Chapter 2
CHAPTER TWO
STAR
Once back at the club, we park up. Amongst the bikes, there is now a sea of trucks parked due to most of us needing the space for our kids. You won’t catch any of them with a minivan. They ain’t soccer moms.
A deep loud “Whoof!” as Erebus, Rage’s dog, comes trotting out to greet us, his big paws plodding along the gravel.
Storm runs to him, wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him. He turns, licking her face, making her laugh. For a dog that looks terrifying, he is such a softie with the kids.
“Erebus!” Rage barks. The dog immediately stops and turns, trotting back over to Rage.
“What is it they say? Dogs look like their owners,” I mutter to Ghost. He grunts in agreement.
Rage lifts his chin in acknowledgement. “All good?” Ghost asks him as we approach.
He shrugs. “They were talking about food, or something; I don’t know. I got bored and took Erebus for a walk. He found some roadkill. Look,” Rage says, opening a plastic bag.
I peer in and see a dead possum, flinching back in disgust. “God Rage, get rid of it.” I shudder.
He wraps it back up and holds it close to him. “I was going to stuff it and put a squeaker in it for Erebus.”
I pause and look at him, shaking my head back and forth. “Can’t do that, brother. It could be carrying diseases that will harm Erebus,” Ghost casually states as he opens the door, holding it open for Rage and me.
“Seriously? Shit,” he huffs, chucking it in the outside bin. I breathe a sigh of relief as I look up at Ghost.
“Really?” I mouth at Ghost. He gives me a wink and shrugs, and I bite down on my bottom lip to stop my laughter. The crafty asshole.
As soon as I step inside the club, the main bar and living area are in utter chaos. Kids are running around shouting, laughing, screaming and arguing. I spot Maggie at the bar knocking back a beer.
“Bad day?” I ask as I approach. Finishing the beer, she slams it down on the bar and wipes the back of her mouth with the back of her hand while releasing a loud belch. I grimace. “Shit, that bad?” I joke.
“Hendrix ran off in the mall today,” she sighs.
“Shit, I bet you were frantic. How long was he missing?” I ask.
“Oh, only a few minutes. He ran into Cherry,” she states.
“Oh.” I try my best not to laugh. Cherry was an adult lingerie and toy shop. It was pretty tame, not like a seedy sex shop. You know, the basics: cuffs, whips, and vibrators.
“Yeah,” she sighs, rubbing her face.
“Well, I mean, it’s no harm. It’s just underwear and stuff, right?” I shrug. “I bought some cuffs from there, and they broke within five minutes. Not very sturdy at all. We just order straight from a military shop now,” I add.
Maggie gives me a look before she continues. “Well, they now have a leather and PVC range. Hendrix found a gimp mask and put it on, running around the store, roaring at the customers. Even the ones in the changing room out back!” she exclaims, a look of pure horror on her face.
I cough back my laughter. “He doesn’t know; he’s only three. Yeah, well, I had to run after him while he was laughing his little ass off into the changing rooms, where I saw an elderly man trying on a red leather studded thong. I will never recover.”
I can't help it. The laughter bubbles up within me. I laugh so hard it brings tears to my eyes. “Sorry,” I snort.
She rolls her eyes. “Yeah, you’re just like Cash. He thought it was fucking hilarious.”
“Well, I mean, it is. Funny though, if any kid was going to go on a rampage in a sex shop, I would have put money on it being Hawk’s kid. I guess we got to be thankful he never went on to have a boy.”
“Yeah, well, apparently it’s just my son that is a little pervert.” Maggie smirks, looking over at Hendrix as he chases Maisy and Storm around. “He’s going to end up being a sexual deviant, isn’t he?” She sighs.
Laughing, I put my arm around her. “Don’t be ridiculous.
Storm would kick his ass,” I point out, nodding as Storm has clearly now had enough.
She whirls around on Hendrix and points her finger at him, telling him off.
Hendrix pokes his tongue out at her, and she glares him down.
“Okay, better go calm the evil child before she knees the poor kid in the nuts,” I rush out.
“I told you it was too soon to teach her self-defence,” I call out to Ghost, rushing over as Strom grabs Hendrix’s shirt in her fist. I swear, toddlers are lethal, crazy little demons.
Once the toddler fight was broken up and Queenie, god love her, sat all the kids down to eat, we all sat in the bar area discussing the plans for next week’s Christmas stay at the cabin.
“So, Alina and Hap, you’re bringing the decorations.
Scar and Elsie, you’re bringing meats, the ham, and the cold cuts.
Queenie is getting the turkey,” Belle organises, looking at the notes on her phone while cradling Raine, and Beast cradles Ripley.
Their adorable twin girls are only six months old.
She looks up at Acid and Rhea. “And you guys are on alcohol,” she continues, looking to Hawk and Josie.
“You are on desserts,” she points, then turns her attention to Maggie and Cash.
“Vegetables and snacks.” She looks down at her phone, then at me.
“All I got is Santa for you.” She furrows her brow in confusion.
I look over to make sure the kids are all occupied before leaning over. “Ghost is going to dress up as Santa for the kids on Christmas Eve,” I whisper.
“The fuck?!” Ghost barks.
“Shhh, you’ll ruin the surprise for them,” I chastise.
“Darlin’, like fuck am I dressing up as fucking Santa. If it was some kind of sex thing you wanted, then yeah, pass me the fucking suit, but I am not dressing up in that fat man’s fucking suit,” he defends.
I spin around and stand toe-to-toe with Ghost, glaring up at him. “You will dress up as Santa for our babies, you will make this fucking magical for them, and you will not ruin it by being an asshole,” I seethe.
His eyes glimmer in fury at my tone. “I am the mother fucking president of the Black Hearts MC. I do not dress up as fucking Santa. This ain’t no fucking family Christmas movie,” he snaps.
“Oh, I know it isn’t, because I’m about to bite your dick off,” I fume.
His eyes spark, and his lips twitch in amusement.
He’s enjoying this. “I ain’t about to stop you if you want my cock in your mouth, darlin’,” he drawls.
The mother fucking man is infuriating, but by sucking his cock, I would have a better chance of getting what I want out of him.
“Ain’t going to happen. Even if you blow my mind with that fuckable mouth of yours. ” He smirks, reading my thoughts.
“I will do it,” Beast declares. I turn to look at Beast. “Don’t bother me. I’ve acted my way out of trouble before. I’m sure I can pretend to be a fat fuck that likes kids and cookies.”
“Jesus, man. Trust you to make Santa sound like a fucking peado.” Hawk snorts.
“Thank you, Beast.” I smile at him before glaring at Ghost. “You’re going to have to work real hard to get out of my bad books, Casper,” I warn as I go to take a seat. He grabs me by my arm and yanks me to him, and as I slam into his chest, my palms splay out.
He leans in, his lips brushing against the shell of my ear. “One lick of my tongue over your delicious little cunt will have you forgiving me and begging me for more,” he growls in a low, throaty whisper.
I smile a devilish, seductive smile as I graze my lips over his stubbled cheek. “The mood I’m in, Casper, I will be taking my seat on your face, riding your tongue and your mouth until you’re begging to come up for air.”
He chuckles, and the rumble vibrates under my palms on his chest. “Darlin’, I would never beg you to let me stop. If I’m to suffocate from eating your perfect fucking pussy, then darlin’, take this as my suicide note, because there ain’t no other way I’d rather die.”
My nails dig into his chest. “Damn you, Casper,” I breathe.
He nips my lobe between his teeth. “Later, darlin’,” he says with a low, threatening tone. I turn back around to face everyone as Ghost wraps his arms around me, holding my back to his front.
“Okay, so that’s everyone sorted,” Belle finishes.
“What? Wait, I didn’t hear who else got what?” I state, looking around.
“That’s because you were busy in your little sex bubble.” Maggie grins.
I shrug, not even sorry. “We may have to leave the cabin if we get the call,” Elsie says with a hopeful smile. Scar takes her hand in his, lifting it to his mouth and placing a kiss on her palm.
“You heard from the agency?” I ask.
“No, well, they said it could be any day.” Elsie sighs with excitement and anxiousness.
I hope they get the call soon. They have been on the list waiting for a baby for over six months.
They’ve had pregnant mothers choose them but then decide to keep the baby once it’s born.
Which I understand, as do they, but it doesn’t make it any less heartbreaking for them.
So now they have asked the adoption agency not to inform them that they have been chosen.
To just call when it’s a certainty. Jared helped them falsify their records to make them out to be model citizens, so now they just wait for the call they have longed for.
