12. Raker

CHAPTER 12

Raker

I t took about two seconds after I rage-released in Angel’s pussy for me to regret what I had done.

Now that had just been goddamn stupid of me.

Putting my cock down anyone else’s throat or fucking other pussy just isn’t the same anymore. Sunni is the only one who really satisfies me, really draws that fucking cum from my balls and empties my sack.

Despite what happened, she’s a good girl really, my little sunshine, and even though I wouldn’t allow anyone else to even be on the goddamn property after doing something so foolish, I know she only did it because she cares so much.

She just needed to be taught a lesson and reminded about what her place in the world is. It is my job as President to make a good marriage and strengthen our club. Of course I’ll still spend most of my nights at the club with her even after I marry. I should have mentioned that to her before, but if I didn’t I’ll remind her so she’s not too distressed about my upcoming marriage. It won’t change anything between us.

So even though I just shot a load in Angel’s cunt, my eyes are still on Sunni as she leaves the room.

Even though she’s being a little shit who needs to be taught a lesson, I still don’t like her leaving like that.

But I’m the club Prez. I can’t run after Sunny, even though I want to.

So I light up a cigarette and lean back in my chair, pretending like my skin isn’t itching, wondering where she went and why she didn’t come back.

Angel was still around, hanging off my arm and whispering that she wanted to ride my dick again.

I shook her off impatiently.

“Get off me. Go fuck with someone else now.”

The only club girl I want riding my dick is Sunni, and I’ll tell her that as soon as she comes back out.

Shit, I was even bluffing about making her sleep in the common room. I just wanted to watch her squirm. I couldn’t sleep for shit without Sunni beside me. I need her there.

Apostle asks for a cigarette, too.

“Don’t get used to that,” I ground out harshly. “Sunni is still mine. That was just to teach her a lesson.”

Apostle nods, his face serene, but it’s slick with sweat and his chest is still heaving up and down. “You got it, boss.”

He’s right, but something about how he says it kind of pisses me off.

Something flashes into my mind.

Sunni saying, “I’m scared of him.”

There’s an uneasy prickling all over my skin.

Shit, maybe I went too far, letting him fuck her mouth.

I think about that look in her eyes again. Was that fear as she looked at me ?

I don’t want Sunni to fear me. She’s still my main girl, the one I want warming my bed every night, the only woman on earth with my mark on her.

Hell, I’d even marry her and make her my old lady if it wouldn’t lower my status.

Finally, I get up and go look for her. She’s not in the room. Not in the kitchen. Not in the backyard.

I run into Amira and Bridget in the hallway.

“Have you seen Sunni?” I asked.

“No,” Amira said firmly.

Bridget shook her head too.

There was something in their eyes, a flash of something I didn’t like, that made me uneasy. Was it because of Sunni that there was that quick flash of anger in their eyes before they dropped them respectfully to the ground?

Without saying another word, I whirled around and stalked down the hallway.

I needed to find her

Finally, I spotted Sunni out the front window.

She was outside with her backpack on the ground beside her, staring at the driveway with her arms crossed.

She didn’t turn around when I approached from behind.

I felt another frisson of unease.

“Come inside,” I said. “I want dinner.”

“Go get your dinner then,” Sunni says.

I frown. That’s not how she talks to me. Her voice is remote, cold, uninterested.

I move in front of Sunni, staring down at her.

She looks up boldly at me, arms crossed and hip jutting out.

I notice that her mouth looks a little swollen and I feel another pang of regret.

Fucking Apostle . But he never would have dared to touch her if it hadn’t been for me.

I’ve always had a hair-trigger temper and maybe it’s really fucked me over now.

“Are you ok?” I ask her.

There’s silence for a beat.

“No.”

I grind my teeth together internally.

“You came here to serve at my pleasure,” I remind her. “You agreed to service all the brothers.”

“I did,” Sunni said, but her voice is indifferent.

She’s not acting anything like herself. Usually she is eager, anxious for my attention, her eyes filled with love and light.

But there’s an expression in them that I’ve never seen before, and the light is. . . gone.

Maybe she’s worried that I really do want to kick her out.

“I’m not going to make you stay in the other room,” I say into the silence. “We can still share a bed as long as you promise to be obedient from now on.”

Sunni looks up at me.

What is that expression? Under the soft brown and golden flecks, there’s. . .something like hard steel.

I open my mouth to say something else, but she interrupts me.

“Keep it, Raker.”

Then her eyes slide past me down the road, and I hear some kind of noise coming. But I’m not worried about rival MC gangs. They’d never dare to take a big club like ours on.

“What’s wrong with you?” I ask impatiently. “I’m not angry at you anymore. I made my point very clear, I think. Now I want things to go back to normal.”

She curls up her lip at me.

“ You betrayed me . It’s not just that you fuck other women all the time. You swore to me that you would be the only one touching me.”

My breath catches in my throat.

She’s right. I did say that. That’s what I get for running my mouth instead of making it very clear what her duties were as club whore.

“You are here to serve at my pleasure, Sunni. If you don’t like it, you can leave.”

Of course, she’ll never leave. She loves me too much for that.

I’m not about to be led around by the nose by any club girl.

She puts her head to the side, like I’ve seen her do hundreds of times, but this time her arms are tight across her chest.

“You can keep your lies. Fuck you and your offer of staying in your bed. Get your cock wet elsewhere, because I’m leaving.”

Suddenly, behind me I hear the screech of brakes and the loud bark of a megaphone.

“Raker d’Sanguine, we have reason to believe you’re hiding illegal guns on this property. Put your hands on your head. You have the right to remain silent. . .”

Shit

And Sunni doesn’t give me another look, just walks past me toward the cop cars.
