13. Elena

They talk amongst themselves as we ride to the penthouse he mentioned. But I stay quiet, hoping that if I fold into myself, they’ll forget I’m here. I still can’t believe there’s three of them. I didn’t know that was an option, but I guess it makes sense now with some of the questions they asked on the questionnaire. That should’ve been my first clue.

“Virtue.” I hear the name Edward gave me being called again. But this time it clicks and I turn my head, attempting to find the owner of the husky voice.

“Huh?” I know I sound out of it. This whole evening has me so discombobulated I don’t know how to act. But mostly I’m freaking out about losing my virginity to one of these three men. Will I even be any good at it? Will it hurt?

“That is not the proper answer. It will always be Sir. Try again.” The older man’s deep voice makes me squirm in my seat, my sweaty legs sticking to the leather seat.

Shit. Please don’t let them notice!

“I’m sorry. Umm. What did you say?” He glares at me as he clears his throat. “Sir.” Biting my lip, I lower my eyes to my lap. Something about saying that excites me.

“That’s better, Little Mouse. As I was asking, are you hungry?”

“No,” I pause, but quickly add, “Sir.”

He gives me an approving smile that has me blushing, wanting more. A smile, praising me for giving him what he wants, has my body on fire.

“Are you sure? The way your stomach is growling is telling me differently. Did you eat prior to coming tonight?” he questions. “I saw the tray of appetizers in your room, but they barely looked touched.”

I look away from him, glancing out the window so I don’t have to see any of them. How do I answer them?

“Little Mouse, I need an answer?”

“Well, I worked today, so when I got home, I had to hurry and get ready for tonight. I was so nervous I couldn’t eat, and then I tried to eat some of the food there. But each time I tried, I felt like I was going to be sick,” I ramble quickly, still not wanting to look them in the eyes.

“When was the last time you ate, Cookie?” the older of the two younger ones asks. I was so nervous when they were introduced I can’t remember their names, only that they started with a K. What were they again? Fuck me.

“Cookie?” His tone is more stern this time.

“Sorry, it was last night, I think. Maybe yesterday afternoon. I can’t remember.” It’s not a lie.

“Sunshine, you’ve got to eat. It’s the first thing we’re doing when we get to the penthouse. And I’m Kyrian. That’s Killian.” My eyes widen, and my jaw drops. How did he know? “I’m not psychic. But I can read facial expressions well. I saw how you were squinting your eyes and the wrinkles forming on your forehead. I just assumed you were trying to remember our names.”

“I was,” I admit softly.

“Thank you,” Liam tells someone on his phone. When did he make a call?

“There will be food waiting when we get there. You will eat and while you do, we’ll go over your hard and soft limits provided in the information they gave us. Seeing as you are a virgin, I’m assuming you answered some of them without fully knowing what they were. We will also need to know the extent of your purity. Are you completely untouched, or have you experienced some things?” Liam’s voice stays calm and collected and oh so hot.

I go to open my mouth, but he raises his hand, and I immediately stop. He gives an approving nod, and fuck if my pussy doesn’t throb. Is this normal?

“We can discuss everything after you eat.”

I nod and turn my head to the side, leaning back against the seat as I stare out the window. The vibrations of the car lull me, and my eyes become heavy, fluttering open and shut until eventually they just stay closed.

I don’t know how long I’ve nodded off for but their voices catch my attention, more specifically one in particular.

“Come on, Uncle, I want to take her virginity,” one of the younger men pleads. I’m not sure which, and I’m afraid to open my eyes.

“And why should you get that honor? Why shouldn’t it be me or your brother, for that matter?” I know that’s Liam. Even if he didn’t give it away with the words he spoke, or that the sound was coming from right beside me, his deep timber voice would.

“Please. I’ve always wanted to be with a virgin, and since this is my first auction, I thought the point of tonight was for me. I don’t mind sharing her, especially after what you told me, but it’s on my list,” he tells him.

“List? Killian, do you know what this list is that he’s talking about?” Okay, so it’s Kyrian who’s talking and wants to be the first to sleep with me. He does look closer to my age, and he’s not hard on the eyes, so it wouldn’t be that bad.

“Yeah, he has a sex list. It’s full of things he wants to do and he’s been marking them off since he lost his virginity. Him being with a virgin is on it.”

I shift, my neck beginning to ache at the angle it’s in.

“We’ll discuss it later. It seems my little mouse is eavesdropping on our conversation. A punishment may be in order when we get to the penthouse.” With Liam’s words, I open my eyes and sit upright, nervous about this punishment he spoke of.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to eavesdrop. I just didn’t want to interrupt, Sir.” Sir. It just rolled off my tongue so easily, so naturally. Why does he even want me to call him that? Does he see it as a term of respect since he’s older?

“So perfect isn’t she, boys? A novice and she caught on so quickly.”

The car slows, just before making a turn into a skyrise. This must be where the penthouse is. The car pulls into the parking garage and heads straight to the back, stopping in front of an elevator.

No one moves until the door opens, as if by magic. I’m not that clueless. I know it’s the driver, but damn, what a way to live where everything is done for you.

Liam gets out first, then extends his hand into the car for me. I take it as he squeezes it firmly and I step out onto the concrete. My legs feel like jelly not only from sitting for the ride, but from the nerves, and I stumble, falling right into his firm chest. He doesn’t make a sound, unlike the dying owl screech that comes from my mouth.

I’m so embarrassed, I don’t even notice the other two have stepped out and are beside us now.

“Let’s go,” Liam’s hoarse voice orders, as his hot breath blows the stray strands of hair that have fallen into my face.

He takes a step, pulling me behind him like a little girl who”s in trouble. He did say I need a punishment. I can feel the heat rising to my face and lift my free hand to touch my cheek to see if I can feel it. I don’t. Why is my body reacting this way to that?

“What’s the matter, Sunshine? Are you thinking about what’s about to happen up there? How much you’re going to like being fucked to exhaustion?” Kyrian’s voice comes out playful, and fuck if it’s not sexy as hell.

“Umm…” I’m not sure how to answer that. Should I be truthful? Just laugh it off? It’s not like we all don’t know what’s going to happen. I mean, they did buy me at a sex auction that I willingly signed up for.

“Kyrian,” his brother growls. Fuck, that was hot too.

“It’s okay. I’m nervous, you know, virgin and all.” He shouldn’t be mad at his brother. He merely asked a question, I’m just too bashful to answer. Because is it wrong to admit all those things he said were one hundred percent true?

“I’m just not sure what to do,” I add, hoping they get the picture, as we stop in front of the elevator door and Liam pushes the button.

“Aww, Sunshine, we can help you with that. We know exactly what we like and what’ll have you drifting into the stars.” Kyrian strokes his hand up my arm and I can feel the hairs standing on end.

The doors slide open with a swooshing sound. We enter two at a time and turn around. There are no buttons in the elevator, just a keypad. Killian enters a series of numbers and the doors shut just before we begin moving upward.

Of course, they just spent ten million for a weekend of sex. Why wouldn’t they have an elevator with a special code? And here I am, just trying to make ends meet.

The ride is quiet. I can’t—it’s like my mouth is glued together, I’m so nervous. I just stand there, still like a statue, and don’t say anything. And if that isn’t bad enough, my stomach chooses that moment to growl. Not a quiet, cute one. No, it’s loud and obnoxious.

“Hold on, Little Mouse, we’re almost there. If you go again, not eating like this, you’ll catch the swift end of a paddle.”

I gulp. What? Like a paddle kids get spanked with? He can’t be for real.

A few moments later, the elevator comes to an abrupt halt, but the doors don’t open like they should. Instead, Killian leans forward and punches in a code again.

Kyrian bumps my shoulder. “It’s to ensure security. It only opens with the code. It’s a safeguard, in case someone gets lucky and punches the right code in downstairs.”

“But what if they remember what they put in downstairs? It’s not really foolproof then, is it?”

Liam lets out a muffled chuckle beside me.

“That’s why it’s a different code. Aren’t we a smart cookie? See, I knew Killian’s nickname for you was perfect.” Kyrian lifts his hand, pushing the strands of hair hiding my face behind my ear.

“Let’s go. She needs to be fed before we continue,” Liam announces assertively.

He doesn’t wait. He moves forward, dragging me behind him like a rag doll.
