Chapter 11

CHAPTER ELEVEN

STAR

CHRISTMAS DAY!

We let the kids all sleep in the lounge area when we got back. Each of them hung their stockings up on the fireplace, but the younger ones slept in their own room. “I can’t believe I’m doing this,” Beast huffs as he pulls at the beard.

“Shhh, shut up!” Belle snaps. “You don’t want to wake the kids yet.”

“Fuck, this is the best Christmas ever,” Hawk snorts.

“Hey, Santa, can I sit on your knee?” Cash asks, making all of the brothers chuckle.

“SHHHHHHH!” Belle hisses.

I bite down on my bottom lip, trying not to laugh as Beast stands there in full Santa get-up. “Now, take the sack and walk to the end of the driveway. I will call when it’s safe for you to come back,” Belle orders, shoving the brown sack into his hand before she shoves him towards the door.

We wait until he’s far enough outside before waking the kids. “Okay, are you filming it?”

“Got it,” Spider says, holding up his phone.

Maggie, Belle, Alina, Rhea, and Josie all walk over and start waking up the kids. One by one they groan and complain. Oliver barely wakes and just rolls over back to sleep. Typical teen.

“Quick, we’ve spotted Santa!” Elsie states excitedly, pointing out the window. Scar grins while holding baby Linc. The kids jump up one by one and run over to the window. Snow is now falling heavier, making it a truly magical Christmas.

“Santa!” Phoenix cries out.

“Momma! Look!” Storm points.

I crouch down behind her. “It’s Santa, baby girl!” I say with surprise. I look to Enzo, whose eyes are wide with shock. “You okay, son?” I ask.

He blinks a few times before turning his attention to me. “Yeah, Mom,” he says with a small smile, still trying to play it cool. I look at Ghost and shake my head, smiling.

We watch as Beast walks out from the end of the drive and out of view. “Awww!” the kids moan.

“So, I guess you guys don’t want to see what Santa left you then?” Hap asks from where he’s standing over by the fire.

I swear, I’ve never seen the kids turn and run so fast. They were practically feral. Hap hands them their stocking one by one, and they rip into them like they’re hunting crack. Once it’s done, the kids all play happily.

“When can we open the ones under the tree?” Maisy asks Josie.

“After dinner,” Josie states. “Makes the day last longer.”

With that to look forward to, Maisy grins and runs off. Beast is now in the kitchen, having a coffee and trying to warm up in his usual clothes while he watches the video Spider recorded.

“Hey, where’s Mom?” Cash asks. We all look around and notice she’s nowhere to be seen. Worry instantly hits my gut, and I run to her room, hearing Cash on my heels, along with Maggie and everyone else. I push open her door and see her still in bed, fast asleep. “Mom?” Cash calls out.

Queenie opens her eyes slowly. “Oh, hey,” She blinks and then frowns. “Why are you all in my room?” she asks, confused. She looks pale and has dark circles under her eyes. I hadn’t noticed it before, but I guess she was covering up what she could with make-up.

Cash sits beside her. “Mom, are you sick?” he asks, his voice full of concern.

Queenie moves to sit up, but her face pinches in pain as she does. “No, just tired is all,” she says, trying to reassure him.

Maggie steps forward and runs her hand over Queenie’s pillow, holding up a chunk of hair. “Queenie, this ain’t normal,” Maggie points out.

“Oh, it’s nothing.” Queenie tries to laugh it off.

“Queenie,” I say sternly. She can’t keep lying now. I can see the worry and concern on Cash’s face.

Queenie lets out a long breath. “I have cancer.”

There is an audible gasp amongst everyone. “Mom,” Cash says, his voice breaking with heartache.

Queenie grabs his hand in hers and smiles. “It’s okay. They found a lump in my breast. I’m on chemo tablets for now, to see how it responds. If not, it will be more aggressive treatment.”

“Why the fuck didn’t you tell me?” Cash asks with a sharp tone.

“Because it’s Christmas, and I didn’t want to ruin it,” Queenie admits.

“You knew,” Ghost whispers softly.

I nod. “Come on, let’s leave them to it,” I state as I turn and guide everyone else, except Cash and Maggie, out of the room.

Ghost stands beside me at the kitchen island, his hand on the back of my neck, his thumb stroking up and down as I explain to the others what Queenie had told me. They all look sullen. It’s a shock. She’s the matriarch of the club.

“Fuck, I can’t believe it,” Beast sighs.

“I need to kill something,” Rage grinds out. Dixie hugs him, trying to soothe his violent tendencies away. Even Erebus lets out a whimper at his side.

“Why are you all looking so sad?” Queenie snaps as she walks over, all dressed with make-up on.

“We are devastated, Queenie,” Hawk states.

“Yeah, it’s shitty, but I ain’t dead yet. Now, just because the medication is kicking my ass, it doesn’t mean you can all slack. It’s Christmas, and there is a dinner to cook. Now either grab some vegetables and help, or piss off,” she orders.

I smile. Even feeling like shit, she can still whip these boys into shape. Each one of the guys walks over and kisses her on the cheek, hugging her. I get the vegetables out as she comes closer to me, a sad smile playing at her lips.

“I hate that this is what the day will be remembered for,” she admits.

“It won’t just be that. There’s Beast dressed as Santa.” I smirk, pausing. “You okay though?” I ask.

She nods. “Yeah, Cash just needs a minute.”

I nod in understanding. “I will go see if Maggie wants to help prepare,” I state. The rest of the ol’ ladies rally around Queenie, hugging, chatting and helping to prepare the dinner. I walk down the hall to Cash and Maggie’s room. The door is ajar, and I pause just outside it before knocking.

“Fuck, baby, I’m going to fill you with my seed,” Cash groans.

I blink. Okay, I’m guessing Maggie was helping him through in their own way. “Yes, fuck,” Maggie cries out. I bite my lip, smiling as I slowly walk back out.

Ghost catches me at the end of the hall. “Where have you been?” he asks.

“Fuck yes!” Maggie’s cries echo behind me.

“Oh.” He grins. “Ain’t no better way to deal with shit than to fuck,” he states before pressing his lips to mine. “You want me to help you deal? Right now?”

“Oh, Casper, I’d love to, but I’ve got potatoes to peel.” I smile and pat his cheek before I move to step away.

He grabs hold of my wrist and yanks me back to him before bending down and throwing me over his shoulder. I let out a squeal as he slaps my ass.

“Be back in twenty,” he bellows before walking us out the front door.

The cold air hits me, and I shiver. “Where are we going?” I hiss.

He ignores me and continues to walk. All I can see are his footprints in the snow. Until I’m thrown and land in warm water with a splash. I gasp as I go under briefly, and when I push myself up, I push my hair out of my face.

“You chucked me in the hot tub!” I fume.

Ghost smirks as he drops his jeans and removes his T-shirt, standing before me in the snow completely naked as he climbs into the hot tub.

He doesn’t say anything as he grabs my face in his hand and crashes his mouth to mine.

It’s desperate and full of desire. His hands roam, yanking my yoga pants down.

I wiggle out of them before wrapping my legs around his waist. He presses the head of his cock at my entrance, pausing briefly before he slams himself inside me. I cry out.

His mouth and hands are everywhere, as if he’s committing every part of my body to memory.

He sits on the seat in the tub, so I’m straddling him.

I bounce up and down his length, making the water slosh all around us.

He lifts my top up over my breasts, exposing them.

His hands cup them, rolling my nipples between his thumb and forefinger.

His gaze is intense as he watches me. He takes one of my nipples into his mouth, sucking and flicking it with his tongue.

“Ghost,” I breathe, feeling my pleasure boiling and ready to explode. “I’m, oh fuck, yes,” I ramble.

“I know. I can feel you,” Ghost groans. I ride him faster and harder, and as water from the hot tub cascades over the sides, his hands grip my hips.

He keeps his eyes fixed on mine, which are full of love and adoration, and it’s almost too much to take.

“Cum for me. Cum for me now,” he orders, his jaw gritted tight.

“Don’t tell me what to do,” I bite back, enjoying the feeling of my orgasm building.

He moves his hand between us, pressing the pad of his thumb to my clit, rotating it in a circular motion. “You fucking cum when I say you cum,” he growls.

It’s all suddenly too much, and my orgasm ignites through my body.

I clamp around him as I arch my back, stars blurring my vision.

Ghost lets out a deep growl from within his chest and pumps his release into me.

I slouch forward, resting my face in the crook of his neck.

His hand strokes lazily up and down my back as we both catch our breath.

“Don’t ever fucking leave me,” he rasps in my ear.

I sit up, my brow furrowed in confusion. “Why would you think I would ever leave you?”

He tucks my hair behind my ear and shakes his head. “This shit with Queenie. I’d be devastated if we ever lost her. Fuck, it doesn’t even bare thinking about, but the thought of it being you… Fuck, I wouldn’t survive it. You die, I fucking die.”

I swallow, threading my fingers through his short hair. “I’m not going anywhere, and Queenie will fight this. Have you tried arguing with that woman? She always wins.” I smile, trying to ease his concern.

He gives me a tight smile, but I can see the depth of worry this has on him.

I press my lips to his. “I’m here, Casper.

Nothing could ever take me away from you.

I’m too fucking stubborn for that, and as for Queenie, we will support her and get her the best possible care there is,” I assure him.

He presses his lips to mine. “Plus, I ain’t missing watching you deal with Storm dating boys. ” I smile against his lips.

“She ain’t fucking dating. Ever,” he growls.

I chuckle and move my hips slightly, making him groan. “Reckon you could go again, or is Casper getting too old for that?” I tease, feeling him already harden inside me.

Ghost growls and thrusts up, making me gasp. A loud banging stops us, and we turn around to see Spider banging on the window, looking down on us. I laugh and lean forward, pressing my chest to Ghost’s so he can’t see anything.

“YOU FUCKERS!” he mouths at us.

Ghost’s chest rumbles with laughter. “I told him no fucking in the hot tub.” Ghost laughs.

“Oh!” I laugh. “Well, come on. It is Christmas, after all,” I sigh, getting off him.

Ghost moves in front of me, blocking me from the window, so if anyone looked out, they would just see Ghost’s ass.

He pulls on his jeans and slips his T-shirt over me before picking me up in his arms so my feet don’t get cold in the snow.

As we head back inside the cabin, the sound of chaos rings out. Children are running riot, Erebus is barking, and Queenie is chastising Hawk. Ghost pauses at the door, those ice-blue eyes searing into my very soul.

“Merry Christmas, darlin’.” Ghost grins.

“Merry Christmas, Casper.”
