I wake up and roll out of bed. I’ve been at the clubhouse for six days. Columbus Day fell on Friday this year so I’m getting a three-day weekend. Since Tex and I are on opposite schedules, I don’t get to spend much time with him. But that doesn’t keep me from fantasizing about him. Especially as the bed I’m sleeping in smells of him since we’re sharing the master bedroom. That might sound all kinds of wrong, but changing out the sheets every night is a waste. I’m a grown ass woman and I’m just grateful his club brothers let me stay here.
I have the suite all to myself at night—our original plan was for me to take this bedroom, Levi was to stay in the second bedroom, and Tex would take the sofa. As Tex is spending the nights at mine, it made sense that if he needed to catch up on sleep during the day he’d just use this bed. And since Levi’s been here, he hangs out with his friend Evan and bunks up in his room at night, so I’ve gotten into some sort of a routine.
Each day starts with a shower. The suite has a clean, modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower, big enough for two with a shower seat built into the back.
This is my favorite time of the day, it’s me time. I’m all alone and my thoughts are my own. Though to be fair, since I’ve been here, they’re all related to my sexy neighbor Tex. My mind drifts back to the afternoon I saw him shoot hoops with his son out on the back patio. He got hot and took his shirt off. Then I got hot watching him work up a sweat fighting over the ball. It’s hard to tell exactly how muscular Tex is by looking at him with clothes on, but bare-chested and sweaty, it’s like he’s sculpted from marble.
As I remember the large swells of muscles running down his ripped torso, I absentmindedly direct the showerhead between my legs. The water pounds against the side of my clit as I think about what it would be like if he touched me there with his long, thick fingers. I daydream about him fingering me and making me come. I just know that he’d be great at it, because he’s great with his hands.
The thought of him on top of me, holding me down while he kisses me, teases my nipples, and slowly feeds his nice thick cock into my pussy is too much. I pinch my nipples with my eyes tightly closed as I imagine Tex pulling them deep into his mouth. I come hard with his name on my lips and it’s absolutely wonderful. I lean back against the shower wall and try and catch my breath.
Eventually, I manage to get myself rinsed off more thoroughly and get out of the shower. My mass of red curls always holds so much water that I have to dry it with a towel several times and comb it out right away in order for the strands to lay right. Today is no different. I wrangle my hair under control and put on a pair of black dress pants and a fall sweater along with black boots.
Heading downstairs, I never thought I’d grow so comfortable at the Savage Legion’s clubhouse. Everyone here is super nice and polite. Tex was right about the prospects doing everything they can to take care of the brothers, their old ladies, and visitors like me. They cook the meals, mix our drinks, clean our rooms, and even do our laundry. There’s nothing for me to do except relax. I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t enjoy this brief little reprieve from adulting.
I’m planning to meet up with Tex and Wade when they come back from their nightly venture protecting my home and trying to figure out who’s stalking me. Wade decided that he wanted to do something to help the club, so he’s been joining Tex and a handful of prospects who spend the night at my house. My car alarm has gone off almost every night. They could disable it of course, but it’s more important to try to figure out who’s doing it. But so far, they’ve not seen any signs of the intruder. Last night for the first time my house alarm was also triggered. I honestly can’t imagine anyone being so obsessed with my house and car. It literally makes no sense.
Today, they come back excited. I have their breakfast ready and waiting, compliments of the prospects. Tex rushes over to me and gives a big hug. “We found out how they were setting off your car alarm, but not who’s doing it, yet.”
We all sit down, and I gush, “That’s fantastic news. I was starting to feel like it was a ghost.”
Wade murmurs, “I’m gonna let you tell her all about it, while I go to my room and call my kids.”
I tell him, “Thanks again for your help, Wade. I really appreciate it.”
“No problem.”
“So how were they setting it off?” I ask.
“It was someone who got the VIN number and had their own key fob made,” Tex says as he takes a bite of bacon.
My mouth drops open in shock because I never once considered the possibility of something so straightforward. “Wow, how is that even possible?”
“On a lot of models, including your vehicle, the VIN number is visible from the outside of the car, on the driver’s side of the dashboard, down low where the dashboard and windshield meet.”
“Surely, you’d need to show your vehicle registration to get that made? Otherwise it’s a huge security breach.”
“I ain’t gonna call y’all na?ve again, but let’s just say, money talks,” Tex gives a shrug.
“I wish I’d known, maybe I could have done something.”
“Don’t worry, sugar pie. We made sure it wasn’t visible anymore.”
“Lot of good that does me now. It’s like closing the barn door after the horses escape.”
His face gets a goofy expression, and he purrs, “Aw, how cute. Y’all are using ranch analogies. Are y’all tryin’ to speak Texas for my benefit?”
I give him a little kick under the table, which makes him laugh.
“Now, don’t be that way, darlin’. This is the first break we’ve had in this case. Zen’s gonna try to track down who got the key fob made. Once we have a name, this case will be solved in two shakes of a lamb’s tail.”
“I’m just really frustrated that something like was even possible.”
He turns serious. “It shouldn’t have been. Dealerships are required to verify ownership prior to making a replacement key fob. One of two things happened. Either your soon to be ex-husband gave them verification, which makes him your stalker. Or the person stalking you hired a shady locksmith. I’m still liking your ex for this whole stalking thing.”
“I can’t imagine him getting motivated long enough to pull this off, but he’s seriously the only person I’ve had any kind of conflict with for years. I hate to think it’s him, but it’s looking like it might be.”
“We thought about staking out his house to see if he leaves at night but since all evidence points to him hiring another man, it seems like sitting on Chris would be a waste of time.”
“Yeah, I get that. I know you’re doing your best and crimes aren’t solved overnight. I just want to get on with breaking this case so I can move on with my life.”
“How does that moved on life look to y’all?” he says.
There’s a hint of dark promise in his eyes, and my mind suddenly goes back to this morning as I came screaming his name. I decide to put it out there, “Maybe it contains a certain Texan…”
He grins. “Sounds good to me, darlin’. Look, we’ve had a rough past couple of weeks, Maybe, we can take a day and do something special this weekend?”
“Like what,” I ask, all kinds of interested.
