When Sonny is put down by a Shebeast, there’s only one woman who can save him, Reecie. She grew up in the swamps, just like Sonny had but she’d lived on the streets of New Orleans with her Maman as a child.

After the Shebeast attack, Reecie goes back to her little swamp house and finds a message from her Maman.

It is brief and confusing and it tells them very little, but it leads them both to the city of New Orleans...

during Mardi Gras...Fat Tuesday. The place is crazy on this particular day, crazier than the Crescent City is even known for.

They get derailed a few times, but they continue on the trail to find her mother. Reecie is getting angry and desperate now, as they find no clues to what happened to her Maman.

Can Sonny convince her that this path she's on, could take her life—or will it take his?

When Elle Bête rescues her lover, Cade from the Hogans, Boomer and his bikers track him down to Elle Bête’s compound.

They just follow the blood trail, but whose blood they find, they do not know.

When they get to the compound, they find a mess.

The ground is stained with blood and body parts.

They walk through the entire camp but they don’t find Elle Bête or her lover.

They do find another person she left behind though, a young girl called Jovanne.

But who is she? Why was she left behind? Questions but no answers yet...

King sees something that he follows up on and he finds signs the cartel might be involved with whatever happened here. They take Jovanne back to Maudie’s to get the answers they need.

Can Harry save Jovanne from her fate?

When they went to the city of New Orleans, they met the Bratva, now the Bratva comes to them.

These Russians know how to fight but the Hogans teach them to fight Cajun style and anything goes in the swamp.

Life gets a little crazy once in a while but hey, as long as you are alive when the smoke clears that’s all that counts, right?

The evil group who call themselves The Flame head into the swamps to look for their missing men. This group has been powerful for a few years and they now believe they are unstoppable. To flush out all the people they think are hiding their men, they decide to burn it all down.

The problem with that would be...all the Hogans that are hunting them. No one torches their home. With the help of arrows and some Cajun tricks of their own, they are determined to get rid of this newest scourge.

And did we forget to mention that the massive swamp dogs and the gators are there in the fight as well?

Will The Swamps get Blown to Hell?

King, Shay and the Hogans are waiting for the Fat Lady to sing as trouble brews in the swamp. They do not know if things will blow up or if fire will rage through the land.

What runs through the land though can be human as a girl is running for her very life. Tannin Hogan sees her while looking for the firestarters. When he catches her he finds a huge surprise that turns his life upside down.

Good thing he and the rest of the Cajuns have Maudie in their lives. If anyone could solve the problem it would be Ms. Maudie.

I'm a ghost, don't you know?

When Mickey Hogan hears what he thinks is a ghost talking to him, it exposes a whole new danger for the swamp.

This ghost tells him that people are in the swamp and they want to kill the Hogans.

He doesn't know why she comes to him of all people.

He also isn't ready for the sight he sees when he finally meets her.

She had been hidden away for her entire life, just like her grandmother.

Maudie and Renee then have a story to tell the entire Hogan Family about their history and it isn't a good one.
