Chapter 20 - Sophia
He teased me so much, I wanted more. I didn’t want him to stop. My heart was beating fast, and my body felt electrified. As we stepped into the water, Kolya lowered my feet. He held me tightly as he moved, stroking my hair.
I closed my eyes as he leaned in. His kiss was soft, moving from my lips to my neck. I moved my hands up his chest over his abs. He brushed my lips with his before kissing me. Dragging my teeth over his lower lip, I growled softly.
Kolya looked into my eyes, grinning. I lowered my hand and grabbed his cock. He exhaled hard. Using my other hand, I caressed his chest. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back. He was enjoying it.
As I lowered myself to my knees, he grabbed me under my arms and pulled me up. I wasn’t sure why and had to ask. “Is everything okay?”
Placing a finger under my chin, he leaned in. This time, his kiss was rough. “Everything is fine,” he huffed. I watched as he went down on his knees. He gently pushed my legs to the sides before eating my pussy again.
The moment was so thrilling. I lifted my head and groaned loudly. The water ran over my face as the pleasure within me grew. I moaned even louder as my climax increased. Kolya slowed down but didn’t stop. Finally, I released. My legs shook.
Kolya stood up and held me for a moment until I calmed down. He picked me up and pushed me against the wall. I wrapped my arms around his neck as we kissed. I felt his tongue seeking entrance and opened my mouth.
At first, it felt weird but nice. The movement wasn’t forceful. The more I tasted of him, the more I wanted him. He held me up with one hand and used the other one to rub his cock against my pussy.
He gently pushed the tip into me. Pressing me firmly against the wall, he pushed hard into me, making me gasp. He lifted and lowered me onto him a couple of times before dropping my feet back to the floor.
He kissed my forehead as he played with my breasts. He kissed my neck while squeezing my ass. Turning me around, Kolya spread my legs before reentering my pussy. Every time he penetrated me, I breathed out heavily. I couldn’t help it.
He was so hard and big, he made me feel good. Kolya pressed against me, breathing into my ear. He took my hands and pinned them to the wall above us as he increased the pace.
I wasn’t sure if it was the hot water steaming up the shower, or us. We were so close in that moment, it felt like we were one. We were bonding, open, and vulnerable with each other. I wanted the moment to last forever. Just the two of us, no one else in the entire world.
We climaxed together. Kolya wrapped his arms around me, pulling me to him. I held his arms, loving the feeling of bliss surging through me. After a while, he bathed me. I returned the favor by bathing him. We didn’t say a word, but I could feel us bonding.
Once we were done, we got dressed and headed back into the room. He held me as we fell asleep.
The next couple of days, we spent a lot of time together.
We made the most of every moment we could.
It was like we were seeing each other through different lenses.
Kolya lifted my spirit with praises and kindness whenever he could.
He was a good man. Time passed quickly, and before I knew it, a couple of weeks had passed.
I woke up feeling very ill and stayed in bed. At around nine, Kolya came looking. “Are you okay?” he asked, popping his head around the door.
“I’m feeling ill, a little nausea and stomach cramps. Probably something I ate,” I replied. “I’m sure it’ll be better tomorrow.
Kolya nodded as he replied. “Okay, rest. I will have something sent up later.”
In the evening, I had yoghurt and fruit, which seemed fine. But the next morning, I felt similar.
“Let me get the doctor,” Kolya insisted by the fourth day.
“No,” I protested. “I’m fine, it’s surely just a stomach bug. “Let’s give it some time.”
He didn’t look pleased but agreed. I started avoiding certain foods, and there were three days, I actually threw up. I had a runny stomach on two occasions, and nothing appeared to be helping much.
Kolya was gentle, kind, and more caring than I expected. Every morning, he brought my breakfast up, and every evening, the same thing. He sat with me when he could. He rubbed my back and stomach, gave me milk for heartburn, and something light for the nausea.
Two days, he assisted me to and from the bathroom when my legs felt weak. I realized something was wrong. But I had never felt like this before. I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I kept most of my feelings hidden.
After feeling this way for more than a week, I knew I had to do something. Kolya wanted to take me to the doctor, but I still felt sure it was something minor. I decided to do a search for my symptoms.
There were a couple of possibilities. For most, a doctor’s visit would be preferable. However, the most common cause was pregnancy. Laughing, I felt it was ridiculous. But I ordered a test online. Let’s root out the most common cause first.
It was delivered later that afternoon. Lucky for me, Kolya was out when it came, and it came in a sealed box. Heading up to my room, I felt slightly nervous. But I convinced myself that I was only rooting out the possibility. If it were negative, I would allow Kolya to bring in the doctor.
As I read the instructions, I noticed the test was most accurate if done early in the morning. So, that is what I would do. I placed it in the bathroom cupboard to use it tomorrow and headed to bed. I lay rolling around for a bit before sleep finally came.
I was barely awake when I heard the door open.
Glancing at it, I saw Kolya entering. Sitting up, I watched as he came in and sat on the edge of the bed.
Kolya gently touched my knee as he spoke.
“Morning, I hope you're feeling better. I have something I need to attend to. I will try my best to be back as soon as possible.”
“No worries,” I replied. Smiling softly, I nodded as he got up and left. This is the perfect time to do the test. With him being out, there was no possibility of being caught. I waited until I heard the car leave before getting up and heading to the bathroom.
After following the instructions and urinating on the tip, I placed it on the toilet bowl.
Pacing up and down the length of the room, I waited the five minutes as instructed.
Walking back, I picked it up and stared at the results.
Sitting down on the toilet seat, I looked at the back of the box, then back at the stick. “Positive?” I breathed out.
My mouth dropped open. I was stunned. I never expected something like this to happen so quickly.
I knew we hadn’t played it safely. But I had never considered this.
It was the last thing on my mind. Looking up, I stared at my reflection in the mirror.
I was going to be a mother. Was I even ready for such a big responsibility?
Holding the test to my chest, I breathed in deeply.
Things will work out, I convinced myself.
Looking around, I tried to find the perfect hiding spot.
My life was about to change drastically.
Although I think it has been changing for some time now.
I wasn’t ready to share the news with Kolya.
Hell, I didn’t know when I would, but I wanted to wait.
Opening one of the vanity drawers, I shoved it to the back and covered it with makeup.
Sitting on the edge of my bed, I stared out the window.
“Things have changed, haven’t they?” I asked.
There was no one there, but it felt right somehow just saying it out loud.
“I have also changed. Even before this revelation. I had felt the shift as I got to know Kolya.” Every little thing I learned about him slowly changed my view of him.
As my mind wandered, I couldn’t help but compare Melody’s actions with Kolya's. He has been open and honest with me throughout everything. Melody initially seemed honest. It became clearer as time passed that she wasn’t. I realized she was hiding secrets. She was omitting details.
With a deep sigh, I realized that Melody had done the same thing now with our last call. This was the final straw. I knew I had to get to the bottom of this. Nothing left right at the moment. Getting to the bottom of it all was all that mattered. At least for the time being.
Taking a deep breath, I made up my mind. I regret lying to Kolya about still being sick, but it was the only way. I had to get to the bottom of this. It is something I have to do. There is no better time than now, while he thinks I’m sick, and I have some freedom.
Sneaking out of the house was harder than I thought it would be. Kolya brought my car here, in case I need to go somewhere in an emergency. I’d only used it twice, but today it would come in handy.
I couldn’t let anyone see me. Plus, I had to make sure there were no signs that I had left the mansion.
I collected some blankets from the linen cupboard and placed them on the bed.
It looked like I was sleeping. The house was quiet.
I managed to get past the cameras without being seen.
It was tricky, but once I entered the garage, I was halfway free.
Opening the garage door, I checked to see if there were any guards nearby. It was around lunchtime. They usually sat out back with only two patrolling. There was no one in front. This was my chance. Hopping into my car, I started it and pulled out.
As I reached the gate, I looked back. The coast was still clear. I pressed the button and waited for the gate to open. I breathed out heavily as I left the premises, and the gate closed behind me. I was out without being discovered.
I headed to the office as I knew Melody would most likely be there. Pulling into the parking lot, I looked for her car. I didn’t want to be seen. I would have to park where I could see her, but she couldn’t see me. Before I could kill the engine, I saw her coming out and getting into her car.
Melody drove out the furthest gate. I followed slowly, ensuring two to three cars were between us at all times. I felt confident that my following distance was sufficient. I couldn’t afford for her to notice me.
We had gone halfway through town before she suddenly turned into a parking garage. Swallowing hard, I tried to calm my nerves. “You got this,” I mumbled to my reflection in the mirror.
I drove in, going even slower. She went up to the second last floor and parked in the far corner. Not wanting to be too close, I stopped on the opposite side. I got out and moved between the cars to stay hidden as I made my way towards her.
Before I saw the car, I heard it coming. Ducking down, I waited for the car to pass before moving again. The black SUV pulled in next to Melody’s car. She was standing behind her car with her arms folded across her chest.
Two men got out and joined her. I didn’t recognize the first man. The second one looked vaguely familiar, but I couldn’t place him. I knew I had seen him before, but where? I just couldn’t put my finger on it.
It looked like they were arguing. I was still too far to hear what was being said.
Moving closer, I studied the second man.
Where have I seen him? As I started hearing bits and pieces of their conversation, it hit me like a bomb.
It was the man from the DOJ offices. The one who showed up at Kolya’s offices.
What was his name? Crouching, I moved around the truck and hid behind a blue SUV. “Martin something,” I mumbled, racking my brain for answers. Then it came to me as I heard his voice, Martin Knowles. He was the superior of Brain and James.
I was now within earshot, but making out what they were arguing about wasn’t clear. I could hear that Melody was annoyed. It sounded like they were talking about a client. But who?
Taking a risk, I made myself smaller and moved around to the next row of cars. Peeking through the back window of the grey car, I knew this was as close as I would be able to get. Pulling out my phone, I turned on the recorder.
Sliding my phone around the back wheel of the car, I tried to focus the receiver on them. It was still unclear what exactly they were discussing, but the couple of words I caught made my stomach turn.
There was one word I did catch. ‘Blackmail’, they were busy with illegal things, I thought, swallowing hard. Had I been wrong about Melody? “We will get proof,” I heard Melody promise.
Their conversation didn’t sound kosher. “You promised I’d have it by now!” Martin hollered at her. “We need the proof to get the money!” he added.
They were surely into something illegal. I was still battling to hear everything. But only that was enough proof for me. It went quiet. Shifting to my side to see, I dropped my phone. It made a small clinking sound but attracted their attention.
I saw Martin heading in my direction. I froze for a split second before my flee response kicked in. Grabbing my phone, I kept low as I moved back between the rows of cars. I couldn’t get caught.
Scrambling left and right, I managed to get to my car.
Looking back, I saw Martin standing where I was hiding.
He shook his head and went back to Melody and the other man.
It was time to go. I had the recording at least. I felt sure I would be able to hear more about their plans on it.
I was glad there was no mention of Kolya. At least not that I could hear.
Getting into my car, I closed the door softly. I exhaled the breath I was holding without even knowing. My chest felt tight, and my heart was racing. But I was safe. I fired up the engine and drove off. I had made it out before they or anyone else had discovered my presence.
Driving home was stressful. What had I gotten myself into? I knew I would have to share this information with Kolya. But I first wanted to make sure what I heard.
