Chapter 9 Flynn

Now

Ignoring my aching body, I blink, still too shocked to work out what has happened. My head spins as I look around from my seated position. I remember now where we were: the lane, the cows and then that noise, that light.

Only something doesn’t make sense at all. I’m not where I should be. This isn’t right.

My breath hitches: something huge has happened and I’m suddenly frightened.
