This is Scott Lively, the official Witt-Nolan reporter, with an exclusive report on the wedding of the century.
I met this amazing couple last year in the midst of a whirlwind romance, a successful international tour, and a hectic football season.
I was blessed enough to be named as an exclusive Allie Witt reporter months before this from StarStream Media, but that didn’t mean I would ever get the chance to meet her in person.
Imagine my surprise when I got a call that Allie Witt herself agreed to a sit-down interview with her boyfriend, Blaze star running back Theo Nolan.
Not only did I have the distinct pleasure of meeting these two in person for an exclusive interview back in February, but Allie herself invited me to the PMA Awards, where I got to witness her making history from the front row with her third Entertainer of the Year award.
Since then, Allie has been gracious enough to share with me many of her exclusives.
Her engagement to Teddy, as she calls him, a selfie of the two of them sent to me via a sweet text message that said, Can you see me over the bling of my ring? A backstage look at her international tour and even a sit-down at the recording studio as she worked on her new album, Soulmate , which is being released today.
But all of that pales in comparison to the exclusive she gave me this time, and I’ve never been more excited to report a news story involving our favorite pop princess.
Today is her wedding day.
A day that Allie and Theo have purposely kept media-free, the location even top secret to the guests they invited to keep it from being leaked.
Their guests, including me, were instructed to report to an airport to be flown to an undisclosed location.
As much as they both love and adore their fans, this couple wanted this day to be about them, and I don’t think anyone can blame them.
Except they allowed me to record video, take pictures, and write about the most beautiful day I’ve ever seen.
The marriage of America’s sweethearts was something out of a fairy tale—the end of this rom-com that we’ve been jonesing for since the first day Allie showed up at a Blaze game and turned the world on its ear.
Allie stunned guests—and her groom—in a custom-made strapless bridal gown from Ellie Blake.
The fitted dress showed off her flawless figure and the long train added to the dramatic effect.
She wore her hair curled around her face and a long veil that matched the length of her train.
Teddy wore a custom gray pinstripe suit made by Eryc Johnson.
It was a star-studded event.
Most of Teddy’s teammates and his coach were in attendance.
Bailey Lee, Allie’s best friend, was the maid of honor, and many other artists and teammates’ wives and girlfriends that Allie is close to were there as well.
When the ceremony started, the instrumentals were written and recorded by Allie.
When Theo spotted Allie, he immediately sobbed.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the place.
The vows were extremely personal and will not be repeated—but let me just say that the trend of crying at this wedding continued.
I have never witnessed with my own two eyes such palpable love between two people.
When they were pronounced husband and wife, Teddy held Allie’s arm up and cheered, and the crowd reciprocated.
Then, the party began.
These two love to enjoy life, and enjoy it they did.
The drinks flowed, the music slayed, and the party was lit.
Theo and Allie, the newly married couple, did all the traditional things, but in true Allie and Theo fashion, they put their own spin on a lot of it.
Theo danced with his mom and Allie’s, and Allie did the same with his dad.
Allie sang a new song to Theo, one she produced for the new album she never told him about.
It was the title track of the album, also titled Soulmate , and once again, there wasn’t a dry eye in the place.
Allie barely made it through the song.
Emotions were high, and for good reason.
Everyone at that wedding knew what they saw in these two, and it was summed up in the title of Allie’s album— Soulmate .
By the time the party ended, it was in the wee hours of the morning.
Partygoers stumbled to their rooms at the resort, but not Theo and Allie.
They took off down the beach to enjoy the last moments of this day together.
I didn’t follow but instead sat by the fire and waited for them to return.
When they did, the flush of love was evident on both of their faces.
When they saw me, they sat next to me to recap what will no doubt be considered the best day in their lives—so far.
I asked them what was next, and a secret look passed between them.
I had seen this look once before when I asked them this same question the first time I interviewed them.
The answer they didn’t give me then was the inevitable engagement and marriage.
Now, I could only imagine what these two superstars had up their sleeve.
Whatever they do and wherever they go from here, Allie Witt-Nolan and Theo Nolan will take it on together.
Theo put his arm around his wife, pulled her closer, and said to me, “You’ll just have to wait and see, man.
Our story is just beginning.”
