Chapter 33-Her Crazy Ex
The first thing I noticed as I walked out of the elevator was that Anna wasn't in the office, maybe she was running late. I called this morning and I wasn't getting any response from her. Worry kicked in but I pushed it down, what if something happened to her friend?
She'll be here, maybe she's caught up in traffic, Anna wasn't the type of staff that comes to work late. I walked to my office hoping that she would be here soon.
Thirty minutes later and I still haven't heard from her, normally she would have called but I haven't gotten any call from her either.
Worry set in again, I couldn't go to the hospital because I know people would start wondering who this guy was who was always coming to the hospital, also her mom was in the hospital and I didn't know if Anna already told her about our relationship, I know Anna didn't want that. I just had to be patient and she'll come.
But after two hours of working and there still wasn't any sign of Anna, there was no doubt that something was wrong.
I had to send someone over or else I wouldn't be able to calm down. I picked up my phone and I dialed my driver's number.
" Bruno, please take flowers to Miss Fredrick's friend's room, tell them it from the staff of our company, also, can you tell Miss Fredrick to call me, I need to know my schedule for the day,"
" Alright Sir," He said before the call ended. I tried to go back to work but my mind was restless.
Exactly thirty-eight minutes later, my phone rang and it was a call from Bruno,"
" I did as you said boss, but Miss Anna isn't in the hospital, they said she didn't come there last night and they thought she must have been too tired from work and went home, they expected her to be in the office, they're also unable to reach her," He said.
I tried to calm the negative thoughts rising in my head as I calmed my beating heart.
" I'll send you Miss Fredrick's house address, check if she's home she might be sick, I need some documents from her," I said.
" Okay Sir," He said before I ended the call and then I sent him Anna's address.
I waited patiently for his call forgetting about work, I couldn't work when I was feeling this anxious.
My phone started ringing and I quickly picked it up hoping for good news, I tried to calm myself so my excess worry didn't show.
" Did you find her?"
" No Sir, the door is locked and I don't think there's anyone home," He said and I could hear my heartbeat in my ears.
" Alright thank you, Bruno, that would be all," I said as I ended the call.
Where was she? She wouldn't leave Bella and her Mom worried without telling them where she was, they also didn't know where she was, her phone was ringing but she wasn't picking up.
I decided to try again and it rang three times before she picked.
" Where have you been Anna, I've been worried sick and you wouldn't pick up your calls," I said in relief but my relief was short-lived when I heard the voice that responded.
" That's because she's having a good time with me, you know women cannot easily get over their first, I was her first in every way possible, do you think you stand a chance?" He asked and even without being where he was I knew he had a stupid smirk on his face.
" Where is she?" I asked him my chest boiling in anger.
" Do you have hearing problems or something, she needed someone to talk to and I was just there for her and you know we didn't just do talking, her body needed my attention and I gave her just that,"
" Shut the fuck up, you bastard!" Did he expect me to believe that? Anna wouldn't go back to him, it doesn't make sense, she told me she belonged to me and I believe her. He was talking rubbish.
" Okay, I guess it's time to go back to my woman," He said, and before I could speak, the call ended.
I'm going to murder that guy if he touch my woman I swear.
" Good morning officer, I think my secretary got kidnapped by her crazy ex,"

Last night I was looking for ways to open the door but I was unsuccessful, the windows weren't an option because they were all closed.
Derick was watching me like a hawk, he wanted us to sit and watch a movie like we were a couple, like he didn't look me in the face and tell me how uptight I was and how I wasn't his type of girl anymore, after years of wasting my time with him and then he thinks he could just break up with me and come back and everything would be fine, the guy has some serious issues going up in his head.
I had to be at the office and aside from that I knew Mom would be worried wondering why I didn't come to the hospital or even call, I would never do that. They must have called me several times.
" Derick please let me go," I said as I wanted to walk to the door but he blocked me.
" You're not going anywhere," He said looking down at me like he would soon tie me up so I don't leave.
" I have work, Bella's in the hospital, and I have to go to them, what has gotten into you?"
" Bella's in the hospital? What's wrong with her?" He asked his voice suddenly becoming soft.
" She had an accident, please let me go," I said but he suddenly started laughing. I was confused, did I say something funny?
" She got into an accident, that bitch had it coming for her, she was always against our relationship, I don't care what happens to her, but you're not leaving here," I couldn't believe he would say something like that.
" Okay, let me just call them and tell them I'm fine, what about work I don't want to lose my job," I said.
" No need for that,..." He said with a smirk and I raised my brows in confusion.
" I already told your boss you're having a good time with me and he didn't mind,"
" You did what?!"
