Chapter 88- Rollercoaster and Fireworks
" Are you insane Cole?! You're going to abandon your family and everything you've known just because of some woman?!" My father asked in anger and I scoffed as I turned to him.
" She's not some woman, she's my happiness and I'm going to leave everything just for my happiness because that's the only thing that matters to me," I said,
" This is ridiculous Cole, can you listen to yourself?! How does that sound to you?" He asked,
"It sounds like the perfect plan, anything that gives me happiness doesn't sound ridiculous to me," I said,
" You'll regret this Cole, if you don't stop all this nonsense, it's a promise," he said,
" Well, till then," I said and without sparing him another glance I walked away.
The moment I was outside the house I was slapped with the cold night air and I couldn't help but close my eyes. I knew that things wouldn't been easy but I didn't expect my dad to take it this far.
I walked to the car where Anna and my Mom were waiting. Anna was leaning on the car and my mom was saying something to her.
" Hey," I said to them as soon as I reached the car and they both turned to me.
My Mom didn't say anything, she just hugged me and I instantly felt like the weight on my shoulders got reduced a little.
" Everything will be alright, take Anna home, I'll talk to your Dad," she said and I nodded before kissing her on the cheeks. She hugged Anna whispering something into her ear before she bid us good night and walked into the house.
" Hey baby," I said as I opened the car door and she quietly got in. I turned around to the driver's side as I opened the car and got in.
I couldn't help but sigh as I turned to my girlfriend who had a sad look on her face... " I'm sorry my love, I know I told you everything would be alright but...I don't even know what to say babe, everything is just fucked up,"
" Let's just get out of here," she said as she looked out the window.
I knew she was upset so I just started the car and drove out of my family house.
I didn't want to end the night on a bad note so I just drove us to my penthouse instead. I stopped in front of the tall building as I opened the car door and stepped out then I walked to Anna's door and opened it.
The moment she stepped out of the car she burst into tears.
" Hey, hey, fuck, my love please don't cry," I said as I drew her to me and hugged her.
" I'm sorry, I know you're upset about the dinner but please don't cry, I don't like to see you cry," I said as I ran my fingers through her hair.
" I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to cause trouble in your family," she sobbed as she held onto my shirt for dear life.
" Do you want to do something fun?" I asked her as she looked up at me with tear stained eyes and my heart hurt seeing her like this.
" What?" She asked me with a pout.
" Anything you want," I said,
" I don't have anything in mind, you could suggest something," she said as she wrapped her hands around me tightly.
" Let's go to the amusement park," I said,
" It's late, it would be closed by now," she said and I scoffed,
" Do you know who I am?" I said and she threw her head back and laughed and I couldn't help but smile.
" Showoff," she mumbled as she pulled away from me and then I opened the car door for her and she got in. I got into the car and drove to the amusement park.
I parked the car and we both stepped out as I held Anna's hand and we walked into the amusement park.
" I'm a partner here so I have the right to be here any time I want to, perks of being rich," I said but my mind couldn't help but go back to my dad's threat. I wanted to be able to give her everything, I wanted to treat her like a queen, I wanted to give her a comfortable life and I'll do that with or without my father's support.
" What are you thinking?" I was brought out of my thoughts by Anna's sweet voice.
" You," I said as I held her waist and drew her close.
" I'm here, why do you need to think about me?" She asked with a smile and it was like the wind was a paid actor, it blew her hair back making her look like a goddess.
" You're so beautiful, my woman," I said as my hand went behind her head and then I pulled her to me as my head came down, claiming her soft and ready lips.
I kissed her as our tongues moved in a slow dance, her hands went around my neck drawing me closer and I couldn't help but smile, she couldn't get enough of me just like I couldn't get enough of her.
Fireworks suddenly started shooting in the sky and she pulled away from the kiss in shock.
" When...how...how did you plan all this?" she asked as she looked at me with twinkling eyes.
" I have my ways," I said with a cheeky smile.
" Thanks baby this is beautiful," she said as she looked up at the fireworks and the different colors that were shooting in the sky.
" Wanna ride the roller coaster?"
" Yes, yes, yes," she said in excitement and I laughed as I held her hand and we both ran to the roller coaster.
We got seated in the roller coaster and the excitement in her eyes made me feel like I was the luckiest man in the world.
When the roller coaster started moving she was screaming at the top of her lungs and laughing at the same time and it was contagious as I found myself laughing too.
By the time the roller coaster stopped and we came down she was laughing and shaking like a drunk person and I had to hold her.
" The world is spinning," she said as her hands wrapped around me.
" My world is right in front of me," I said as I looked down at her. I felt an electric shock go through my body in a good way, it was like I wanted to take her away from everyone and keep her to myself alone.
" Don't leave me Cole, please don't leave me," she said and I felt my heart clench. Thanks to my Dad, all this is happening because of him.
" I won't, nothing is ever going to separate us, I'm yours forever just like you're mine forever," I said as I dropped a kiss on her lips.
" Promise baby?"
