Chapter 17

Matthew can’t stop looking at my ass, which is a good thing. Means he’s interested in what it can offer him. The erotic possibilities are endless, the things I would let him to do it.

Oh god, it’s been so long since I’ve been fucked. It’s doing my head in.

I’m not complaining about what Matthew and I have been doing together so far. It’s been amazing, wonderful even, beyond all my wildest dreams. I could give him blow jobs for the rest of my life and be content, but the fact that he keeps biting his lip and eyeing my butt gives me hope that he’ll fuck it soon.

I would never rush him, but I’ve placed the idea in his head.

And it seems he likes it very much.

The little comments he’s made.

Do you really like being a bottom?

Would my cock fit okay?

Oh god, it’s making my little gay heart have hope.

And it doesn’t help that he hasn’t stopped touching it either—his fingers sneaking down to tap on the plug he placed in there as we cuddled out on the balcony under the stars. The pressure each tap put on my prostate had me in a constant state of arousal.

And then he insisted he be the one to take it out. Took his time with it too—pushing it in and out, envisioning that it was his dick sliding in and out of me, I’m sure. When it finally popped free, he slid his finger inside of me, making my eyes roll back in my head.

Oh god, just that little bit of him inside of me. I will probably expire from the feel of the real thing. I’ll probably cry, to be honest.

“How’s your butt?” Matthew asks as I shift in my seat.

He’s driving his Range Rover, and I’m lounging next to him in the passenger seat.

I turn toward him and grin. “Peachy.”

His cheeks blush that pretty shade of pink that I love.

“When we get back tonight, you can pick which plug I wear, if you want.”

He nods, his hands gripping the steering wheel tight.

“Yeah, I can do that.”

I grin, turning my gaze back to my phone, typing out a message to Patrick and Owen, letting them know what my plans are for this weekend. After that, I turn on some music, bobbing my head to the beat and watching as the traffic of the city gives way to the barren hills of the high desert.

It’s funny. I can totally see Sem living out here, blowing shit up and setting things on fire. He probably owns guns too. Probably a whole arsenal.

Hm, I should ask about that. See how safe we are out here.

I could see Sem murdering someone and burying their body far out in the middle of nowhere.

I shiver and then glance over at Matthew.

No way is that going to happen. Not when things have just started progressing between us. I deserve better karma than that. I am basically a saint.

After a while, the GPS leads us down a dirt road, and I stare at the emptiness around us.

“They really do live in the middle of nowhere.”

“Yeah, although, I did look this town up and there is a Walmart out here. Two actually.”

“Oh, well that’s high society for sure.”

Matthew grins at me and then looks back at the road. The bags of things are bouncing around in the back, all the seats down to accommodate all the stuff we brought.

“It is. I think you’ll fit right in, dollar-store boy,” Matthew says with a laugh, and I poke at him.

“I am the dollar-store boy. I’m obsessed with that place. I intend on going to one while I’m out here too.”

“You won’t,” Matthew says with a light chuckle. “I refuse to take you.”

I huff and puff and then grin at my husband.

Mine.

God, he’s so hot. Like the hottest. I reach over and touch his neck, watching as he arches into it. Love that he’s so greedy to be touched.

“Fine, then you’ll have to preoccupy me with other things. Like your mouth and maybe your dick. I can cope with that.”

“Deal. I’ll see what I can do.”

A one-story house makes an appearance in the distance, and Matthew comes to a stop before it.

“Is this it?” I ask, looking around. “This is…quaint.”

Matthew bobs his head. “Not everyone can afford to live on the beach, Cooper.”

I groan. “Oh, please don’t call me that. I don’t want to see Sem and Magnus with a boner.”

Matthew snorts and then steps out of the car, not a boner in sight. Well, must be nice for him. I follow him out, making sure to hide my hard cock under my flowy shirt. Thank fuck for fashion, I think as I link my hand with his and walk toward the house, but before we can even approach, Sem steps out onto the porch, his hair pulled back in a bun, his shirt off, showing off his very impressive muscles. His worn jeans hug his thighs, and I can’t help but let my appreciative gaze rake over him just once before I turn it back to Matthew.

“Got a good look?” he whispers, and I grin at him. “You have a little drool on your lips.”

“Oh, shut up, you insecure man. He’s got nothing on you,” I tell him, and Matthew rolls his eyes.

He doesn’t need to worry. Matthew is delicious. No one else compares, especially this barbarian who is shoving some Crocs and a ratty t-shirt on and making his way toward us.

“Where’s the shit?” he asks gruffly, and Matthew hands him the keys.

“Right. Well, Maggie’s inside with the kids and Emery and August.”

I have no idea who they are, but I can’t wait to find out. Anyone who is friends with Sem and Magnus have to be wild.

“You can go in,” Sem begins but then stops and says, “Actually Matt, you can come with me. Need your help.”

Matthew startles slightly and I cock my head, unsure of what Sem’s game plan is, but he just leads him over to the trunk of the car and loads him up with bags. Innocent enough, I think as I make my way inside. The squeals of children echo off the walls, and I wince slightly at the sound of it. I’m definitely not used to this.

My gaze takes in the neat space before me as I walk, the light wood floors and white walls. Hand-drawn pictures are taped up on every available space, and I know that this is a place where Sem and Magnus’s kids are loved. It seems like they’re the center of their world.

I turn the corner into the living space and see Magnus, sipping on what appears to be iced tea, next to a very handsome man with dirty-blond hair and green eyes. He’s wearing a polo shirt and light colored jeans. Right before him, on the floor with the kids, is a lean tattooed man with a smile on his face. His hair is in disarray and his shirt is hanging off one shoulder. Seems it got stretched out, probably from playing with these wild kids who are climbing all over him like he’s a jungle gym.

“Oh, hello, Cooper. Right on time,” Magnus says, waving me over toward the couches. “Come sit with us. This is August. And the guy on the floor is Emery.”

I wave to them both as I lower myself down on the couch.

“Very nice to meet you,” I say, and August nods toward me, his thumb twisting a ring on his wedding finger.

“Where’s Matt?” Magnus asks, and I nod toward the door.

“Sem pulled him aside. He’s helping him bring in the bags.”

“Oh, awesome. That’s just so thoughtful of you both. We can always use stuff for the classroom and new toys for our treasure boxes. The kids love it, really motivates them to do well.”

I look over at August, who is sitting quietly, watching Emery traipse the kids around on his back.

“So, are you two…” I ask, waving my hand between him and Emery.

August nods. “Yeah.”

Emery falls to the ground and turns over, tossing one of the kids into the air. They squeal at that and clamber onto him, asking for another turn.

“Good god, Emery, please be careful,” Magnus chides, but Emery is unbothered by it.

“I am the most careful! I never hurt anyone. Ever.”

He hops up onto his feet, trying to dodge the kids who are trying to cling to his legs, and runs straight into a wall, denting the drywall and making Magnus gasp.

“Oh god, I’m so sorry!” Emery cries. “I didn’t mean it. These goblins were after me!”

August just sighs and leans toward Magnus. “Just send me the bill.”

“Oh, you know I won’t. I know what inviting Emery over means. And it’s well worth it. The kids’ll sleep like logs,” Magnus replies with a smile and then stands up.

“You know what? Let’s leave the kids to it and go outside. I can’t think with Emery’s hollering.”

We all stand to leave and as we do, Emery shouts and a ball knocks into the back of my head. I glance over my shoulder and see Emery chasing the little ones down a hallway and can’t help but laugh.

“He’s good with them,” I say, and August and Magnus nod.

“Oh god, they love him. He really gets down on their level. It’s amazing.”

We take a seat on the porch, watching as Sem and Matthew carry bags into the detached garage, neither of them speaking. I can see the way that Matthew watches Sem, almost warily, and for a moment, I wonder if he’s uncomfortable, but then realize that Matthew will do just about anything to make a good impression. He doesn’t want this to go south.

“Sem has been waiting for Matt to get here,” Magnus says, taking a sip from his straw. “Was peering through the windows like a little kid.”

“Yeah?” I ask.

“Mhm, he has something he wants to show him.”

My eyebrows rise and I sit back in my chair, crossing my ankles and trying to appear casual.

“Something bad? Will I get my husband back in one piece?”

Magnus grins at me, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Oh yes, he’ll be fine, don’t you worry.”

I don’t know what that means, but I have to trust him. If this is what helps Matt get back in Magnus’s good graces then so be it. He’s been talking about doing more, showing up and making an effort, maybe this will fast-track it.

“Alright, just as long as he’s not traumatized.”

“He won’t be. Just some time alone with the fam. Sem really wants to make an impression.”

August lets out a small chuckle and Magnus grins in return. My eyes turn to Sem as he throws a finger over toward a hunk of metal that looks like a four-wheeler, and I watch as Matthew meets my steady gaze.

I blow him a kiss, and he blushes, ducking his chin and following Sem into the vehicle, strapping a seatbelt on. Well, at least it has seatbelts.

“Where is he taking him?” I ask, and Magnus slurps on his tea.

“Just a little shack in the middle of the desert.”

Good fuck, what does that mean?
