Epilogue
EPILOGUE
Audrina
Five months later
“You’re the cutest pregnant woman I’ve ever seen.” Amber wraps her arms around me as we hug.
The last few months, I’ve gotten really close with her and we’ve bonded a lot since my ordeal. I can’t say any of it was easy. The one thing that I got out of all the mayhem and bad things that happened to me is how much I love my family. All of the MC, not just Asher and West. They’ve been amazing, offering me all the support I could ever need. The girls in the group chat have checked in daily. We have a weekly catch up now at one of our houses and I’ve really enjoyed the solidarity and sisterhood.
Today we’re meeting at Muso’s because I had some work to catch up on.
“I don’t know about that,” I smile. “Have you seen Star lately? She’s a vision.”
Star is almost eight months, so it won’t be long now until we hear the pitter patter of tiny feet. Riot and Halo also had a little boy who they named Romeo, I think it’s the sweetest and he’s adorable.
“Oh, my God, who'd have thought you’d be a grandma to twins!”
I smile to myself. “I know! I can’t wait, though, I think they have their work cut out for them with two at once, but we’re all here to help out. I just hope Asher is prepared for a lot of sleepless nights.”
“He’s over the moon, the nursery is amazing, Deanna did a fantastic job.”
I pat my stomach. I came to terms with the shock of my pregnancy a while back, and though it was clearly unplanned, West and I couldn’t be happier. We’re planning our wedding after the baby is born. West still can’t believe he’s going to have a daughter. We couldn’t wait to find out the sex of the baby, both of us cried tears of joy the day we found out.
“She did, I’ve also hired her to work on ours because West insisted on making it really special.” My heart warms when I think about how tentative he was when we first found out we were expecting. He tried to wrap me in bubble wrap, but I wasn’t having it. It may have been a while ago, but I know how pregnancy works. Aside from a little morning sickness early on, it’s been a breeze. Our daughter is healthy and we both can’t wait to meet her.
“That’s so sweet of him.”
“That’s West, he’s always stepping up to the plate.” It’s hard not to sound like I’m floating on a cloud, because that’s exactly how I feel most of the time.
“You found a good one.” Her tone makes her sound a little sad.
“What about you?” I prod. “Anyone new on the horizon?”
She shakes her head. “I’ve been looking after my niece for a while now, so my priority has been her for the last little while. It makes meeting someone hard, but Olive needs me more, and right now I’m all she’s got.”
I smile sympathetically thinking about the little girl who landed on her doorstep recently. “How is all of that going?”
Amber has kept her private life on the down low from the club, and I suspect it’s because of a past she doesn’t want to re-live. I respect her privacy, but sometimes I feel like she needs someone to vent to.
“It’s… an adjustment, she’s confused.” Amber looks around, she has a look of fear in her eyes that concerns me.
So much so, I lean over the table, squeezing her hand as I say, “Amber, you know you can tell me anything. If you’re in some kind of trouble?”
Her eyes dart back to mine. “I’m not… I…” She swipes a hand through her hair. “I can’t go into it.”
“Okay, but if you need to vent, or need me to watch Olive I’m more than happy to do that.”
Tears well in her eyes and I squeeze her hand again. I certainly don’t expect the next words out of her mouth. “I… my home life wasn’t great growing up… I.” She glances around again. Amongst the bustling cafe, nobody can hear our conversion. Then she lowers her voice. “I escaped from a cult.”
My eyes go wide. “Oh my God!”
She takes a deep breath, her eyes closing for a brief second. “That felt good to say it out loud.”
“Is everything okay? When you say escaped…” I trail off, hoping she’ll fill in the blanks.
“It was a dark time in my life, I was lost and I had no idea what I was getting myself into, then again, I was fourteen when we went to live there with my older brother.”
“That’s awful.”
“Now this feels like my past coming back to haunt me in some way.”
“Is that why you have Olive?”
She nods. “My sister-in-law, Erica, said I was the only person she’d trust with her daughter.”
I raise my hand to my chest. “She just left her with you?”
“She had no other choice,” she whispers. “You don’t know these people, Audrina, they’re bad news, and I suspect it has something to do with that, or she’s in some other trouble I don’t know about.”
I frown. “Are you in danger?”
She shakes her head. “I have no ties here, nothing that could lead anyone to finding me, but now I have Olive, I’ve got to be even more careful. When we left, I had to change my name…”
“Oh, honey, I’m so sorry…”
She shakes her head, a tear escaping as she brushes it away. “She’s a great kid, but she’s ten going on twenty-five, she’s smart, too. I love her, I just don’t know when my sister-in-law is coming back or what the story is.”
“Why did she leave her with you and not say anything?”
She looks up at me, her eyes wary. “I have no clue,” her voice is low. “You don’t know these people, and I hope to God it isn’t anything to do with them. I don’t see how it could be. But it’s not a good place for children, or anyone for that matter. When I managed to get away, Erica and Olive fled with me.”
“Okay, so they could be in danger now? Maybe that’s why Erica left Olive with you?”
“I don’t know, but they were living in Missouri. We made it across the border from Illinois, and then I moved here. This was years ago. I thought everything was in the past by now.” She shakes her head at the memory.
“I just don’t understand why she didn’t say anything, or why she’d run without Olive.” It can only mean she’s in danger, or she’s gotten herself into some trouble.
“She said she’d be back as soon as she could, but that it was better for Olive to be with me until she could return. It reads just like it did when we were in the church…”
I let her have a moment. We don’t need to fill every second with words, and it’s clear she doesn’t want to be peppered with questions.
“Oh, honey, I’m so sorry. This must be really stressful for you, and for Olive.”
“She’s really confused, but her mom told her she was going away for a few weeks, and that she’d be back for her soon.” Amber’s voice breaks as she fights back tears. “You have to understand, Erica and I were like sisters, we bonded…”
“And your brother? I’m assuming he’s still in Illinois?”
“In the cult?” she laughs without humor. “You got it.”
“You know you could let the MC know, just to be sure and to keep Olive safe.”
She chews on her bottom lip, playing with the menu in front of her. “I don’t want to do that.”
“What about Bronco? You two are friends.”
She levels me with her gaze. “You said you wouldn’t say anything.”
“And I won’t,” I maintain. “I promise, but if anything leads these people to New Orleans…”
“It won’t. I made sure to cover my tracks. I’d never put Olive in danger.”
“Okay.” I try to not let my voice shake, but when kids are involved in stuff like this, it hits harder. “Anything you need, just let me know, but don’t keep all this bottled up. I’m here for you.”
She nods slowly. “I appreciate that. You’re the only one I can really talk to about this stuff. I know if I told Deanna, she’d tell Cash and then they’d be sending out a search party for Erica and tracking down my ex and my brother in Illinois.”
“I take it your ex wasn’t happy with you leaving?”
She chews her lip again, pinching her chin at the same time. “No, he wasn’t.”
“I’m honestly happy to help out watching her if you need to work, whatever you need.”
“I appreciate that, thank you.” She smiles gratefully then grabs the menu. “That was depressing, let’s order.”
All through our coffee date, I can’t stop thinking about her ordeal and what will become of little Olive. It breaks my heart that little girl will be pining for her mom as well as being confused about the whole situation.
As we’re leaving, West appears with Manny in tow, Dominic; Brew and Haze’s cousin and the chef from the Whiskey Shack and the new chef, Arlo. The four of them have been going over the new menu, but when West spots me he jogs over.
“Hey, Amber.” He smiles, his hands around my waist as he kisses my forehead.
“Hey, Hustler,” she replies.
“Everything okay, beautiful?” He nudges my nose with his.
“Everything’s perfect.”
His hand moves over my belly. “How’s my little princess?”
I chuckle. “She’s very active today, actually.”
He grins. “Just like her daddy.”
“You two are so stinkin’ cute,” Amber sighs. “I wish I could stick around but I’ve got to get to, uh, somewhere before three.”
School pick-up.
I turn to her. “Okay, sweetie, remember what I said, any time of the day or night.”
West moves so we can hug. “Thanks, Audrina. You’re the best.”
She leaves and West frowns at me. “What’s goin’ on?”
“Nothing you need to worry about. Just girl talk.” It’s not my story to tell, and from what I’ve heard, Amber and Olive aren’t in any immediate danger.
He brushes my hair behind my ears. “You look pretty.” His eyes meet mine and I can see the glint of mischievousness there. Once he got over the initial shock, and the idea he wasn’t going to hurt me or the baby, our sex life resumed. He can’t get enough of me pregnant.
“West, we’re at work.”
“Correction, I’m at work. You’re supposed to be takin’ it easy.”
I roll my eyes. “I can still type on a computer.”
“You can still sit on my face, too, but you wanna be all prim n’ proper.”
My eyes grow wide as I slap his arm. “West!”
He still gets off on shocking me. “I wonder what the chances are of knockin’ you up again once the baby’s out?”
I gape at him. “Hold your horses, mister, I think one little surprise is quite enough for the time being.”
He pulls me into his arms, not caring we’re in the middle of the coffee shop. “Did I tell you today I love you?”
“Yes you did, right after that other thing you did.” I smile at the memory, my cheeks coloring just a little bit.
He bends to whisper in my ear. “I love findin’ new positions to fuck you in.”
I grip his bicep. “West, I’m warning you.”
He laughs. “My Little Peach is gettin’ fiery, you know I don’t mind that.”
“It’s not that,” I sigh. “Now Arlo’s moved in upstairs, we can’t go and get busy at the drop of a hat.”
His chest rumbles with laughter. “I think I need to get you home.”
I reach up onto my tip-goes, pressing my lips to his. “I think so, too.”
I wrap my arms around his neck, feeling lucky to have him in my life. Our new chapter is only just beginning, and I feel like a queen whenever I’m with him.
No matter what happens, this fresh start for the two of us is a gift. And I wouldn’t want it any other way.
West
Two weeks later
I hang the picture in the nursery, happy with the way it looks. I want our baby to know how much her parents love her, so I’ve framed a picture of the two of us, my hands on Audrina’s belly, leaning against my motorcycle.
Tilbury yaps at my feet and I scoop her up in my arms. “What do you think she’ll think about this?”
The dog barks in my face and I laugh. Tilbury has certainly come out of her shell. Ever since we bought this new place together and she has a yard, she hasn’t stopped wagging that little tail of hers. Sometimes I pinch myself that this is my life, and oftentimes I wonder what I did to deserve a woman like Audrina. She’s given me everything that I ever wanted and then some.
After her kidnapping, I admit that I went a little overboard where protecting her was concerned, but can one blame me? Nevada was completely on board, and unknown to her there isn’t any time in the last few months where she hasn’t had a prospect, or someone from the club, making sure she’s safe. She spends a lot of time with the club girls, and that makes me feel better when I have to work. I may want her to always have her freedom, but I also can’t risk anything happening to Audrina, or our unborn child. The fact that I’m going to be a dad to a baby girl blows my mind. A daughter. My heart warms when I think about all of our plans together as a family and the things I can teach her as she gets older. Priest is beside himself, he can’t wait to welcome a sister into the fold, and once Nevada got over the shock that I knocked up his mom within a month of our first date, he came around to the idea.
It’s happening. While I wanted to sweep Audrina off her feet and marry her immediately, she asked to wait until after the baby was born and I wanted to respect her wishes. She’s been married before, I get that, but I haven’t and I want to make her my wife.
We’ll be married in Deanna and Cash’s rose garden behind the clubhouse, Priest will do the honors since he’s an ordained minister, and our baby will be center stage.
When I hear movement behind me, I turn to look over my shoulder. Audrina is behind me in a sundress, her stomach — now that she’s well and truly showing — is adorable with little sunflowers all over it.
“West? What in the world?”
I stand back, letting her see the photo. “Do you like it?”
She hugs herself. “I love it, you’re so thoughtful.”
“I just wanted our little girl to know how much we love and want her.” I beckon her to me and she pads across the carpeted room.
The house we bought needed some minor renovations so we wallpapered the baby’s room and put new carpets in all the bedrooms. Whatever Audrina wanted, not that she’s a demanding woman, far from it. But I want to give my girls the best of everything.
“I’m sure she’ll know that from the minute she’s born.”
I cup her face, kissing her softly. “How was your day?”
“It was long, this heat.” She fans herself. “It’s nice to get into the air conditioning.”
We’ve been having some high temperatures, and I’m happy more than ever that we have a pool so Audrina can cool down when she needs to.
“Don’t overdo it, Mama Bear.”
She giggles when I move my hands down to her belly. “I won’t.”
“I mean it.” I stroke her. “I don’t want the two of you overheatin’.”
Her voice is soft. “We won’t.”
My dick hardens when I cup her tits, full and rounder than ever. “Can’t wait to see what milk tastes like.”
She bites her lip as she laughs. “West, that is, ugh, so gross!”
I grin. “Nope, I don’t think it is.” I massage them gently, knowing she’s been tender. Her whole body is changing and I love every single damn curve. “These are bigger.”
Her eyes fall closed as I undo the tie behind her neck, pulling her top down to reveal her very large, very round breasts. “ West. ” It’s like a plea, and I love every minute of her needy, breathless panting.
“Probably shouldn’t fuck in the baby’s room, bad ju-ju or somethin’.”
Her eyes snap open. “Is your mind always on the pepperoni?”
“Nope. It’s always on these titties.” I cup them both as her head lolls back. Playing with her body has also changed, and I can’t get enough of finding new ways to please her.
I walk her backwards until her back hits the wall, my mouth at her neck I whisper. “Daddy wants to fuck you bent over the couch.”
“Oh, West.”
I lift her into my arms, carrying her from the room as I lay her down on our huge sectional. Then I rip her dress from her body from the waist down. She looks so sexy in tiny panties with her protruding belly. I palm my dick over my jeans and groan. “You’ve no clue what you do to me, do you?”
“Hurry, West,” she pants.
I rub my chin, debating how we do this, then I tug my shirt over my head and my jeans and underwear follow next as I tug my cock; it’s heavy and needy to be inside her.
“You’re a naughty little wifey,” I murmur. “Teasin’ me like this in cute little dresses when I know inside you’re beggin’ your ol’ man to fuck you senseless.”
“You’re so dirty,” she breathes.
“Sit up and suck my cock.”
She gasps, but pushes up onto her hands as I round the couch and stand, my dick at the perfect height in front of her face. I move it to her lips, painting my precum over her mouth as she groans. Her hand gripping me at the base as I hiss. I slowly feed myself into her mouth as she takes me, spread eagled and panting as I move slowly in and out of her mouth. “Touch yourself.”
She does as I say, moving one hand between her legs as she plays with her pussy. I groan watching her hand, her swollen tits bouncing as I thrust a little deeper. Her gag reflex by now is second to none. I guess practice does really make perfect.
“I can’t wait to make you my wife,” I groan. “What does my Mama Bear think about that?”
Yeah, I’ve added a new nickname to the list because it suits her. “I want it,” she pants as I pull out for a second, then slide back in. “I want to be your wife, Hustler.”
I groan at the use of my biker name, my balls tighten and I pull out before I come down her throat. “On your knees, baby, ass out.” I help her move as she grips the back of the couch cushion and I rip her panties from her body and hold them in my palm.
I can’t wait any longer, I feel between her legs to make sure she’s wet enough and insert two fingers inside, her moan telling me she’s ready. “So wet,” I grunt as I line up. “Your pussy is weepin’ for me.”
I take my time moving inside her slowly. Long gone are the days where I’d put her across my knee and be rough during sex, but that’ll come back when the baby’s born. She’s already told me she misses it. I just don’t want to do anything to potentially hurt our baby. It’s a miracle that she’s even pregnant now she’s almost forty-seven.
“Oh, that’s good, baby,” she whines when I thrust gently, seated deep inside her. I pull out, repeating my actions, slowly inside and thrust when I’m deep.
“Your body’s so sexy.” I grip her ass cheeks, letting go of her panties. “I love how it’s changin’ every single day.”
“Oh!”
I move a little faster, but drawing out her orgasm is my new favorite pastime. And when it’s slow like this, she comes really fucking hard.
Her head flung back and her ass pressing against me, I quicken slightly as she falls over the edge, calling my name as I fill her with my cock. I’m not gonna be long behind because this is what she does to me without even trying, just by being her.
“Baby,” I grunt against her back. “I’m not gonna last with this tight pussy squeezin’ my dick.”
Her hand moves between her legs as she circles her clit and when she cries out again, I’m spilling inside her before I know what’s even happening. Stilling, we’re both panting like we’ve just ran a marathon, and then I realize I didn’t come prepared. I pull out slowly as she sinks to her ass and rolls over.
“Be right back.” I run to grab a washcloth, cleaning myself up quickly as I return to wipe her clean.
“You’re so good to me,” she sighs.
I kiss her forehead. “We’re always gonna be like this.”
“Even when the baby’s crying and needing my attention?”
“Even then.”
“What about those sleepless nights?”
“I can get up to her, this is a team, Peaches, and you’ll be needin’ your rest after she’s born.”
“Do you have to be this sweet?”
I snuggle into her neck, dropping the washcloth and hand towel onto the coffee table. “No, I don’t have to be, I could also be a deviant if you’d like?”
She laughs, kissing my chest. “I think we both know you’re a deviant most of the time.”
“That’s true, but when I see you lookin’ the way you do, I can’t help myself.”
“Glad you like the curves, because I’ve put on so much weight.”
“You look fantastic, everyone thinks so.”
“As long as you think so.”
I place her hand on my dick back at half-mast. “Gettin’ ready for round two.”
She laughs, exasperated. “I can’t take you anywhere.”
I pull her into my arms. “Naked on the couch at four in the afternoon with the air conditioning on, this is exactly what I call a perfect way to spend our time. Outside is overrated.”
She kisses my cheek. “I can’t wait to meet her.” Her hand splayed on her belly has tears forming in my eyes all over again. Nobody told me I’d be an emotional sap in my old age, but I don’t give a shit. The lump in my throat when I think about my girls and our future has me feeling like I’m the luckiest man on the planet.
“Me too, she’s gonna be perfect, just like her mama.”
“I love you, West.”
The words, even though we say them every single day, feel like it’s the first time. “I love you, too, Peaches, I wanna be a good husband and a father…”
She shuts me up with a kiss. We talk about this all the time too, and my reservations about fatherhood and if I’m gonna fuck up. My beauty always reassures me, and I know it’s from the heart, but I really do wanna be everything they need.
“You already are,” she whispers. “You’re the best man I know, nobody could be more perfect than you, Daddy.”
I press a kiss to her forehead. “You’re forgettin’ yourself in that equation; you’re the one who’s perfect, I grow more in love with you every day.”
She sighs, utter contentment in her movements as she hugs me with both arms. “So do I.”
“Forever,” I murmur.
“And ever.”
