Ally
I am really upset with Jerry that he attacked Jack the way he did. I’m afraid that we haven’t heard the end of that. Jack was seriously Injured. Besides a broken nose and eye socket, Jerry also broke his ribs and caused a punctured lung.
I got to say that Jerry’s small mansion is a huge step up from the home Jack owns a couple of blocks from the mall in Shoreline. Though Jack’s home is within walking distance to the beach front.
Jerry has suggested that I divorce Jack quickly so we can get past all this and move forward with our relationship and with our lives.
I notice that he relishes having me on his arm when we are out in public.
He wants my marriage to be over so he can stop hiding our relationship from the people at the hospital.
Though quite a few are already aware of our two yearlong affair.

Today was the fourteenth day I was in the hospital. Fourteen days since I was so brutally attacked by that 6 foot 4 behemoth of a man. A man who sucker punched me and never gave me an opportunity to fight back.
I am thrilled that it is Piper who drives me home to my place in Shoreline on Friday afternoon. When we get home, she informs me that she will be staying with me until I am all healed up. “After that, we can talk about our future,” she added.

“Really? I remember you telling me that she came home late after dinner many times as far back as two years ago. There was no doubt in my mind what my slut sister was up to.”
“But you have been just too sweet and too trusting to see what she was doing. Even when she disappeared for the weekends regularly, you had no suspicions to speak of.” Piper pointed out.
Piper and I had a nice lunch that we ate in the living room. Afterward, we went for my daily walk around the neighborhood. The last several days in the hospital I did laps around the ward where my room was. Piper accompanied me every day.
The walking is part of my recovery. As soon as the chest tube had been taken out of my chest four days ago. I have been doing recovery exercises. Walking, deep breathing exercises, blowing on the spirometer several times a day to build up my breathing and help the recovery process of my lungs.
Now on the 5th day since removal of the chest tube, the skin has grown over the hole. I joked to Piper that it looked like I have a second belly button.
