“Umm…Daddies?” The hesitant voice yanks me out of sleep, and I almost shove Noel off the couch. His sharp grumble lasts only a moment before he’s fully awake. We both struggle to sit, but by the time we do, Robbie seems calmer, although his blush hasn’t left. His hair is tousled from taking a nap when his hair was still wet.

I smile and gesture for him to come closer, drawing him to where he stands between my legs. “Mmm. How did that sound to you?”

“Umm. It actually sorta sounded good? A little awkward.” His blush deepens. “But like it’s meant to be, maybe?”

“Good.” Noel joins the conversation. “Remember, this goes at your pace. If you’re not comfortable with that yet, we don’t need to go there.”

I want to smack Noel, even though he’s right. Instead, I draw Robbie into my arms and kiss his forehead. “How are you feeling after your nap?”

“Good. Rested. For once.” His shyness makes me warm all over, and I want to cuddle him while he’s in this mood.

“I’m happy to hear that. Now, why don’t you sit and watch some television with Noel while I make dinner?”

“But…don’t you need help?” Robbie bites his bottom lip, rocking from leg to leg.

I hug him close and rub my hand down his back, repeating the action until he finally relaxes. I move back and caress his face. “No, I want you to rest and let your Daddies take care of you. I’ll get food and Noel will be here with you.”

Nudging him over to Noel, I stand up to head toward the kitchen, ready to make us dinner. I listen to the quiet murmur between the love of my life and the man rapidly becoming essential to us both. I can’t help smiling at the thought of finding everything we ever wanted. It only took a snowstorm to have it.

I set about making a pasta sauce, figuring that would be the easiest. Not only that, but if Robbie is a Little, then pasta would be an excellent opportunity for him. Humming under my breath, I almost dance with my excitement, especially as I hear giggles coming from the living room. Peeking over, I see Noel sitting down with his tablet and Robbie fully engrossed in what looks to be some sort of cartoon.

It doesn’t take long before I have dinner finished, and as I plate it all, I notice the TV being shut off. I’m just putting it on the table when Noel and Robbie come into the kitchen. Robbie’s cheeks are flushed again, but this time, it’s from excitement and not embarrassment. I nod toward the kitchen sink, and Noel guides Robbie over to wash their hands as I sit down, waiting for them to join me at the table.

“Did you have a good time?” I ask Robbie as they sit down. Blinking his eyes, he shakes his head before nodding. Chuckling, I respond, “Is that a yes or no?”

“It’s a yes. I don’t know how to explain it. It was like sinking into happiness. I wasn’t really paying attention to the outside. Normally, my mind is going a million different directions, worrying, trying to figure out what I’ll need to decide. But this was fun. I feel bad that I was probably really boring company to Noel and I didn’t help you and…”

I rest my hand on his to draw his attention toward me. “No, you did exactly what we wanted you to do. You let go and let us take care of everything. That’s a great sign. You may be a Little based on your reaction to the bath and cartoons. We’ll find out as we go.”

“A Little?” He stares at me dubiously. “And what exactly does that mean? Because if it’s diapers, I’m a hard pass.”

Noel’s shoulders shake as he tries not to laugh. We can already see Robbie coming out of his shell and it hasn’t even been a full day. I wonder who exactly he’ll become with us taking stress off him.

“No, there are different types of Littles. And not everyone does diapers, etc. It’s what fits you. That’s the whole point to these types of relationships. Everyone’s relationship, including kink, will be unique.”

Robbie doesn’t say anything, moving his attention to food instead. I take my hand back and focus on eating, but I raise an eyebrow at Noel. He exudes confidence and I let my worries drop away. What we can do for Robbie, Noel also does for me. It’s a balancing act that fits us perfectly.

We don’t talk about anything else serious during dinner. He tries to ask us questions that we have to sidestep at this point. Even though it’s snowing dreadfully outside, I’m fairly certain dropping the ‘oh, we’re assassins and enjoy killing people’ conversation would make him run.

There’s still time to talk about it. Especially since our next job should be Cameron. His cruise returns in nine days. That’s enough time to explore this with Robbie and still have that fun conversation. One that hopefully won’t cause him to run.

By the time dinner is finished, Robbie is already drooping, his eyes blinking rapidly as if it’s hard to stay awake. I gather dishes and Noel joins me to clean the kitchen down. Robbie stays in his seat, waiting for instruction like a good boy.

“I’m not sure why I’m so tired,” Robbie grumbles. Noel and I exchange a tender look as he continues. “I didn’t even do anything. And I had a nap.”

“Maybe it’s because your body is finally learning to relax. We’ll make it an early night. Maybe snuggle on the couch with a movie before we all go to bed.”

“I like the sound of that,” Noel responds, squeezing my shoulder as I place the last cleaned dish on the drying mat. “Come on, Robbie, let’s go find a movie for us all to watch.”

Noel puts on a mindless action movie as we sit down on the couch with Robbie between us. I grab the flannel blanket from the edge of the couch and wrap it around us, enjoying the sound of his excitement. He’s the perfect snuggle size in between Noel and me. I shut out everything and let my own mind wander.

It doesn’t seem like long before Noel is shaking my shoulder. Blinking rapidly, I meet his amused stare. He nods to the ending credits of the movie before gesturing to Robbie and me. “You both conked out on me. Let’s get you both to bed.”

Yawning, I nod. “One of the best offers I’ve had today.”

Standing up, I groan, my body protesting from the weird position I’d been in. Swooping down, I pick Robbie up effortlessly, following Noel to our bedroom. Robbie only wakes up enough for us to strip him down to his boxers before we bundle him in the bed, each of us sliding next to him.

“I wonder what tomorrow will bring,” I whisper to Noel.

I can’t see Noel’s smirk in the darkness, but I can hear it in his voice. “With the man between us? I’m not sure, but I guarantee it’ll be eventful.”

Lapsing into silence, I get comfortable holding Robbie with my hands entwined with Noel’s. Eventful? Yeah. I can see that. I’m looking forward to every moment.
