Chapter 9

After parking on the street in front of Archer’s house, I met him on the front porch, my heart pounding in my chest. I was really doing this, hooking up with him. But it didn’t feel like a hookup, not after our date, not after keeping in touch while he was out of town and all the little check-in text messages we’d sent over the last few weeks.

He unlocked and opened his front door, swinging it slowly open, then peeked inside. “Looks like everyone is out or in their rooms studying.” He stepped inside.

I followed him in and shut the door behind me, my dick on high alert. I hadn’t thought to ask him if he topped or bottomed or what, and I hadn’t told him I’d never actually had anal with a guy. It didn’t seem like proper dinner conversation. I took a quick scan of their living room. There was an old green couch and matching chairs with oak tables and a wooden dinette that had probably been popular back in the 1980s. A lone lamp on one of the side tables lit the room. All hand me downs, probably.

Holding my hand, he led me to the left and down a dark hallway. Muffled rock music played from behind one of the doors. He ducked inside an open door and flicked on a nightstand lamp next to his bed. “Come in.”

I stepped inside. “Is this your room?” These guys were pretty quiet for being college boys, but then, I knew they had full days of classes, practice and workouts.

A soft click sounded as he shut the door. “Leo.” His throat dipped as he swallowed, his dark eyes wide under his wavy blond bangs.

“Yeah.” I walked to him and brushed my fingers up and down his arms, my dick swelling with anticipation.

He fluttered his eyelids closed as his breath quickened. “Kiss me.” His gaze locked on mine.

Wrapping an arm around his waist, I dragged our hips together, his hard cock pressing to mine through our jeans. Tension knotted in my gut. I bit my lip, then whispered, “Fuck.” I placed my palm on his neck and leaned in, crushing his mouth in needy kisses, our tongues dancing together.

With a whimper, he threw his arms around me and walked backward, pulling me to his bed. “Want you.” As the back of his legs hit the mattress, he freed me and tossed off his sweater, then hurried to unfasten his jeans, the splash of tattoos running down one arm and across his muscled chest on full display. I hadn’t even seen him with his shirt off yet and damn, it was a sight to behold.

I unbuttoned my shirt, then flung it to the floor, keeping my gaze affixed to him, now dropping his jeans to his ankles, hard cock tenting his briefs between his thick thighs.

As he made to lower his briefs, I grabbed his hands. “Wait.” He was going full speed ahead. “This isn’t a race, right?”

He peered at me. “Right.” With a coy grin, he stepped to me and planted kiss after kiss on my mouth, then down the column of my neck while unfastening my jeans, the tap of his fingers teasing my aching cock.

A moan rippled out of me as heat flashed over my skin.

He snuck his hand inside my underwear and stroked my shaft. “Fuck, Leo, can I suck on you?” Dropping to his knees, he peeked up at me, lips parted, and eyelids hooded.

“You most certainly can.” My dick pulsed, beading precum at the tip. Fuck if I was going to turn down a blow?—

Plunging his mouth over me, he pumped, grabbing the base with his fist. Moan after moan worked out of him, vibrating over my shaft.

“Oh, God, holy fucking hell.” Tensing my face, I tipped my head back, clutching at his hair. Sensation shuddered up my spine and my balls drew up. He was a pro at this.

While he devoured my dick, he slipped his hand into his briefs and stroked himself. After a moment, he pulled off me with a pop. “Fuck, too close.” He stood up and hooked his arms around my neck. “Leo, let’s get on my bed.” He pressed a hard kiss to my lips, grinding his hot dick on mine.

As he pulled me to the bed, I shucked my jeans down, kicked them off, then fell on top of him, our underwear bunched up around our hips, our cocks slotting together between us. God damn, he felt good underneath me. Rocking my hips, I rutted against him and bit at the soft skin of his neck, then his collar bone, raw pleasure humming inside me.

He slapped his hands on my ass and dug his fingers in, pressing us tighter together as we ground on each other. With sharp gasps, he pulled my ass cheeks apart. “Leo, top or bottom?” He snuck a finger between my cheeks.

Fuck, no one had ever gone there. I halted all motion. “Um, neither?” I lifted onto my elbows and hung my head, resting my forehead on his. “Sorry, guess I should have said something. When I’ve hooked up with guys, it was only hand jobs and blow jobs.” Did I ruin the mood?

He wrinkled his brows. “You’ve never had anal with a guy?” He raked his teeth over his lower lip. “Fuck, that’s hot.”

“I…okay.” My lips quirked. I hadn’t ruined the mood. “But we aren’t um, you don’t want to uh?—”

“I did, but I guess I don’t now. I don’t want to do anything you’re not ready for.” He tipped his head back and pulled me in for a lingering kiss. “We’ll have to work up to it.” He raised the corner of his mouth.

“That means we’re hooking up more than once.” Rubbing my thumb over his cheek, I gazed deeply into his eyes. I’d never hooked up with a guy more than once. This was completely uncharted territory for me. But who the hell was I kidding? We were starting something here.

He pressed his lips together. “I thought…I thought maybe we’d do this again.” He held still, his breath catching. “I want this, Leo. I want you. More than once and probably more than a few times.”

“Then kiss me some more and we’ll see where this goes.” Rolling my hips, I claimed his mouth with my own, showing him with my kisses that I was onboard. Fuck my brother and everyone else. No one had ever felt this right before. I deserved to have what Remy and Axel and all our friends had.

As he squeezed the globes of my ass, he groaned, and his dick jerked against mine. “Suck me off, Leo, please.”

With a smirk, I kissed and nibbled down his neck, then sucked a hard nipple into my mouth, while pinching the other.

“Oh, fuck. Yeah.” He arched his back, his cock lifting off his stomach, leaving a thread of precum.

I laved his nipple for a moment, watching goosebumps rise over his chest, then licked my way down the ripples in his abs and to his navel, flicking my tongue inside it. His body was so gorgeous, I wanted to taste all of him.

“Jesus, you’re a tease.” He peeked down at me, giving me an open-mouthed smirk, then tipped his head back with a low, guttural moan.

Creeping between his thighs, I fisted his thick cock, then ran my tongue over the crown, licking the pre-cum from his slit. The heady taste of him filled my senses and my own dick ached for attention.

Working his briefs lower on his thighs, I cupped his balls, rolling them in my fingers while I pumped him with my mouth, sucking so hard my cheeks hollowed.

He squirmed and moaned, thrusting in time with my bobbing head.

Flicking the underside of his shaft with my tongue, I took him down my throat, all the way to the back. I might not have done this as many times as he had, but I knew what I was doing.

With a sharp gasp, he shuddered and the skin on his thighs pebbled. “Come, fuck, coming.” He threw his head back with a guttural cry, his cock growing and jerking in my mouth. Hot cum spurted down my throat.

I lapped it all up, swallowing the salty taste of him, my own dick twitching between my thighs. Damn, I could come in an instant. As it slowed, I lifted my head, panting, and wiped my mouth with the back of my hand, then stroked my throbbing cock.

“No, leave it for me.” He bolted up in bed, then crawled between my legs and dropped down, swallowing me whole and moaning over my sensitive cock.

“Fuck, not gonna last.” While I sat on my legs, he stroked the base of my dick with his fist and sucked the head, then quickened the pace.

As pleasure crested inside me and my balls drew up, I clutched tufts of his hair and held on for the ride of my life. With sharp groans, wave after wave of sensation spilled inside me, curling my toes and shuddering sparks through my body, my dick shooting inside his mouth. “Fuck, so good, so fucking good.” As I calmed, I blew out a long breath and threaded my fingers through his hair, massaging his scalp.

He lapped at the head of my cock as if it were a lollipop. “You, sir, have a very nice dick.” He tipped his head to peek up at me.

“Really. Well, so do you.” What else was I supposed to say to that? But it was true. It fitted the rest of him, a little bulky, but lean. I tilted my head, watching him admire my dick. No one had ever done that before. He was entirely too far away from me. “Hey, come here.” I crept up the bed and lay down on my back against his pillows and his headboard, then shimmied off my briefs and threw my arm out to the side. “Tuck in here.”

“That looks cozy.” With a smirk, he slid his underwear off his legs and snuggled into my side, resting his head on my shoulder. “So, I want you to know…” He brushed his finger pads in a circle around my pec. “That I didn’t get anything out of my system.” Chewing his lower lip, he gazed up at me.

“Same.” No, having him only made me want to have him more. “Guess it’ll take more than once.” I chuckled. “Good thing we decided we have things to work toward.” Like…anal? Was I really thinking of doing that with him?

“Leo, tell me about your relationships. What’s the longest you’ve been with someone?” He halted the circling of my pec and rested his hand over my heart.

Here we go, the past relationships talk. I pressed my lips together. “I had a girlfriend in high school for about a year. That’s the longest. Then my most recent was this girl I dated for about five months. I met her on Tinder.” And I’d tried, I really had.

“Yeah? Tell me about her.” He nuzzled into my chest.

“What do you want to know?” I furrowed my brows. He’d better not compare himself to her. There was no comparison. I’d been wishy washy about her from the moment we’d met. “Her name was Alicia, and she was nice. We had a lot of um, well, coffee dates.”

“Coffee dates?” He lifted his head, peering at me. “Like chatting in coffee shops?”

I huffed a sigh. “Yeah, she didn’t drink alcohol much.” I twisted my lips. Should I tell him the truth? “The sex wasn’t very good, okay?”

A smile played over his lips. “Yeah? Not like what we just did?” He rubbed over one of my nipples.

A shiver threaded from my chest to my balls, and I squirmed. “Definitely nothing like this.” I thought more on it. “Like I said, she was a nice girl. Stable even, and had a good job as an accountant.” I shrugged a shoulder. “I was looking for a nice girl at the time. I’d had my fill of girls wanting to start drama.”

He lifted a brow. “Uh-huh. So, when’s the last time you hooked up with a guy and how did that happen?”

My cheeks heated. I hadn’t admitted this to a soul. “I um, made a Grindr profile after my brother deleted his when he found Remy.” I cut my gaze to the ceiling, my stomach stirring. There was no reason to be embarrassed about this, right? “I uh, last time I used it was probably right after I stopped seeing Alicia.” I’d wanted a guy bad after that. Was it because the sex with her was so vanilla?

“Really. I’m surprised I didn’t see you on there.” He lowered his head to my shoulder again and wrapped his arm over my chest.

“I wasn’t on there very much. I only turned it on…” I scoffed, rubbing the heel of my hand on my forehead. “Fuck, I only turned it on when I felt the need to be with a man.” How fucked up was I? It was all good when I didn’t have to say this shit out loud to another human being.

“Yeah, I get it.” He nuzzled his face into my neck. “I, like an idiot, thought I could find a boyfriend on that app.” He chuckled against my skin, leaving a tickle.

“You found Milo there, right?” I held him closer into my side, his body heat calming me. I wanted to think even less about him being with Milo now.

“I did.” He wrapped his leg over both of mine, his soft cock pressed against my hip.

Combing my hand through his hair, I said, “So, tell me about the longest relationship you’ve ever had.” It was time for him to be under the microscope.

He snorted a laugh. “That’s easy, maybe a month at most?” With a soft grin he lifted his head. “I’ve never had time for a relationship.”

“And you think you have time for one now?” I returned his grin. It was a valid question. Why now?

“I have time for a mature relationship, not one where two people need to be attached at the hip at all times.” His grin waned. “You don’t seem like that kind of guy. You have a life, friends you hang out with. You understand needing to give a person space and still know how to be there for them.”

“I…I do?” I blinked a few times, then narrowed my eyes. “And what if you’re wrong? What if I want to spend every waking moment with you?” I clamped my mouth shut. What the hell had I just said?

Pushing up, he pressed a lingering kiss on my lips. “Then I hope someday we get to do that.” He gazed deeply into my eyes.

My gut clenched at the same time my heart filled with warmth. Could I be the man he wanted? Brushing my hand down the back of his hair, I said, “Archer, I’m not out to my family or my friends.”

He dipped his head, then focused on me. “But you will be. Right? You’ll tell them eventually. When you’re ready.” The edges of lips twitched. “Right?”

I wanted to promise him the world, but I wouldn’t lie to him. It was too big of a commitment, too soon. As my chest pinched, I said, “I don’t know yet.”

His gaze dropped and he nodded, then tucked himself into my side. “I’ll wait. You’re worth waiting for, Leo.” He kissed my chest.

I held him tightly, my heart aching. I was an asshole for hurting him. “Tell me something about the game you have tomorrow night.” Maybe I could get his mind off it with his favorite topic.

“Um…well, we’re playing University of Denver at home.” He rubbed his cheek over my shoulder. “I can get you and Remy tickets again if you want?” He glanced up at me.

“Yeah? Let me see if Remy can get away from Axel again.” I skimmed my fingers over his muscled shoulder. “My brother is?—”

“Demanding, I know.” He chuckled. “But he and Remy seem to really love each other.”

“That, they do. I wasn’t sure I was ever going to see my brother in a committed relationship. And holy shit, when I found out they were dating I about lost my mind.” Huffing a laugh, I shook my head. “They tried to hide it from me for a while. Made up all sorts of wild stories.”

“Yeah? And where do they think you are tonight?” Raising his head, he threw me a smirk.

“Never you mind.” I tapped his nose. “They think I’m on a date. I didn’t tell them with who.” Fuck, I was as bad as they’d been. But, he probably needed to get some sleep. It was getting late. “I should go.” I made to get up.

He tugged me back down and lay over me, then devoured me in a needy kiss. “What if I don’t want you to go?”

With a smile playing on my lips, I said, “You need to get up early. Tomorrow’s a game day, remember?” I slapped his bare ass.

“Damn, that’s kinda hot.” He tongued the corner of his mouth. “Maybe you can spank me next time.” He chortled, then lifted off me.

“If that’s what you want.” Throwing my legs off the side of the bed, I rose up, then grabbed my underwear from the floor and slid them up my legs, tucking my junk in.

“Hearing you say that is even hotter.” He crawled to the edge of his bed and grabbed my hand, then kissed my knuckles. “Seriously though, it would be nice to have you stay over sometime.”

After pulling my jeans on, I turned to him. “Yeah, we’ll see how it goes, okay?” I combed my fingers through my bangs, working them off my forehead, thinking on what he’d said. “I can make a mean breakfast.”

“Yeah? I’ll bet you can.” He jumped off the bed, then snatched a pair of gray sweatpants from his dresser drawer. As he pulled them on, he said, “There are lots of things I want to get to know about you, Leo.” His gaze crept to mine.

“We have time.” As I stepped to him, I cupped the satisfying bulge in his sweats and pressed a quick kiss on his lips. “Now, walk me out.” Since this was a date…

“Sure.” He swung the bedroom door open, made to step out, then halted. “Oh, hey, Mason.”

Mason pushed the door wide open and looked at me with his ice-blue eyes. “So, what’s this?” He waved his hand between me and Archer. “You and Leo?” He narrowed his eyes and focused on me. “Aren’t you friends with Milo, the keyboard player that dumped Archer?”

“Yeah, sort of.” I side-stepped Mason and strode into the hallway. I wasn’t sure what Mason was up to.

“He didn’t dump me. We only dated once. It’s not like we were boyfriends.” He wound around Mason to come up behind me.

Mason twisted around, tapping his index finger to his lips. “But you wanted to be boyfriends with Milo. I remember that and after he dumped you, you played like shit.” He sauntered to us and came in close, his chest almost touching mine, his gaze hardening. “Dude, you better be careful with my Archie. He needs to be on point at the game on Friday.”

“Don’t you worry about that.” Hooking an arm around Archer’s waist, I kissed him hard, then released him. “I’ll make sure he has whatever he needs to play his best.” With a smirk, I opened the door and left. There I was, making promises. And in front of his friends, too.

After drivingthe short distance home, I strolled into the kitchen from the garage to find Remy and Axel sitting at our dinette, both bent over a book.

“No, it’s right here, Remy. See? That’s how you do it.” Axel’s gaze cut to me. “You were out late.”

I grabbed a bottled water from the refrigerator, chest tightening. What was I going to tell them? I’d been hoping they’d retired to their bedroom by now, but fat chance. “Yeah. It was um, fun.”

“So, who is she?” Remy chewed a mechanical pencil between his teeth, then set it on the table.

I shrugged a shoulder. “Uh, no one in particular. First date.”

Axel eyed me, a smirk forming on his lips. “You were out a long time for a first date.” He jumped up from his chair. “You must have liked her.” He strutted to me, winding around me, sniffing. “I’m getting the faint whiff of cologne.” He sniffed again.

“Stop it, Axel.” I shoved him away from me. Did I smell like Archer’s cologne? I hadn’t even noticed if he’d had any on, only his fresh-smelling shampoo.

Axel pulled on my collar, then flicked it. “No sign of lipstick. Aren’t you breeders supposed to have lipstick on your collars when you have a good time with a chick?” He snorted, then sauntered to Remy and stood behind him.

“Axel, quit being a smart ass. That’s only in the movies.” Remy scoffed. “What’s her name?”

“Um…” Shit…what name could I use for him? I raised the edge of my mouth. I’d fix them and use the name Remy gave me when he was dating Axel behind my back. “Angie.” I twisted the cap off my bottle and gulped the water down. I’d let that sink in.

“Angie? Are you serious?” Remy stood up, narrowing his eyes at me. “What’s she look like?”

Dropping the bottle to my side, I said, “I don’t know, wavy blond hair and sexy brown eyes.” I was really fucking with them now. As I swaggered to Remy, I said, “She’s really built, too.”

Remy hung his mouth open. “Wow, Leo. You sound like you’re really into her.”

With a hooked brow, Axel said, “Built? Like a brick house?” Holding the back of his hand to his mouth, he snickered.

“Yeah, like that.” I nodded and smirked at them both.

“You’ll have to bring her to our next gig. Maybe we’ll learn that song for you two.” Axel waggled his brows. “I’m sure Caleb would be all over that with the funky beat.”

“Oh stop, there is no way you’re going to talk the band into playing some seventies funk.” Remy shook his head, then patted Axel’s hip. “Let’s leave Leo to dream about his new woman and get back to this shitty assignment.”

Axel dropped into his seat beside Remy. “Fine. But Leo, if you’re going to beat off to memories of your new woman, please be quiet about it.”

“Don’t worry. I’ll only make as much noise as you and Remy do every night.” With a flip of my hand, I sauntered into the hallway, toward my room. I totally got them off track. But at some point, I might have to come clean.
