Chapter 1 #2

There were some things he’d been looking forward to though. “What if I want to go but am still scared?”

“Then hold my hand. We’ll do this together.”

That sounded simple enough. “Okay, Daddy.”

This time the kiss he received was hot and demanding. Caleb strained against his seatbelt, trying to climb into Grant’s lap. He belonged in his Daddy’s lap. But Grant pulled away.

“Time to get on the road,” Grant said with a wicked grin.

“You’re so mean.” Caleb had to laugh though. Grant knew how to handle him.

“Let’s rock and roll.” Grant closed the door then walked around the jeep to his side. After he climbed behind the wheel, he let out a loud whoop.

Caleb had never seen Grant so animated.

“We’re going camping!” Grant exclaimed.

Crap. Caleb shook his head. This was amusing. Had he and Grant traded places?

“We’re going camping,” Caleb repeated. At least he didn’t sound like he was dying anymore.

“Wave to the babies.”

“They can’t see me from inside the house,” Caleb argued. He hated leaving his babies.

“It’ll make you feel better though.” Grant picked up Caleb’s hand and waved it around.

“Oh my God! You are such a dork. How did I not know that? Why is it just coming out now?” He loved his Daddy so much. Maybe Grant was right. If he just relaxed, he might actually have fun on this trip.

Humming, Grant started the car. He even gave a wiggle that would make Avery proud. As they drove down the drive to the street, Caleb looked back over his shoulder.

“Are you sure we can trust him with the babies?” Caleb questioned. They were leaving his precious babies with a hitman. With a fucking hitman. If anything happened to any of his babies, Caleb would kill Mac himself.

“Yes. Mitch swears that Mac loves animals just as much as you do. Remember he even adopted those three hard-to-place kittens from the shelter.”

“A hitman is babysitting our babies,” Caleb said, just so Grant would see the craziness of the sentence.

Grant chuckled.

“And he constantly breaks into Byron’s house,” Caleb added. Really revving up now.

“Yeah, he only did that to us once.”

“Because you pulled a gun on him,” Caleb pointed out.

“I would have shot him too if you hadn’t just redecorated the kitchen. I didn’t want to ruin all the hard work you’d done.”

Caleb reached over and threaded his fingers through Grant’s.

Just being able to hold Grant’s hand meant the world to him.

“I appreciate it, Daddy. I love how the kitchen turned out. It wouldn’t look as good covered in blood.

” Now that he was taking cooking classes through the vocation school at the community college, he loved being in the kitchen.

“No, it wouldn’t.”

“Leave it to Mitch to become best friends with a hitman. I can’t believe Byron allowed that.”

“I don’t think either of them had much of a choice. Mac…there’s just something not right with him.”

“We left him in charge of the babies!” Caleb wailed.

“Right. I meant I’m sure it will be fine.”

Caleb turned his head slowly in time to see Grant wince.

“I mean it will be fine. I told him that if anything happened to one of the babies, no one would ever find his body.”

Okay then. Caleb relaxed back into his seat. “Did I tell you yet how sexy I think it is when you threaten someone?”

“Yeah?” Grant turned and lifted a brow. “How sexy?”

Oh, dirty talk. A long drive of nothing but dirty talk. Caleb wondered if he’d be able to jack off while Grant drove. That would be awesome!

Mitch

The campground came into view and Mitch was a little disappointed.

Starting a new job had kept him busy. There hadn’t been time for more than a few quick rides since he started with the Public Defender’s office.

It had been wonderful clinging to Byron as they rode for a couple of hours on the long empty roads before making their way through the forest.

Beautiful. Isolated. He didn’t know who picked the location, but it was picture-perfect.

Even though Mitch hadn’t been one for camping or doing much outdoors he was looking forward to the next three days. Good friends, fun, and Byron. Didn’t get much better than that.

Byron pulled the motorcycle off to the side as first Jace and Avery then Grant and Caleb arrived.

Once the motorcycle was off, Mitch hugged Byron’s waist hard.

“You okay, boy?”

“Yes, that was fun. I’m glad to be back on the bike.”

“Me too.” Byron patted his hand. “Be careful getting off.”

Of course. Byron was always looking out for him. “Yes, Daddy.”

By the time they were both off the bike and the helmets were stashed away, Jace had gotten Avery out of the SUV.

Avery was clutching the bear that Mitch had given him earlier. Mitch knew that Avery didn’t need another stuffie, but it was hard not wanting to make Avery smile. Avery was such a sweetie and when he was happy, it was hard not to share in his pure joy of life.

“Mitch!” Avery waved like he hadn’t just seen him two hours ago.

Still, Mitch waved back.

“Where’s Caleb?” Avery called.

Mitch looked around. Grant was getting their supplies out of the back of the jeep while Caleb peered at them from inside still in the passenger seat. Mitch waved for Avery to go with him to Caleb.

“Be right back,” Mitch told Byron.

“That’s fine, boy. I’ll help Jace unload our stuff.”

Mitch rushed over to the jeep, his favorite shoes lighting up the mossy ground. He even gave a couple of jumps just so they’d light up. As expected, Caleb grinned out at him.

“Caleb!” Avery yelled. “Caleb! Come out here.”

“He might be scared,” Mitch said quietly to Avery. “Of bears or something.”

“Oh.” Avery wiggled around. He held up his new stuffie. “Look, Caleb. You don’t have to be scared of bears. We have a new friend with us. He’ll keep the other bears away.”

The passenger door of the jeep opened slowly. “I’m not scared of bears.”

“Caleb! Caleb!” Avery danced. “Come on! We can check out our site.”

“That’s what I’m afraid of,” Caleb said. “It’s…” He waved his hand. “Dirty.”

“It’s not so bad,” Avery responded. “And my Daddy brought three different kinds of bug sprays.”

“Bugs?” Caleb paled. “What kind of bugs?”

“I don’t think that’s helpful.” Mitch nudged Avery. “I think we might have to tickle him out!”

“Yay!” Avery clapped.

“No!” Caleb shook his head. “Stay away.”

Mitch made a big production of stomping forward. Avery caught on and did the same.

“Get back!” Caleb demanded but he was laughing hard already. “Get back.”

“Caleb,” Mitch drawled. “Come out and play.”

“No!” Caleb was holding his stomach, laughing harder. If it wasn’t for the seatbelt, he might have fallen out of the jeep.

“Need help, boys?” Grant asked as he looked around the jeep.

“Daddy Grant! Daddy Grant! Caleb won’t play. We might need to tickle him.” Avery was in full little mode.

Mitch felt his own boy persona sliding to the front. “He totally needs to be tickled.”

Grant nodded seriously. “You know what, boys? I think you might be right.”

“Yay!” Avery and Mitch exclaimed.

“No, Daddy!” Caleb cried.

But Grant was already heading toward his boy. “Oh yes, pretty baby!”

“No! Don’t you dare!” Caleb tried to act stern.

Grant had the seatbelt undone and Caleb over his shoulder. He carried Caleb over to a soft patch of grass and laid him down. Mitch and Avery pounced. They had Caleb wiggling, screeching, and almost crying, tickling him over and over.

Mitch was laughing along with him. Fresh air, the next three days camping, and good friends. Along with his Daddy, he was having an excellent time. Already.

“Anyone want to pick out where to set the tents?” Jace hollered.

“I do, Daddy!” Avery raised his hand.

“Well come on,” Jace called. “I know you’ll pick the perfect spot.”

Avery ran off.

Mitch helped Caleb sit up. “You really okay?” Mitch asked his friend.

“Just nervous. Grant has been looking forward to this. I don’t want to mess it up.”

“The only way that you’ll mess up would be if he heard you talking like that. Just try to do your best and he’ll be happy.”

“That’s what he says,” Caleb confided.

“Have fun,” Mitch told him. “Let’s just have fun.”

“Yeah.” Caleb rose then offered a hand to Mitch.

Mitch allowed himself to be pulled up.

“We better pick out our spots,” Caleb said.

“You get to be as far on the other side of camp from us as possible. I don’t want to hear you and Grant going at it all night.”

“Jealous much?” Caleb taunted.

Mitch snorted. He was not jealous. Byron had all kinds of ideas and plans for Mitch. Getting close to nature and all that. Mitch didn’t know the exact plans but whatever they were would be awesome. They always were.

Mitch met with Byron behind Jace’s SUV. Jace had agreed to haul their stuff so they could ride up on the bike.

“Far away from Grant and Caleb,” Mitch said.

Byron laughed. “You got it, boy. Although you’ll be waking up some of the local wildlife yourself if you keep being so damn cute.”

“Me? Cute?” Mitch teased.

“Yes, you.” Byron hooked his arm around Mitch’s neck and tugged him close. “So cute.”

Mitch lifted onto his tiptoes and kissed his Daddy. “We could go take a walk.”

“Later, boy,” Byron swatted his butt. “You already got to come once today. Don’t get greedy.”

“Yes, sir.” But he liked being a greedy boy. And secretly he knew that Byron loved to spoil him. Even with extra orgasms. And spankings. The morning spankings followed by an orgasm were everything.

Byron carried their tent across the site. Mitch watched his Daddy stride away in his tight jeans and Mitch’s mouth watered. Byron was so fucking hot. Damn it, now Mitch was hard. His cock straining against his shorts, Mitch tried to discreetly adjust himself.

“Get your hand off that little cock or I’ll tie your hands behind your back for the rest of the trip,” Byron said, without even looking back at him.

“Yes, Daddy.” How much pushing would it take for Byron to put Mitch over his knee? In the middle of the woods. That would be so hot.

“You won’t get the spanking you’re looking for,” Byron told him. “Don’t test me, boy.”

“Yes, sir.” Damn it.
