FELIX
“It’s like a copy and paste,” Alfie observed as we looked at all the omegas as they entered the ballroom with their mates.
“Regrets?” I asked, knowing damn well we’d never take back our omega.
“Not a single one.”
“Good, because I’d end you before I parted from her,” I threatened.
“I can’t believe we almost had something like that, something so boring.” Alfie shook his head. “We were idiots.”
“Hell, half the time I still think we’re idiots.” I laughed.
“But you’re my idiots,” our omega chimed in as she approached. “What are we talking about?”
“Nothing, love.” I smiled wide, letting my hand reach out and grab her hip, pulling her towards me and leaning in for a kiss as my palm found her stomach. The curve of it had become my obsession. Knowing that she had our child in there, that her body was the reason we’d become a true family, was so damn hot I felt like I was on her twenty-four hours a day, every day of the week. I was constantly hard around her.
“We’ve still got a few hours left of the night,” Luka reminded us as he approached. “Might want to stay off our omega for a while because once you get started…”
Our omega pushed me away, a giggle echoing around me as she laughed. Her laugh was the sweetest sound I’d ever heard. I took her hand and kissed the back of her knuckles. “You’re really looking beautiful, omega.”
“I’m a house,” she sighed and rubbed her stomach.
“Absolutely not. You’re carrying my child,” Luka growled. “You’re perfect.”
She smiled up at him, offering him a wink. Omegas rarely caught a child on their first round of mating. But when was our omega ever like any other omegas? Two weeks after Luka brought her back home to us, our omega’s temperature rose, her body preparing to incubate our young. Then, our omega became so sick that even Luka was pacing back and forth until the doctor confirmed that she was with child and that was, in fact, normal.
Normal? Absolutely not. Watching our omega suffer was tearing us up, but somehow, she made it past the point of feeling ill, and one morning, she bounced up, ready to start her day like nothing had happened to her.
It had been a few months now, and watching her blossom and grow as her body morphed and carried our child was intoxicating. Why had no one ever told us how strong omegas truly were? What her body could endure in such a short time, all to grow our unit, was incredible. How she could walk around with a living being inside of her was?—
“Felix.” Sydney poked me. “You’re staring at me again.”
I blinked a few times, not realizing I had dazed out. “Sorry, omega. You’re just looking so damn beautiful.”
She squeezed my hand before pulling me toward the buffet of food. “I hope I look beautiful shoving food in my mouth because I’m starving.”
“Didn’t I feed you like two hours ago?” Alfie mused.
“That was two hours ago, Alfie.” She rolled her eyes.
“Oh right. Our little alpha is a hungry one.” Alfie smirked.
“Our omega,” she corrected before she paused, looking serious. “You’d love it even if it was an omega, wouldn’t you?”
“We’d love it more,” Luka confirmed. “Especially if it looks just like its mama.”
“Would you still love it if we end up with a beta or a delta?” I reversed the question.
“Felix.” She scowled. “You know I don’t care about what we have.”
I knew she didn’t, but I still liked teasing. “Well, omega, I certainly can’t wait to find out. Come on, love. Let’s feed you, dance with you, flaunt you, and when we are done, take you home and fuck you.”
A coy smile spread across our omega’s face before she sighed contentedly. “I want nothing more, Delta. Not a single thing more.”
