29. Thea

Chapter twenty-nine

Thea

Cossgarth

I rose from the steaming spring, warm water dripping from my wet hair in rivulets down my breasts, over my taut nipples, down my stomach, and to the ache curling between my legs. The Beast moved around, making us a bed with more moss over the rocks. I wanted this Beast with a passion I couldn’t deny. I didn’t want him to deny it, either. It was a cozy-looking bed out here in the wilds of this realm I didn’t know. A bed I’d seduce him in.

I approached behind him and grabbed his dark horns. I wasn’t a fool to think he didn’t hear me approach. Nor was I a fool to think he’d let me seduce him if he didn’t want me to. He wanted this as much as I did.

“Thea,” he groaned.

I rubbed my hands along the length of his thick horns and back down again. He whirled and took me in his muscular arms. Crashed his urgent lips to mine. This was what my body wanted. My mind didn’t know who I was, or what we were, but my body soared with pleasure like nothing I’d experienced in the time I’d awoken with no memories.

I shoved him back into the bed he’d made me. Straddled his hips and rubbed my aching mound on his hard cock. He rumbled his pleasure deep in his throat. His firm hands grabbed my hips, rocking me back and forth harder and faster. The friction wasn’t enough. It teetered me on the precipice of orgasm, but I wanted him inside me. I was desperate to have him. To feel him deep inside like he was a part of me and maybe once there, I’d remember who and what we were.

Titling my hips a fraction higher, the end of his cock nudged my slick entrance. He paused, kissing me as I seated myself on his cock just to watch the look of ecstasy floating across me.

“You’re so beautiful.”

“You make me feel it.” I rocked my hips.

His hands returned to urging me on. To rocking me against his pelvis, finding the sweet friction against my clit and deeper inside where his cock nudged the tightening bundle of nerves.

“Yes,” I cried. “Harder.”

“As my little queen demands.”

He thrust up harder with his massive cock. Dragged me down firmer, so each roll of his hips caressed my clit on his body. My legs tightened and gripped him in a punishing hold, but he grinned as though it was the best feeling ever. His sexy smirk drew an orgasm from my body. I climaxed with enough force that every muscle in my body contracted and released wave after wave of undulating pleasure. He drove up into my quivering body. It didn’t matter what he did, everything felt good. Too good to be true.

Another few hard thrusts and he roared his release. His cock pulsed inside me, sending my eyes rolling back in my head with the pleasure of the sensation on my sensitive flesh.

I sagged onto his chest, so sated with his hard loving that my limbs quivered like they still contracted with after ripples of my orgasm. His arms swung around me and held me tight against his firm chest. The Beast’s breaths were as ragged as mine. His embrace was so good. So right. I should trust him. Admit I had a son who was most likely his.

“Well?” he asked. “Did I jog any memories with my cock?”

I laughed, making his cock slip free with my jostling chest and body.

“No.” I laid my hands on his chest and rested my chin on my hands to stare into his handsome face. “Guess you like your horns being touched?”

He chuckled. “It goes straight to my dick.”

“What are we going to do?” Tears formed in my eyes.

“Hey, we’ll figure it out.” He stroked my cheek with his knuckles.

“Sure,” I mumbled.

“Thea,” he sighed.

“What is your name?”

His body tensed. Every once lax muscle going rigid against my body. “I can’t tell you.”

“Can’t or won’t.” I rolled off his chest onto the bed he’d made.

He followed me as though our bodies had strings that connected us and pinned me to the moss.

“Both. I’m a Rage Demon. A demon’s name holds its power.”

I sucked in a breath through tight lips. So he was Cillian’s father. It had to be a demon’s name that arose to me. Which also explained why I never said my son’s name aloud. Why I instinctively understood I shouldn’t say the name aloud.

“I understand,” I mumbled. “You don’t trust me, and I don’t blame you. I don’t know who I am or what I’ve done. I could be your enemy for all I know.”

He pursed his lips. It made me want to kiss him again.

“I’m not your enemy. I’ll never be your enemy. As for trust…”

“You dragged me here, told me I’m yours, said you’re in love with me, but you won’t trust me.” I struggled against his hold.

His ebony eyes glittered with so much emotion that I saw I’d hurt him.

He uttered one word. “Rozronuuk.”

Pain exploded inside my head. Blackness shifted over my vision and then receded to brightness. I couldn’t see anything except the memories refilling my head. It hurt so much I thought I might pass out. The memories started with a trickle, then they bombarded me. My head ached. It filled to capacity and beyond. I screamed.

He cupped my face, chanting my name.

As the last memory of my sister entered my mind, my vision cleared. Rozronuuk’s concerned face stared back at me.

“You did it,” I said. “I remember everything.”

His concern deepened across his brow, in the glow of his dark eyes, and the pull of his lips.

“I’m going to rip my sister’s wings from her back and take her voice box for starters.”

“There’s my little queen.”

“Yes.” I sat up. “I’m the siren queen. And you, Beast, you are my mate.”

His eyebrows rose, but then he smiled. “At long last you admit it?”

“Yes. We have lots to discuss, but I need to reclaim my crown and throne first.” I scrambled out of the hollow and yanked on my discarded dress. The material seemed alien to me now I comprehended who I was. What I was.

The Beast eased to his impressive height and shoved his legs into his leather pants, then slid his massive shoulders into his dark jacket. Even after he’d satisfied me, my body hummed with the desire to have him again, but the next time I’d take his body in mine, I’d make certain I’d claimed him first. Made him mine forever.

“Lead the way.” He waved his hand, and a portal flared to life. “Wherever my mate goes, I will protect her.”
