Epilogue

I stare at the grown man before me, then at my husbands, all three of them standing behind the stranger.

“What’s going on?” I ask tentatively, since I never quite know with my husbands. Every day is a new adventure with them, new ways to orgasm, new ways to scream their names, but I’d have it no other way. Also I’m a bona-fide lady of the ranch now. I love it. And so does Sweetpea. This is where I was meant to be. With them, wherever they were.

“This is Adam Fletcher. He’s here to apologize to you for being a dick. Aren’t you, Fletcher?” Colter says.

My mouth couldn't gape open more if I tried. Even Sweetpea is in a tizzy and keeps barking at the man, and normally her manners are impeccable. But she’s feeding off the energy coming off my husbands, whom she adores, as much as she does me. Maybe more, I think, sometimes.

“What are you doing?” I whisper at my husbands, who are way too smug for words right now.

“He wants to apologize to you, sweetheart. Let the man do what he came here to do,” Nolan says.

Oh, my god. My grown-ass husbands tracked down my bully from when I was twelve, and he is now himself a grown man and the son of a very popular senator, who might be running for president.

“Do you know who he is?” I’m still whispering frantically.

“Yeah. He’s a dick,” Jace answers. “Go ahead, Fletchy. Apologize to our wife, and we’ll call it even. For now.” Oh dear. They’ve given him a nickname.

I don’t even hear the man’s apology. It doesn’t help that I apologize to him as well for my husbands clearly roughing him up a bit.

As soon as they’re satisfied, but not before issuing another warning to Adam Fletcher, they send him on his way.

I just shake my head at them before I burst out laughing. They grab me in their arms, and I’m naked before I can say naked.

“No one messes with what is ours and gets away with it,” Colter growls in my ear before I come apart in their arms again.

My happiness knows no bounds, but I’m worried about my friends. Clem has to do something, or else her parents are going to force her to marry. And Haley has no idea who she has to marry in order to save her family.

I just want them to be as happy as I am.
