45. Chapter 45
Chapter 45
-Annabella-
I wasn’t sure how Kace would earn back my trust, but in just those few days following the party, he was incredibly attentive, making me and my well-being his priority even over work. It showed me a side of Kace I hadn’t seen before, yet I remained uncertain if I could fully trust him again.
My sister and even my parents had been calling incessantly, but Kace had taken charge, disclosing everything to them. He assured them that if I chose to pursue legal action against Zac and his friends for assault, he would ensure I had the best lawyers. This seemed to intimidate my family into silence. They stopped calling after that.
I knew proving my case would be challenging—it would essentially be a “he said, she said” situation, despite having one eyewitness. Zac’s friends could easily back up each other’s stories, and I doubted my parents would support me in this fight. So, for now, I found solace in hiding out at Kace’s house, though I remained shaken and unsure of my next steps.
That all changed when Kace found me outside and handed me a helmet.
“What is this?” I asked with a little smile.
“We are going for a ride. Now that I can actually show you that I can drive,” he stated proudly.
“You still drive?” I inquired.
“Why wouldn’t I?”
“Well, considering your accident,” I clarified.
“I’m not someone who gets scared that easily.”
I wished I could say the same, but all I did was accept the helmet. We suited up with more gear before heading to his expansive garage filled with motorcycles. Kace selected one and helped me up behind him before I wrapped my arms around him, and we drove outside.
I had no clue how Kace knew this was exactly what I needed, but as I leaned into him during the ride, I started to feel better. I felt alive again, a smile spreading across my face. It was exhilarating, especially when he began to drive very fast. When we returned to the house, my heart still raced with excitement, no longer weighed down by fear and shock.
I dismounted first before we removed our helmets. The moment he took his off, I pulled him close and kissed him passionately. He looked surprised, but I didn’t give him a chance to think. I kissed him again, and things quickly escalated. We discarded our gear, and Kace erased the memory of Zac’s touch from my mind. All I felt was him, his lips tracing over my skin.
There was no time to undress completely. Kace shifted our positions, leaning me against the bike. He lifted my leg slightly and entered me, eliciting a small scream of pleasure from my lips. It felt incredible. I had missed his touch and the way he made love to me.
He thrust deeply, our urgency increasing with each moment. He reached between us, teasing my clit until I climaxed hard, panting against his mouth, feeling amazing once more.
He wasn’t far behind, whispering my name as he came. We clung to each other, trembling slightly. I smiled, feeling much more at ease.
“Did the ride turn you on?” he whispered in my ear.
“It definitely did something to me,” I confessed.
“I will remember that,” he told me.
We pulled away and got dressed before we walked inside. But instead of going to the room we stayed in, he led me upstairs, letting me see the old one he used to sleep in.
“How about we move up here again?” he asked.
“I think that would be a good idea,” I agreed.
He smiled at me, bringing me closer to him and wrapping his arms around me.
“I know I fucked up, but I will spend every day trying to make that right because I did fall for you, Anna,” he admitted. “I want you, and I want us to stay married.”
His words made my heart beat faster, and I could only say I wanted to stay with him too. I pulled him closer to kiss him and convey my feelings for him.
“I still don’t trust you,” I told him.
“I know, but tell me you still love me,” he pleaded.
I chuckled, smiling at him.
“I never said that,” I teased.
“Say it then,” he urged.
“You go first.”
“Okay, I love you,” he admitted.
I felt my heart beating even faster, and I kissed him hard again. “I love you too, but my trust you will have to earn.”
“I will,” he declared.
“Kace…” I whispered, feeling how the fire in my veins was spreading. I looked down between my legs, finding him there, licking my pussy and smiling up at me, knowing how crazy he drove me.
I couldn’t get enough of what he was doing to me, and I called out to him again, wanting him to make me come. But he was playing with me this morning. He had woken me up with kisses all over my body, making me burn for him. Then he was down between my legs, the fire spreading fast. “Oh please…”
“When I want you to come, you can,” he told me.
“Kace!” I complained, but he would not listen.
It had been a few blissful days together since that ride on his bike, and our desire for each other had reignited. Seeing him walk now was still a bit surreal, and adjusting to what he could do to me now was a whole new experience. But I was beginning to accept it as the new normal.
“Oh God, please!” I begged, wanting to come.
“How badly do you want it?” he taunted.
“So bad!”
He moved away from me, and I whimpered. I watched as he sat on his knees, telling me to come closer with the wave of his hand. I moved to him, crawling. He fisted my hair, bringing me closer to his hard cock that was leaking at the tip.
I licked him clean before I went down on him. I heard him hiss with pleasure, and he began controlling my head, clearly on edge. The pace picked up fast, and he hit the back of my throat over and over until he groaned darkly, coming down my throat.
I swallowed it all before moving off him, smiling up at him. He smiled too before leaning closer and kissing my lips. Then he told me to turn around. I did, and he moved behind me, enjoying me from a new position.
“Shit! Kace!”
He was not holding back, licking my pussy and sucking on my clit until I was coming hard. I shook and called out his name over and over while I clutched the sheets.
He kept pushing me until I couldn’t take much more. I was about to plead for a break when there was a knock on the door. I froze completely, as did Kace. We both turned to the door.
“Yes?” Kace inquired.
“Your grandfather is here,” I heard Mariam say on the other side.
“Shit…” Kace didn’t look happy, and I understood why. Hadn’t that man messed enough with our lives? Kace ran his hand down my back before kissing my shoulder, then turned my head and kissed my lips. “I will be back in a moment.”
I shook my head. “No, we are both going.”
He smiled at me, nodding, and we got off the bed before we got dressed and went downstairs. It was time we sent that person back to whatever dark hole he came out of.
-Kace-
It was finally going better between Anna and me, and now he showed up again! I was going to send him away from here, that’s for sure.
We walked downstairs, finding him outside where Anna and I usually ate, looking smug as he enjoyed the breakfast. But then he noticed Anna at my side, which made him appear less happy.
“Oh, I see she is back,” he remarked.
“She is,” I told him. “And clearly, you didn’t get the message when I didn’t respond to your calls.”
“I was just trying to help,” he assured me.
“You tried to ruin us, and now I want you to leave.”
“Kace—”
“No, don’t you fucking get it? I’m done with you!” I yelled at him. “I do not want you here. I do not want you near my wife, and I'm never fucking marrying that woman! I have a wife, and that will never change.”
I felt Anna’s hand tighten in mine, and I turned to her, seeing her smile so sweetly at me. But then I heard my grandfather rise. I focused on him, seeing him shift his eyes between us, looking very displeased.
“You will regret this,” he warned Anna.
“Actually, I won’t. Now you can go,” she snapped.
“You heard her,” I told him.
He glared at us both, but we weren’t divorcing, and if my lie hadn’t broken us apart, nothing would. He walked past us, not saying another word, and stormed from my house. Anna and I sat down and turned toward one another.
“I’m guessing he won’t give up that easily,” she chuckled.
“So what? I don’t care what he does. I have you,” I told her, seeing how sweetly she smiled.
“Yeah, you do.”
“Oh, and I was the one who told Cody to lie. Don’t be mad at him,” I informed her.
“If I can forgive you, I can forgive him,” she assured me.
“Have you talked to your parents?”
She shook her head. “No, and I don’t need to. If they want to have a rapist in their family, let them. I’m not part of that family anymore. They will have to deal with it themselves.”
I smiled proudly at my wife. God, I never imagined we would end up here. When she left me, I feared it might be the last time I’d see her, but it wasn’t. Anna had shown me her strength and loyalty beyond measure. Now, it was my turn to prove myself to her.
