Saturday, 1:24 AM

Dexter: Lucy?

1:38 AM

Lucy: Yes, Dexter?

1:39 AM

Dexter: Just making sure you didn’t give me the wrong number.

1:40 AM

Lucy: Crossed my mind.

1:41 AM

Dexter: Well, I’m glad it didn’t stick.

And thank you for a very entertaining night.

I never knew beer pong could be so…strategic.

1:42 AM

Lucy: It’s a competitive sport. Of course it’s strategic.

1:42 AM

Dexter: I guess I thought it was more of a throw the ball and pray for luck kind of game.

1:43 AM

Lucy: Such amateur mentality.

BTW, I believe I won that last round.

1:44 AM

Dexter: Ref said I won, fair and square.

1:44 AM

Lucy: The ref was five tequila shots deep with a feather boa and heart shaped sunglasses.

1:45 AM

Dexter: Where did he find that boa?

1:47 AM

Lucy: I don’t even know.

I demand a rematch. Or some other drinking game.

And a sober ref.

1:49 AM

Dexter: Like strip poker?

And I don’t know how I feel about people watching.

It’s a little creepy, no?

1:53 AM

Lucy: I meant a neutral party to make sure you don’t cheat, not an audience.

I don’t know how to play poker. Maybe Jenga or Twister.

1:53 AM

Dexter: Strip Twister sounds very interesting. And slippery.

1:55 AM

Lucy: Just regular Twister, Dexter. Or Uno.

1:56 AM

Dexter: Strip Uno sounds like fun too.

1:58 AM

Lucy: OMG. Never mind. Just know, the next drinking game we play,

I will be watching your every move. Like white on rice, baby.

2:00 AM

Dexter: Jeez, Lucy. I know you find me irresistible.

You don’t need a drinking game as an excuse to stare at me all night.

2:02 AM

Lucy: BYE.

Saturday, 9:58 PM

Lucy: You know I’m here for another day. I’m going back to Seattle Monday morning.

10:01 PM

Dexter: I’m aware.

10:04 PM

Lucy: If you wanted to hang out or something, I’m free tomorrow.

10:04 PM

Dexter: Dinner?

I’ll pick you up at 7?

10:06 PM

Lucy: My sisters are taking me out. Some self-serve ramen place.

And can we keep this a little on the DL? I’ll never hear the end of it if my sisters know.

10:08 PM

Dexter: Mum’s the word.

10:10 PM

Lucy: Would breakfast work? I can be at your place in the morning.

10:10 PM

Dexter: Sure.

Should I pick up a deck of cards?

10:12 PM

Lucy: I don’t know. Twister sounded more fun.
