tornado. I’ve never been this turned on before, and I know it’s because of the position he has me in as well as not being able to see or anticipate his next move. “I mean, sorry! I didn’t mean to?—”
Then West slides inside me in one thrust, grunting as I jerk at the intrusion. “Baby,” he murmurs. “I can’t play with you any longer, my balls are gonna combust.”
I smile but it doesn’t last long because he slides out of me again, then slams back in. I’m so slippery it’s ridiculous, but it only seems to make West grunt even harder. His hands are all over me. Cupping my breasts, sucking each nipple as he moves slowly but deliberately in and out. The way he rocks his hips sends me into oblivion, and I’ve no idea how I ever thought a vibrator could match what this man has going on. It definitely doesn’t compete with the real thing.
His lips finally press to mine as his tongue finds me, and we’re a tangled mess; him surging in and out of me with a long, hard thrust each time he enters, and me bucking my hips trying to meet him so I can feel that tornado once again.
“So good,” I murmur. “I’m... I’m so hot for you, Boss Man.”
“You’re a naughty little girl,” he admonishes. “Teasin’ me with this pussy, with these perfect tits.” He sucks my nipple again, harder this time, and I convulse. He draws my orgasm out because of the slow pace, and each time he shucks his hips, he grazes my clit and I spiral on a long, shouting moan.
“I can’t,” I cry. “I can’t take any more.”
“Use your colors,” he whispers. “Are we red, baby?”
“No! I didn’t mean that.” All of a sudden, he stills, lifting my eyepatch, and I blink him into view.
“You have no idea how sexy you look, not bein’ able to move.”
“You have no idea how hot you make me doing this to me.”
He kisses me chastely, lifting up he holds his hands above mine on the bedpost and slams into me, pulling out he does it again. “Do you prefer to watch?”
“Oh!”
He moves in and out, but the pace is still agonizing, and he knows it. “You good?”
“I’m more than good.”
He leans down, biting on my lip gently as he tugs. “I want it better than good, baby.” Then he pulls out, flips me over, and pulls my hips back so my arms are taught. He parts my legs. “I want it so you’ll never think about another man doin’ this ever again except me.”
“It’s already you,” I breathe.
He slides into me, his hands gripping my hips. “Always wanted to do you doggie style tied up like this.” His words in my ear make me shudder. “But you’re not tellin’ me how you want it.”
“Hard and fast,” I blurt.
He chuckles. “There we go.” He slides out, ramming back in as I jolt forward. He moves his hands to cup my breasts and slides in and out again, his pace quickening on every thrust. “This what you need?”
“God, yes.”
“Do you know how sexy you look like this?” He growls. “This ass is gonna be mine someday.”
My eyes go wide; luckily he can’t see my face. I’ve never contemplated ass play, and I think we’re a little ways off trying it. I’m clearly no prude after spending time in bed with him, but the idea makes me red hot because I’ve no idea how that feels.
“Nobody’s ever done that before,” I feel the need to add.
He bites down on my shoulder, and I shiver. “And they’re never goin’ to. If and when you’re ready, we can try it, and if you don’t want to, that’s alright. But not tonight. Tonight this pussy is mine.”
One hand reaches into my hair, the other slides around my hip, and West doesn’t hold back. He moves in and out of me furiously, like he’s got a vendetta with my pussy and he’s taking out all the wrath on my body in every single thrust. I feel his balls slapping against my wet center, and I begin to spiral when his hand moves from my hip and pinches my clit hard. I combust, crying his name like he’s the devil himself, and West shouts, stilling as he spills inside me, his hot breath at my neck, his chest pressing up against my back.
“Fuck me,” he whispers. Reaching up, he releases my hands from the bed, and I collapse onto my front. He follows suit, squashing me as I yelp. He rolls over to one side, panting as much as I am as he holds the pink tie in his hand.
“I think I could get used to being punished.” I race for breath, unable to comprehend how he can mold my body to his whim like that. Not that I’m questioning it, I’m his for the taking.
“Me too.” He folds an arm over his eyes. “That was hot.”
“How’s your ass?”
He chuckles. “It’s fine, Peaches. I need more of that.”
“Did you really like it that much?”
He shifts his head to face me, his breathing still in tatters. “Don’t think I’ve ever come so hard,” he tells me as I roll my lips. He’s always very honest with what he says, and it only makes my confidence grow. “You can spank my ass anytime, just for the record.”
I brush his hair off his forehead, planting a kiss there. “Thank you, West.”
He frowns. “What for? Sexually liberatin’ you?”
I shake with laughter. “Yes, but not just that. I feel safe with you.”
His smile turns serious. “That’s all I’ve ever wanted.” He strokes my cheek. “You’re my ol’ lady, and I’ll protect you till the day I die, even after that.”
“You’re gonna come back and haunt anyone who even looks at me?”
“Yep. I’ll work out a way to rip their eyes out while I’m at it.”
I look down at the floor; Tilbury is still sound asleep in her bed. It’s a wonder she didn’t wake up from the commotion, and I’m also thankful West doesn’t have neighbors. I roll onto my side, pressing a kiss to his shoulder. “I’m sure you would,” I muse. “West? Is something bothering you from the attack?”
I know he’s been acting a little cagey for this last week, and I haven’t wanted to bring it up again, but I feel as if I should. “What makes you say that?”
“It’s just... you’ve seemed uneasy this last week, like you can’t rest.”
“I’m fine, baby, nothin’ to worry about. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, that’s all.”
For the first time since I’ve met him, West lies to me.
I sit up farther. “I know you’re not telling me the truth.”
His eyes find mine. “How do you know that?”
I sigh. “Because I know you. I’ve studied that handsome face for longer than I care to admit. I feel like I know every single expression and hesitation.”
“Would you smack me if I said it was club business?”
My heart races so fast. Star told me that’s what the men say to the ol’ ladies when they can’t talk about stuff outside of church. “I wouldn’t smack you, but it makes me worried.”
He rolls over, too, facing me on his side. He rests his hand on the side of my face, his eyes warm and kind as he smiles gently. “You never have to worry, and if somethin’ is club business, it’s not always a bad thing. It means we have to do our jobs in order to keep everyone safe.”
“Are we not safe?”
“Of course you are. I’d never let you out of my sight if I didn’t think you were.”
“Do you think the attack was personal?”
His thumb strokes my cheek as I press a hand to his chest. “No, but I saw two of them had matchin’ tattoos. So I wanted to check to see if they’re in a gang.”
“West, please tell me you’re not going to go looking for those animals?”
“I’m not,” he says. “But somethin’ didn’t sit right, and when that happens, I have to investigate it. So far, I don’t know much, lots of gangs have similar patches.”
“Please don’t go out looking for trouble.”
He grips my knee, bending my leg so it hooks up over his hip. “I’m not gonna do that, I promise. But every threat to the club has to be taken seriously, even if it was a random attack. We have to exhaust all avenues. It’s just a precaution.”
“Okay,” I breathe. “Just as long as you’re not putting yourself in any unnecessary danger.”
“I’m not.” His lips meet mine. “Now, do you think we should get some sleep?”
“Am I keeping you up?”
"No, but as soon as we get some shut eye, I can wake you up with my tongue like I did the other mornin’.”
“You have such a way with words.” He leaves the bed for a second and I watch him scoop up Tilbury and place her between us, wrapped in her tiny blanket.
I smile as West rolls onto his back and I snuggle into his shoulder, our legs tangled and our hearts still beating strong.
“Uh, huh, not just a pretty face.”
I don’t even adjust the eye patch on my head; I leave it there because as soon as I close my eyes, I’m falling into the deepest slumber I’ve had in a long time.
All around me, I feel warmth. I have everything I’ve ever wanted, and West said there was no bubble bursting. When I said that before, he told me he was in love with me. That was the pivotal moment that changed everything. It was validation. “ D.ON.E. I don’t want another woman, Audrina, I want you. I want you in my bed, with me every single night.”
I can’t even imagine a world where he’s not in it. I don’t want to think about what my life looked like before he stepped into it and literally knocked me off my feet. It feels nice.
Calming. Happy. And I never want things to change.
A few weeks pass, and West is back to his old self. I’ve spent very few nights in my basement, preferring to be with West every chance I get, and having Tilbury has been a blessing. She’s been by my side for two weeks now, and I’ve loved every minute of being her new mom. I don’t know if I just got lucky, but she has been an angel in everything; sleeping, potty training, even walking, though she gets very tired and I have to carry her most of the way.
Everyone who meets her falls in love and asks if she’ll grow into her ears. Personally, I think she’s just adorable the way she is; her little white socks on each leg, matched with her grayish fur, make her unique and cute as a button. Added bonus, she loves to cuddle.
I’ve also been handling West’s bookkeeping with ease when we’re not all over each other, which we’ve had to try and put a lid on so we can get some work done. I love having this new skill at my fingertips and that I’m able to help West out and lessen his stress levels. I can safely say that he seems less stressed than ever, which is wonderful to see.
West never said anything more about the gang situation, and I didn’t ask. I figured if he had something to say, he’d say it. Despite all that talk about ‘club business’, I know that the ol’ ladies are the first to know when things are going down or the dynamics are changing, and so far there’s been nothing. One can only hope things stay that way because the club has had a lot to deal with these last few years.
Bella had a scare with one of her alarms going off at the studio, but since her brothers Rock and Jett were quick to get there, they worked out it was a faulty wire. Still, Priest was on edge with her having the baby in tow, but they were worried about nothing.
The following week I volunteer at Faux Paws so Tilbury can have a playdate, and I love helping out. The shelter got a lot of press from the open house, and the adoptions have been plentiful, something that makes my heart happy.
“It’s great to see the little one so playful and happy,” Kylie says as Tilbury plays with another little dog, a Pomeranian who just came in a few days ago. She’s already adopted, but they just have to pay their adoption fees.
“She’s honestly a dream dog,” I gush. “I swear she’s been here before because she just knows how to do things without barely being told. It’s like we were drawn to one another.”
“Thanks to that sexy man of yours.” Kylie waggles her eyebrows. “You can barely keep that grin off your face whenever his name comes up.”
I shrug. “I can’t help it, I’m almost fifty years old, I never thought I’d find love again.”
She smiles warmly. I’ve become quite close to both of the girls here who help Luna and the manager, Rachel. They often stop by for coffee at Muso’s so we can catch up.
“Well, he seems very smitten, the two of you are like little lovebirds.”
I laugh. “I guess it is pretty sickening for those having to watch, just ask my son.”
She chuckles. “Aren’t kids just the best? Though, it’s great that he and Nevada get along. Have you heard from his dad lately?”
I told the girls briefly about John — leaving out the phone call part — and I’m pleased to say he hasn’t been in contact since. “Nope, he’s stayed away, which is for the best. West would go crazy if he contacted me again. He could see how much stress John was putting me under, and I felt obliged to keep the peace because I didn’t want him and our son to fall out like they did before.”
She squeezes my shoulder. “You’re a rock, Audrina. I’m glad you’re not carrying that burden anymore.”
I smile. “Good things come to those who wait, right?”
“So they say.” She looks down at her phone. “Ooh, I’ve got the delivery coming, are you okay to watch the shop for a few minutes so I can show him where to drop the stuff?”
“Of course, no problem.”
“Thanks.” She takes off, and I keep cleaning out the cat cages while Tilbury and her new little friend play in the pen.
I hum to myself, feeling on top of the world. West has even started searching for houses on the internet because he wants to buy a bigger place. I’ve also suggested we pool our funds and buy something together, but I’m having a hard time convincing him of that. I suddenly wince, a sharp pain in my stomach that’s been happening all week. I’ve been known to bloat from time to time, but this is getting ridiculous, and it’s making me really tired. I look up as the bell dings at the front door and close the cage. “I’ll be right there,” I call out, taking off my rubber gloves. I lay them on the bench close by and head out to the front. There’s a man looking around the shop. I smile pleasantly. “Can I help you with anything?”
There’s nothing unusual about him, but for some reason the heckles on my back go up when he rubs his chin. “Came in for some dog food.”
My eyes wander to the brightly colored tattoo on his hand. A snake. Okay, now is not the time to panic. It’s just a coincidence.
“We have all kinds, what kind of dog do you have?”
He moves closer to me as I stay put behind the counter; he’s huge, much bigger than me, but that’s not hard to be when I’m tiny. “A bitch.”
I swallow hard. “Okay, I’ll just grab my colleague for some help...”
“No need to do that, Audrina .” He says my name in three syllables, his smirk cruel as I back away.
“How do you— how do you know my name?”
He cracks his knuckles. “You really should be more careful when you’re by yourself, pretty lady, you could get yourself seriously hurt.”
“I’m not by myself—” I start, panic rising in me, but he chuckles to himself. Crap! My phone is out near the cat cages.
“I’ll count to three, give you a head start.”
I don’t even try to bargain; I turn and run. The second I do, I hear him behind me. “Three!”
He lunges, and I yell, crying out for Kylie as he tackles me to the ground. I crash onto the floor, and he’s right there, on top of me. Oh, God. This can’t be happening… this can’t be happening. Kylie! West! Someone!
“ Please! ” I cry. “Please don’t! I’ve got money.”
He puts a hand over my mouth, drowning out my cries. “They told me to bring you in unharmed,” he spits. “But I don’t know, maybe I should have my fun with you first.”
“No!” I try to scream, but no sound comes out, only my muffled cries. He yanks me by the hair and turns me to face him.
“Sweet piece of ass.” He sighs. “But it’s your lucky day if you stop wrigglin’ around, stupid bitch, if I do that, I don’t get paid, but maybe after...”
I hear a noise from the back. Kylie! Help! HELP ME!
With all my might, I struggle. I try to fight, but when his arm comes around my neck and he squeezes, dragging me up to my feet, I start to choke.
“Yep, it really is a pity.” We move toward the front door.
I don’t know what that means... what does that mean? Why is it a pity?
My lungs are on fire as I struggle for breath, my mind racing with who this is and what he wants from me. Snake tattoo. West said many gangs around New Orleans had snake tattoos, but nothing had panned out, so he eventually dropped his obsession with finding out about them.
“Please!” I try, but my words are lost as my consciousness slips from me. It’s not supposed to be like this. My end can’t happen like this! But then everything turns black.
