Epilogue
After Madison and I make up—in the best and hottest way possible—our relationship becomes and remains solid.
As time goes on, it continues to grow stronger.
We grow stronger.
Sure, we have our occasional spats, but we always find constructive ways to resolve our disagreements without running away from them.
There are no more stupid misunderstandings either.
We both tell each other everything—the good, the bad, and the ugly.
One thing we talk about—a “good” thing—is our living situation.
We spend time at each other’s houses, but Madison is at my place more than I’m at hers. We decide it’s silly to keep going back and forth, especially when we’re this much in love.
So we decide to move in together.
“Should we live in my house or yours?” I ask, because I want it to be her decision.
Without hesitation, she says, “Definitely yours. It’s bigger, it’s nicer, and I love being there.”
And so it’s decided—Madison moves in.
I give her free rein to decorate differently or change things around. But she only makes a few minor changes.
When I ask her if that’s it, she says, “Yeah, I think so. I pretty much like the way everything is right now.”
“I do too,” I share, taking her in my arms.
And I do, in all areas of my life.
I like how well our hockey team is doing right now.
I like that I’m contributing and racking up points.
I like how my relationship with Madison is progressing so smoothly.
I like that she just moved in.
I like everything so very much.
But mostly, I love Madison.
She truly is my life.
And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
She’s my today, my tomorrow, and my always.
I love you, babe.
