Chapter Twenty-Nine
“I can’t believe we’re really doing this!” Amber said, a healthy dose of excitement in her voice. “We’re moving to the Evergreens!”
After the harrowing events of yesterday, the resort’s leadership decided they needed a full-time first-responders crew consisting of fire, medical, and security.
Aaron and Beckett were the first two members of that crew.
Sitting in their cottage, Aaron looked around and said, “And this place is now home. For a while. Until we have something bigger built here on the grounds.”
“It’ll do,” Amber told him. With a sly grin, she added, “Except you’ll have to leave when I have guys over. There isn’t much privacy in this place.”
Aaron blushed hard at the thought. Mmm. This was going to be wonderful!
Sitting across from him at the kitchen table, Beckett grinned, too. But he didn’t address what Amber had said, instead pivoting back to the mechanics of their transition. “I’m going to go home, get some stuff ready, and turn in my two-weeks’ notice on Monday.”
“Same,” Aaron told him. “I’ll miss the guys on my crew, but I’m too excited about this opportunity to pass it up. We’ll have to go back and forth for a while, selling the house and closing on it and all that. But that’s no big deal.”
Amber seemed excited as she leaned in. “Two weeks back home will give me time to get everything situated. And…give me time to go on that date with James before I quit the dealership.” Her eyes twinkled. “And have him fuck my brains out.”
Both men nearly fell out of their chairs.
Aaron couldn’t believe this was his life. It was as if all his dreams were coming true.
Well, life was perfect before, he realized. How could it not be with Amber?
But now?
All this extra fun—the resort, Little Space, cuckolding, his new friends—was the cherry on top.
Or the cherries on top.
A whole bunch of sweet, delicious cherries.
The End.
