LUCY

M y eyes flutter closed against Ethan’s shoulder. He’s slick with sweat, and his sweet aroma fills my senses. I breathe deep as my body relaxes against him.

I’m no longer a virgin. The thought makes me smile. I had no idea it would feel this good. I thought the sex I read about in books was exaggerated, but either Ethan is extremely skilled or I’ve been missing out all this time.

I didn’t realize I would come so many times, and I also didn’t realize I’d feel an emotional pull to my partner. Would it have felt this good with Rob, my planned hook up?

As I stay pressed to Ethan’s shoulder with his arms wrapped around me, there’s no denying that this part is as enjoyable as the rest of it. I fit into him like we were made for each other. But I guess that’s nothing special. Any man and woman will fit together.

“Are you okay?” he asks softly.

My head is spinning and my body is limp from exhaustion, yet there’s still a fire inside me. Something that wants to do it again and again while I have the opportunity.

“I think so.”

I lift my head from his shoulder, and he’s looking at me with genuine concern. “You didn’t break me, if that’s what you’re worried about.”

He smiles at me, and damn he’s good looking when he smiles, his face unlined and carefree. “I get the feeling you don’t break easily, Lucy.”

I sit back and wince as my ankle brushes the floor. In the heat of the moment, I forgot all about my sprained ankle. I think I kept it off the floor, but I really have no idea.

I slide my other leg to the floor and climb off Ethan. He catches me around the waist and stands up, then gently pushes me onto the chair.

“Let me clean you up.” I glance down at the blood on my thighs mixed with slick fluids. Yup, I’m most definitely not a virgin anymore.

Ethan takes a packet of wet wipes from his backpack and crouches next to me. He wipes me clean, his touch gentle compared to his rough hands on me earlier.

“You need to eat and drink something.”

He hands me a bottle of water and an energy bar and finds what’s left of my clothes. He pulls on his t-shirt, and I feel bereft as it slides over his muscular torso. I don’t want it to be the last time I see his body; I don’t want it to be the only time I feel him pressed against me.

“Can you make it to the bed on your own?” Ethan shakes out the blanket and puffs up the pillows.

He clearly has sleep on his mind, but I want something else. I want something more.

I bite my lower lip, and my cheeks heat with what I’m about to ask. But we’ve come this far. May as well go all the way.

“Can we do it again?”

Ethan stops with a pillow in his hand, and his smoldering eyes fix on me.

“I mean, I know it’s not what we agreed, but…”

Before I can finish the sentence, he discards the pillow and strides over to me. I stand up to meet him, leaning on the chair for support.

“I’ll make love to you all night if that’s what you want, Lucy.”

He trails a hand over my cheek and catches a strand of hair in his fingers. It’s hard to breathe when he’s this close. His intense gaze drills into mine, and my knees feel shaky.

He’s awakened my body, and I won’t feel satisfied until I’ve had him again. I don’t know if this is normal. I don’t know if this is what he expects from a one night stand. My experience with men is limited, and I don’t know if he looks at every woman this way, but right now I don’t care. I feel special under his gaze. I feel sexy and wanted.

I run a hand over his chest, feeling the taut muscles under his t-shirt. “If you don’t mind. I’m not experienced. I hope it wasn’t too bad for you.”

“Lucy.” It comes out as a growl. “It was perfect. You’re perfect.”

I let out a sigh of relief. He wants to do it again, so I must be doing something right.

“This time, we’re doing it in bed.”

He takes my arm, and I hobble the few paces to the bed. He pulls back the covers, and I sink into the mattress. Ethan gently lifts my leg and places it on the mattress.

“This time, we go slow, and you keep that foot elevated.”

I scoot over on the bed, and Ethan kneels next to me. “No acrobatics, Lucy. I don’t want that foot getting bumped.”

He slides a cushion under the ankle and keeps a light grip on my leg. “You’re going to lie right there and let me take care of you.”

I sit up on my elbows and watch him. “Do we need to wait?” I have no idea how the mechanics of the male body work, but I’m pretty sure he’s not going to be able to go again straight away.

Ethan raises his eyebrows at me. He pulls his shirt off and his underwear. His dick pops out as hard and straight as the first time. “We don’t need to wait.”

As he says it, he creeps up the bed. His hand slides up my leg, causing heat to course all through my body. I try to sit up, and Ethan tuts at me.

“No moving, Lucy. Your ankle’s being knocked enough.”

“But I want to touch you.” My fingers itch to run over his body, to tangle in his hair, to pull him close to me.

“You’ll get your chance, but for now, I’m doing the touching.”

I rest back on my elbows and let the sensation of his hands exploring my body overwhelm me. Slowly, his fingers trail over every part of me. He doesn’t seem to mind my chunky thighs or the rolls around my belly.

He takes his time caressing me, his fingers trailing backwards and forwards over my thighs, then creeping up over my belly and torso. I’m still wearing my bra, and this time he unclips it and I shrug it off my shoulders.

I’ve never been this exposed to anyone before. But I trust him with my body. Instead of feeling vulnerable like I thought I would, I feel powerful. I feel safe.

Ethan palms my breasts in his hands, teasing the nipples with his fingers. I thrust my chest forward, wanting more of his touch. My pussy is throbbing and I shift my hips forward, wanting him to touch me down there.

But he continues his slow exploration of my body.

“You’re beautiful, Lucy. So fucking beautiful.”

No one’s called me beautiful before, and my heart swells at his words. It’s only what men say in the heat of passion, I tell my stupid heart.

Ethan’s probably done this with countless other women, said these exact words, made every single one of them feel special.

The thought makes my chest tight, and I push down the soft feelings. It’s a one night stand. We’ve made a deal, and it would be stupid to think it means anything more. It’s just my inexperienced heart reacting to the intimacy.

Ethan’s warm mouth closes around my left nipple, and all thoughts flee my mind. I lose myself in the sensation of his warm mouth on my skin. I let myself go and live in the moment and let my body take over from my heart.

Ethan pauses to get the other condom from my backpack, and this time when he enters me it’s in a slow steady glide that fills me up. My back arches and my legs wrap around him, pulling him in deeper.

I grab his shoulders and cling onto this man, this stranger who has become my entire world for this one night.

We rock together, my soft cries mixing with his groans. His mouth finds mine, and our bodies press together so there’s no space between us. I lift my hips to meet his, forcing him deeper inside until we come together in a tangle of limbs and sweat, our cries echoing around the cabin.

When we’re finished, we lie side by side in the small bed. He pulls my body flush against his, and I fall asleep tucked into his side with his arm draped over me.

If this is what a one night stand feels like, then I’m a fool for waiting this long. But as I drift off to sleep safe in his arms, I suspect that I could have a hundred one night stands and it would never feel like this.
