September 28 38 Days to the Election

I was in San Francisco for a campaign fundraiser when I started to learn about the misinformation and conspiracy theories being spread about hurricane relief.

That night we flew to Los Angeles, where I had an event the following day. It was the only night I would sleep in my own home, in my own bed, during the campaign.

I would keep my road warrior mentality. I would take a bath, get a good night’s sleep, and pretend my own home was a hotel.
