Chapter 12 New Year’s Eve

Chapter twelve

New Year’s Eve

It was time for the big party at Afterglow for New Year’s Eve, and this year was going to be the best ever. This year, I had my own Daddy. I didn’t have to be sad watching everyone else. We could dance, sing, and even go back into No Limits together.

But first, we had to get dressed. I helped Vince pick out some clothes from what I’d bought him for Christmas.

We went with black leather pants. They were genuine cowhide and soft as butter with laces down each side that pulled tight, and boy did Daddy Vince have the thighs and ass for them.

They were lined on the inside, though, and they would get hot.

Worth it for how sexy they looked, and yeah, I wanted to show my man off.

But I didn’t want him to suffer too much, so his top would be a loose, sleeveless tank with alternating net panels, making it look striped.

The material was also black but had silver sparkles in the netting.

I didn’t know how they made it, but it looked sharp and great for the club.

He wore a pair of lace-up boots and would also have his light jacket, because it was a bit chilly out.

My outfit, on the other hand, was a challenge. I had tons of clothes and wanted to pick something that complemented Vince without being matchy. Plus, it was a great opportunity to promote my site. My sponsors would love it.

I pulled out all my choices and tossed them on the bed so I could shoot a panoramic video of the spread. I tagged my sponsors who had something in the pile. And posted.

But what was I actually going to wear?

I called Tucker. It’d been a while since we got together, and he promised to come to the club.

“Joey. Hey. I’m so excited. What are you wearing?”

“That’s why I’m calling you. Check out the post I just made. I can’t decide.”

“Goof. You’ll look good in anything. But hold on and let me look.”

I flipped through some of the options while I waited for him to check it out. “Hurry up, Tuck. I don’t have all night. Also, what are you wearing?”

“Jeans. Those soft ones with the rips on the thighs that hang low on my hips.”

“Good choice.”

“I don’t know what top yet. Haven’t decided. But for you…it’s too cold for booty shorts, scratch them.”

“Only cold outside. It’ll be hot in the club.”

“Eh…you’ll complain.”

I tossed the two pairs I had out back in the closet. “Okay. Next?”

“I don’t know. There’s a lot of black on that bed, but maybe pick something with color. Oh, did you dye your hair again?”

“Yes. Still purple.”

“Then pick something to go with that.”

“I don’t know. I think it’ll clash. And I don’t have purple pants.” I laughed, imagining what purple pants would even look like on me. “Hm…gold goes well with purple and would make my gray eyes look more dramatic. How about this?” I flipped on my camera so he could see what I picked.

“Uh, yeah.” The shirt was kind of slinky and loose but still elegant. “What pants? I mean black, but…”

The shirt would be on the warm side, so I picked the black and gray pair that had snaps running down the outside of each leg. I could strategically open a few to get some airflow. “How’re these?”

“That works. Yeah. Let me see your hair.”

“Okay.” I flipped the phone around and smiled brightly at Tucker, who smiled right back.

“I’m so excited for you, Joey. Really. I’m glad you found Vince. Now maybe rub up against me at the club so I can get some of that daddy-luck off you.”

“Goof. Now what top are you wearing?”

We worked through a bunch of options, eventually picking a long-sleeve black shirt with strategic shredding all over. And with that, we hung up.

All our friends would be there, including Levi and his daddy. And I wondered if my friend from my last job, Ben, would like to come too. I shot him a text. We hadn’t really stayed in touch, but maybe this would get him to come out.

“Joey?” Vince called from downstairs. “Are you dressed yet? Want to eat something first?”

I looked at the time. Yep, plenty of it. “Yes, Daddy! Be right there.” I put away all the clothes I wasn’t wearing and made a quick post of what I’d picked, holding the shirt up to my chest and winking. Then left it on the bed to go get food. I didn’t want to get anything on my outfit.

This was my first big celebration at Afterglow, and I was excited.

Not only did I have a sexy boy to celebrate with, but a lot of people I considered good friends, including Larry, Hudson, and Braxton.

The only one missing was Grant, since he couldn’t be here.

I would have loved to have him with me, though.

I needed a plan to get him to settle near me.

I’d fallen in love with this area before I moved here, and I’d fallen even harder every day since I had.

There was always a ton of stuff to do, or nothing at all if I wanted to simply enjoy my back deck and pool.

But we were running late. “Joey. Come on, boy. Time to go.” It was the third time I’d called him.

Finally, he came down the stairs. He hadn’t wanted me to watch him get ready, and now I knew why.

He made quite an entrance, walking down the stairs.

He was elegant and fun all in one with his purple hair, sparkling gray eyes, done up with the perfect makeup, and sophisticated clothes.

He was sexy as hell, earning him a long wolf whistle.

He smiled and blushed, making the top of his cheeks pink up a bit. “Thanks, Daddy. I’m ready.”

His lips were shiny with gloss, but I leaned in and kissed them anyway. “You taste like cherries.”

“It’s the gloss.” He held up a tube and giggled as he reapplied it. “I better bring it in case you eat it off all night.”

“Good call.” And I kissed him again.

“Silly Daddy.”

“Let’s go.” I ushered him to the car, and we drove his GR86 across town to Afterglow.

We ran into Levi and Hudson in the parking lot. The two littles were hugging and jumping up and down. One of them even squealed but I wasn’t sure which one. “Come on, Joey. My friend Danny is already inside. You have to meet him.” He tugged Joey’s arm, trying to hurry across the parking lot.

“I already know Danny. This is going to be fun.” They skipped to the door, but there was still a line, which the two troublemakers were trying to cut.

Hudson chuckled and grabbed Levi’s arm. “Come on, boys. Let’s get in line.”

None of the others standing in line seemed put out by their behavior. Some of them even thought it was cute. There were plenty of men looking like daddies and boys, but I didn’t know if any were actually littles. They waved at our guys as we made our way to the back of the line.

“I hate waiting.” Levi pouted and crossed his arms.

“Behave, Levi.” Hudson scolded him and wrapped him in his arms at the same time. It was good for me to see these guys together.

“Waiting sucks,” Levi complained again.

“I know, but that’s part of life.”

The line was moving pretty quickly, though, and soon enough, we were in the door. Levi waved and yelled, “Skyler!”

Immediately, I could tell that didn’t make Joey happy, so I put my arm around him. He’d told me a little bit about Skyler and his daddy, Crow, and it was easy to see how uncomfortable he was. But it didn’t bother Skyler. “Hey, guys!” He hugged both Levi and Joey.

Joey’s stormy eyes were wide. “Uh, hey, Sky.”

Skyler smiled at me, but then looked at Joey. “It’s good to see you, Joey. Let’s not let stupid shit keep us from being friends. Okay?”

Joey nodded.

Levi jumped on him, grabbing his arm. “Yay! We’re all friends.”

Joey couldn’t help smiling at Levi’s antics, and neither could the rest of us.

Hudson and I went to the bar to get water, while the littles and Skyler went to the dancefloor. They were joined by some other people, whom I mostly knew by face and not necessarily by name. With several bottles of water in hand, we sat at a table near where our littles were.

Braxton came by to say hello, and then we were joined by Larry, Ward Predmore, Drew King, and his partner Justin Rockwell.

Justin was entirely too refined to go jumping around like a fool with the others.

He wore a collar and leather fetish wear but stuck close beside Drew.

I didn’t know their entire story, but I knew Justin was a tattoo artist and had stolen Drew right off the market, breaking the hearts of submissives throughout the club.

As we chatted about our partners, I noticed everyone was drinking water—no alcohol. I raised an eyebrow at that and nudged Hudson. “Is everyone planning on going to the back?”

“Yep. We all have rooms reserved.” He looked at his watch. “I’ve got about thirty minutes. Maybe the kiddos can play in the Littles Room first?”

Reserved rooms. I did not do that. Didn’t know I needed to. Or did we even want that? What would Joey think?

Hudson shook his head and leaned closer. “Any big event—book a room.” He held his water bottle up.

“Guess we’ll just go home after the big ball drop.”

“Unless ya’ll want to watch?” He wiggled his eyes.

Was that something Joey would want? I shook my head. “I don’t think so.”

“Suit yourself.” He took a long drink of water and than waved his hands, getting Levi’s attention and calling him over. Joey followed him off the floor. “Want to go play for a bit?”

“Yes, please.” Levi bounced on the balls of his feet.

Joey clapped his hands. “Can we go?” He looked at me with his big gray puppy eyes that said he wanted something and wasn’t opposed to begging. Well, didn’t that get my head going with all kinds of kinky shit we could do.

“Lead the way.”

As we headed to the door of No Limits, we were joined by another daddy and little, who I recognized but couldn’t put a name to. We all took the breathalyzer test and handed over our phones.

“Big Jake. This is my daddy, and we’re going to go play in the Littles Room.” Joey smiled widely.
