No Grinches Allowed #3
I warned, “He’s probably going to make sure his parents know they are not invited.” Lucas shrugged, “It’s his party. I can hardly force him to invite them even though he will literally invite everyone else.” Travis chuckled, “Not Cassandra.”
Lucas acknowledged, “She was never invited. Well, she was actually uninvited every year.” Kiara said, “That sound interesting.” It did. Emmaline asked, “What now? That sounds so intriguing and like something I need to do when I plan parties.” Lucas grinned at his mate.
I called Ben McAlister on the office phone. He answered, “I’ll assume this is Beta Dylan.” I sang, “You’d be wrong.” Ben chuckled, “It worked then.” Lucas asked, “How many people were in on this plan?” I admitted, “A few.”
Travis said, “It worked like a charm, Ben. I’m sure we will all get our invitations soon.
” Dad came in announcing, “Rumblings are going around about Dylan’s Christmas Party is being resumed.
Everyone that remembers Dylanmas is thrilled.
I’ll say someone kickstarted that and I’m looking at my daughter. ”
Mom came in squealing, “Yes, she did! I have been waiting for him to start that back up! Everything’s officially back to normal.” I blushed, “Well, I can’t exactly take full credit.” Travis argued, “Yes, you can.” That wasn’t true.
Kiara said, “Thor didn’t want people to know he came to meet with us.” It felt dishonest not to give Eric the credit though. Jackie grinned, “I can’t believe I finally get to come to one of Dylan’s famous Christmas party.”
I snorted, “He’s got Fairies to help him now. The other parties will pale into comparison and Dylan could always plan a party. Dylanmas was something the area, even humans, wanted an invitation to.” Travis agreed, “Dylan did love how everyone clamored for his invites.”
Debbie admitted, “I can’t believe we didn’t know he had Fae blood from that alone.
” I smiled because my mate adored that he had Fairy blood.
Barely a drop, but to Dylan it meant everything.
I agreed, “He’s definitely the most fun Beta around.
” Even of those with more Fairy blood than my husband. Dylan just enjoyed life.
Emmaline grabbed me, “Ok, things are back on track, and we can all discuss the invitations when they arrive in some fun way.” My sister in law popped me away to a treehouse. I asked, “Why did you do that?” Emmaline explained, “Because your soul told me you had something you wanted to ask me.”
I admitted, “So, I was thinking about adding another layer of fun to Dylan’s Christmas joy.” Emmaline grinned, “I love it already, tell me more.” I admitted, “It does require you or Haley.” Emmaline laughed, “I love it more.”
I explained, “Well, in September I was hoping one of you could release magic and send me into heat early. Dylan and I have been talking about another pup, and one born on Christmas would mean everything to Dylan. He’s been obsessed with that idea since Landon was born near it.”
Emmaline chuckled, “I’m sure we could challenge Lucas and Eric in September to see who can pleasure me or Haley enough to be the first one to release magic.” I laughed, “It can just be you and Lucas.”
Emmaline shrugged, “Competition never hurt anyone, and we should have a backup plan. Beta’s would. Maybe Logan and my nephews have rubbed off on me, because the competition part is really sticking out to me.” I busted up laughing with her.
I agreed, “The Beta’s definitely would have a backup plan.
Are you sure you really wouldn't mind?” Emmaline laughed, “You’re asking me to get so blissed out on orgasms so much that I release magic.
Honestly, it’s such a big ask on your part.
Truly, I’m such a good friend having repeated orgasms for you all to send you into heat.
I don’t know how you’ll ever repay me.” The sarcasm at the end was next level.
I snorted, “I sense such sarcasm.” Kiara huffed, “Sense? It was on her face and in her tone.” Emmaline laughed, “Because it is serious sarcasm. I love your brother, so this is no hardship on me. We can arrange the babysitters. My dad will be thrilled to have all the kids if your mom want to go into heat too.”
I groaned, “Ew. It’s hard enough asking you for this favor when your mate is my brother. Let’s not talk about my mom going into heat.” Emmaline chuckled, “Fine. Haley can arrange for her kids to go to her parents too.”
I asked, “I wonder what excuse Cassandra will give not to go to the party. Oh god. Dylan will have Haley make sure she can’t come. He always did that though. I thought he only told her once she couldn’t come, but Lucas’s comment makes me think otherwise.”
Emmaline grinned saying, “I’ll find out all about that. Tell me about the time you know about.” I admitted, “Dylan told Cassandra she couldn’t come to Dylanmas because she was the Grinch.” Emmaline cackled, “He did not!”
I nodded, “Yes, he did. I was hiding because I didn’t want to talk to Cassandra myself.
I heard my husband say it with my own ears, but Cassandra never told anyone about it.
I always thought it was weird. I was positive she’d tell Davis, and Dylan would be grounded forever.
I should’ve stuck around to hear more of that conversation. ”
Emmaline agreed, “You absolutely should’ve.” A pup called, “LUNA! BETA FEMALE LACY!” Emmaline popped us downstairs, then on the ground outside the treehouse where we could be seen. The pups handed us invitations and then ran to Farrin.
I laughed, “Farrin, you’re here.” Farrin winked, “I came to get them to you. I was in Black Mountain for a hot second. Now, I’m off to Faerie with these adorable pups. I thought you should have the first invitation I helped deliver.” He popped out with the pups.
I snorted, “That’s brave of him to be in Black Mountain.
” Emmaline smirked at me. I practically cooed, “Dylan’s got Fairies having pups deliver the invitations.
I wonder if Eric got an exploding snowball.
” Emmaline laughed, “I could see Dylan wanting to do that when it gets closer, to remind everyone of the date.” I admitted “I could too actually. My mate will probably do a countdown with invites.”
I looked at the invitations. Kiara purred, “Mate did such a good job.” Dylan had done an outstanding job. He was so talented, and I loved when I got to see him utilize all his talents. Emmaline snorted, “Oh my god. Big Nick Energy R.S.V.P’s? This is hilarious.” I nearly choked on my own spit.
I linked Dylan and couldn't help the grin that overtook my face when he replied. My mate sounded so happy and in his element. Emmaline and I walked back towards the house and saw Davis. My father in law, in name only, looked pissed.
Davis shouted, “LACY!” I asked, “Yes?” Kiara began to growl in my head, and I felt Emmaline stiffen beside me.
Davis growled in reply. I asked, “What’s wrong?
” Davis shouted, “We are cordially UNINVITED from Dylan’s Christmas Party?
! He hasn’t invited us in years. Why would he officially un-invite us now? ”
I stared at Davis for several seconds. Kiara snarled, “They didn’t even notice mate wasn’t hosting the party all these years!” Yeah, they sucked ass. Hostility rolled off me as I retorted, “Because Dylan hasn’t thrown the party in years, Davis.”
Davis scoffed, “Of course he has. Dylan loves to throw his Friends Christmas Party. There’s even a name for it. My son literally loses sleep to plan it. There is no way he’d ever stop throwing that damn party.”
I got in his face, “You are so obtuse it hurts. You’ve been here the last few years, and you didn’t fucking notice there wasn’t a party! Why can’t you ever stop being horrible, selfish, self-centered people?! Literally EVERYONE, including humans, knew the party stopped being thrown.”
People were stopping to stare at us, but I didn’t care. I continued, “Dylan hasn’t thrown Dylanmas in years, but you couldn’t be bothered to notice. You are the biggest dick on the planet. Don’t you fucking dare ruin this for my husband! Do you hear me?”
Davis started at me. I snarled, “I can take you down, Davis, and I will if you so much as attempt to steal Dylan’s joy about this.” Kiara agreed, “We can put him down now if he twitches.” Dad grabbed me from behind saying, “Breathe, Lacy Loo.”
I warned, “My dad being hear won’t save you.
So, don’t even try it Davis! Do you hear me?
!” Dad quickly said, “Nothing will ruin Dylan’s party.
Ok?” I snarked, “Davis still hasn’t answered me.
” Which my wolf found unacceptable. Kiara took over, “I will put you down in your place in front of the whole pack if you try it! SO YOU BETTER ANSWER MY HUMAN!”
Ramendle called, “You won’t have to worry about that, daughter in law of mine.” I turned to look at my mate’s adopted Fairy dad. Ramendle had adopted both Travis and Dylan. Farrin winked at me from beside his dad before he popped back out with the pups.
People started to laugh, but I didn’t know why. I turned back and actually gasped. Davis had a sparkly tattoo on his forehead. Kiara said, “Honestly, they deserve that.” Emmaline snorted. Davis asked, “What now? What did those Fairies do? You already took our sons from us.”
Ramendle angrily retorted, “Travis and Dylan are people, and we didn’t take them. You gave them up, willingly even. As far as what everyone is laughing at, well I didn’t do it. Nor did my son. No, that magic was done by the Fairy Princess herself.”
Davis sighed, “Do you mean Alpha Eric’s Luna? Or one of King Aiden’s daughters?” I’d roll my eyes, but it was a valid question. Ramendle answered, “King Aiden’s sister, the Princess of Faerie who is Consort Conners mate.” Eric beyond hated that title, but Ramendle said it with respect.
