Chapter 1 – MARKED FOR DEATH

Chapter One

MARKED FOR DEATH

Indigo was born into the world of the Bloodhound Motorcycle Club, a place where curves were celebrated and respected.

As an enforcer for the club, she found herself in the middle of a dangerous situation.

The club had been marked for death by a rival gang, and it was up to Indigo to protect her sisters at all costs.

She had grown up in the club, knowing nothing else but the fierce loyalty and camaraderie that came with it.

Raised by her single father who was also a member, she had spent countless hours riding alongside him, learning the ins and outs of the club lifestyle.

Her curves had always been an asset, making her one of the best-looking women in the club.

But now, with the threat of danger looming, she realized that her looks might also make her a target.

Indigo was determined to do whatever it took to keep her club safe.

She patrolled the perimeter of their territory, her eyes scanning for any signs of danger.

She couldn’t help but feel a sense of apprehension as each passing day brought no news of the rival gang's whereabouts.

They were like ghosts, always just out of reach.

It was a hot, muggy night when Indigo noticed a sense of unease in the air. She could feel it throughout the clubhouse, like the before a storm. The hum of conversation died down, Steel looked at her. “You've got a hell of a death wish, you know that?” he said, his voice soft for the first time.

She glared at him, trying to break free from his grip. “Let me go,” she spat. “I haven’t done anything to you.”

He chuckled darkly. “Oh, but you have. You've marked our patch, and now you're marked for death.”

She stilled in his grip. “What do you want?” she asked, her voice quivering.

He leaned in close, his breath hot against her ear. “I want to protect you. To make you my wife, and all eyes turned to her as she stepped into the room. “Something's off. I can feel it in my bones,” she warned her sisters. “We need to be on high alert.”

Her words echoed through the clubhouse, and within minutes, the women were gathered around her, ready to hear her plan.

As the leader of their enforcers, Indigo knew just how to keep them safe.

She devised a strategy, splitting the club members into smaller groups to patrol different parts of their territory.

“We can’t let our guard down for one second,” she reminded them.

“We need to be vigilant and ready to fight.”

Hours later, Indigo found herself riding ahead of her group, her gaze fixed on the road ahead.

She was deep in thought, her mind racing with possibilities when she heard the faint sound of an engine behind her.

Instinctively, she knew that it wasn’t one of her club sisters.

She pulled over to the side of the road, drawing her machete and preparing for a fight.

As the bike came to a stop beside her, she watched as a man with tattooed skin, piercings, and leather-clad body, dismounted the bike.

He wore a black leather jacket with no club patch on the back.

Instantly, his intentions were clear. He was from the rival gang.

“Well, well, well. Look what we have here,” he sneered, assessing her form up and down. “Thought you ladies were all by your lonesome.” He took a step towards her, and Indigo tensed, ready to fight. “You’re Indigo, right?” His voice was low and threatening.

Indigo didn’t flinch. Instead, she lifted her chin defiantly. “Yeah, that’s right. And who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?”

The man laughed darkly. “You don’t need to know my name. All you need to know is that I’m here to finish what we started.” He lunged at her, but Indigo was quicker, sidestepping his attack and bringing her machete down hard on his arm.

He hissed in pain, his gaze shifting between fear and anger. “You’re not as easy to deal with as I thought you’d be,” he growled, clutching his wounded arm.

“Think again,” Indigo retorted, her voice cold and unforgiving. “The Curvy Girl Motorcycle Club isn't going down without a fight.”

The man hesitated for a moment, sizing her up once more. But then he shook his head, his eyes filled with contempt. “You’re nothing but a fool. Your club will be marked for death, and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.”

With that, he turned and sped off into the night.

Indigo stood alone on the side of the road, her heart racing and her mind spinning with what had just happened.

She knew that she had survived this encounter, but the question still lingered: was it just the beginning?

Indigo didn't wait around to find out. She quickly gathered her wits and made her way back to the clubhouse, where she informed the president of the incident.

Together, they devised a new plan to deal with the escalating threat.

In the days that followed, the Curvy Girl Motorcycle Club found themselves on edge, constantly scanning their surroundings for any sign of trouble.

They patrolled their territory like never before, ready to defend their home at a moment's notice.

Despite their vigilance, however, there were no further attacks from the rival gang.

Weeks turned into months, and still, the enemy remained silent. It almost seemed as if they had given up on their quest for vengeance. But Indigo knew better. She sensed that they were biding their time, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.

As the weeks turned into months, tension within the club began to rise. Many of the women were growing restless, longing for a return to normalcy. But not Indigo. She remained focused and vigilant, training harder than ever before in preparation for the day when they would finally face their enemy.

One night, as she sat alone in the clubhouse, honing her combat skills, Indigo felt a presence behind her. She didn’t need to turn around to know who it was. She could feel it - the same sense of unease that had been lingering in the air for weeks.

Slowly, she stood up and faced her adversary. It was the same man who had confronted her on the side of the road all those weeks ago. And this time, he wasn't alone. Behind him stood a group of heavily armed members from the rival gang, their eyes cold and calculating.

Indigo’s heart raced, but she refused to show fear. “So, you’ve finally come to finish what you started,” she said, her voice just as cold and unforgiving as his. “You should've known that we wouldn't go down without a fight.”

The man laughed darkly. “Oh, we knew that” he said, stepping closer to her. “But we also knew that you wouldn't be expecting us tonight.”
