They say when you meet the one you’re meant to be with you’ll know.

And I did.

From the moment I laid eyes on her.

I’m sure people say that all the time. But for me, it’s a little different. Before Bella, I never felt a connection with a woman, and I’ve never found a woman I wanted to have beside me. I sure as hell never let one get close to me.

And as I watch her walking toward me, in her beautiful white gown, I know without a fucking doubt that this is the woman for me.

This woman is my soulmate.

I never loved before her, and I’ll never love after her.

And I know how fucking lucky I am to have found that in her.

Her long dark hair is down and curly, her lips red and her gray eyes smoky. She looks like a goddess.

As I stand in my suit, in front of the arbor by a serene lake, I don’t feel nervous. I feel excited. We’re surrounded by all our loved ones, our family and friends, and I’m glad they are here to share this special moment. A moment I never thought I’d ever be having.

“You look beautiful,” I say as she stops in front of me. I can’t think of a better word, beautiful seems too tame, but maybe there’s no words to describe what she is to me.

“Thank you, you look very handsome yourself,” she says, smiling up at me. The light she has in her eyes when she looks at me, I never want her to lose that.

We say our handwritten vows to each other, followed by I do.

“You can kiss the bride,” the celebrant says, and I kiss Bella like I won her. I dip her backward, putting on a show for the crowd, who all cheer loudly.

And then we walk down the aisle, the wind blowing her hair for the photos, the smiles of everyone we love greeting us. I can’t wait to get her home to peel that dress off her.

My wife.

Sometimes the beast can turn into the prince and get his happily-ever-after.

But the best part is when she loves you as the beast more.
