Epilogue

Two years later

Declan

C oraline stands in the kitchen wearing a loose white chiffon dress shirt and a pair of my boxers, she's cooking some scrambled eggs and bacon, Rose stands next to her and rubs her pregnant belly.

She's six months pregnant with our baby boy, she's laughing with her best friend and my heart is melting. She's mine, she's my wife, she looks even more beautiful carrying our son. I walk into the kitchen and smile, "Morning baby" Coraline says sweetly, I walk over to her and kiss her forehead while stealing a piece of bacon off the plate.

"Morning, my love." I say. Rose shoos me off and I sit down at the white marble kitchen island, "You're going to give my son a fucking headache rubbing her stomach like that" I say to Rose, "Argh fuck off Declan, everyone knows I'm Coralines baby daddy" she argues, we all laugh.

After killing her brother, Coraline didn't eat for 4 days and she didn't say a word in two weeks. She cried herself to sleep for months and often started fights with me just so that she could throw a few punches at me to let her frustrations out, and I let her.

She slowly started to heal and she started forgiving herself, even though I told her she didn't have to forgive herself for anything. She started to piece herself together and rationalise her choices, she came to the conclusion that she made the right choice, and she started sleeping peacefully.

Tyler was a piece of shit, he stole her whole life from her, and she realised that. I look at her today and I see that she's brave, and capable. She's the strongest woman I know and I'm so proud of how she's moulded her life, even though I implanted myself in it. Rose leaves the kitchen to have a shower, and I walk towards my pregnant, glowing wife.

I kiss her lips softly and I steal a moan from her lips "I want this baby out of you as soon as possible, just so that I can put another one inside of you." I say, she laughs hysterically against my lips and I can't help but kiss her again.

"I agree," she says sweetly.
