Prologue

“Mommy, please don't leave me,” I whisper, trying not to make any noise as mommy puts her hand on my head and places a kiss on my forehead.

“I'm not leaving you Aurelius, I'm just going to fetch sissy, just stay here with your brother,” she said, her voice shaky, as a tear fell down her cheeks.

I hide and curl up beside my brother. A loud bang comes from the kitchen and I cover my eyes with my hands.

Through my eyes I can see mommy, she's holding little Astrid in her arms but she can't stop crying.

A big man stands in front of her and she tries to hide Astrid behind her.

The man hits mommy, she falls on the floor with Astrid beside her .

Get up you whore, you are one fucked up bitch who separated me from the love of my life. The man says holding mommy by her hair.

Mommy makes a loud crying noise but she doesn't scream. She stands up and looks at Astrid, who is now laying on the ground with a red liquid beneath her.

Daddy comes in and smiles at the man. Why, why would they do this to my mommy. The man gives daddy a kiss and mommy falls to the floor holding Astrid in her arms.

A loud scream leaves mommy's mouth and she starts violently shaking.

Bang!

Mommy laid still on the ground with daddy and the man laughing.

I can see a pair of black boots stomping in my direction. A belt dangles, hitting his shoes as he takes more steps. He lifts up the table cloth and gives me a smile.

"I found the other two little bastards." He says and the room feels with laughter.
