Chapter 18

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

NOAH

Three Weeks Later

The house is perfect and I’m relieved we have finally moved in. The advantage of having my late father’s contacts and being associated with the Blackrose Saints is that shit gets done quicker.

We now have a gated entrance, with security cameras at every angle, reinforced doors and bulletproof windows. I stand in the main living area while the security contractor walks me through the system. Chase is upstairs, exploring the bedrooms and office spaces.

"Biometric locks on all exterior doors," the contractor says, showing me the control panel.

"Facial recognition cameras with real-time alerts to your phone.

Motion sensors in the backyard and all entry points.

The panic room is here…" he says as he gestures to what looks like a closet door.

"Reinforced steel, independent ventilation, satellite phone inside. "

"Good."

"We can have everything operational by tomorrow morning."

"Do it."

He leaves as I walk through the space slowly, filing away every detail. Everything from the high ceilings to the hardwood floors. Multiple exits and clear sightlines from the main rooms to all entry points.

All secure. Mine.

Chase appears at the top of the stairs. "Noah, you need to see the master suite."

I climb the stairs where the master bedroom takes up half the third floor with massive windows overlooking the private courtyard, a walk-in closet the size of most people's bedrooms, a bathroom with both a shower and a separate soaking tub.

"It's like a dream come true," Chase says quietly, as I move behind him, wrapping my arm around his waist.

"This is ours, really ours. Not a hotel, or moving from place to place anymore," he says like he can’t quite believe we live here.

"It’s all ours, baby."

He turns in my arms, looking up at me. "I want to christen it."

"Now?"

"Now."

I push him toward the bed that Chase spent days trying to choose, and he goes willingly, already tearing at his clothes where he reveals an ass plug. No wonder he is worked up, the horny little fucker planned this well, and who am I to say no.

I strip fast and join him on the bed. The afternoon light streams through the windows as I push inside him, claiming him in this new space.

"Ours," I tell him as I fuck him.

"Ours, forever with my shadow,” he grunts, and that name pushes me over the edge.

I increase the pace, drilling him harder. "This is where we exist together baby, you’ll never leave here, it’s your open prison,” I say, growling into his ear as he clenches hard around me.

He comes with a broken cry, and I follow moments later, filling his ass with my claim over him in the home we now have together.

Our very own fortress.

Three hours later, I'm in the study reviewing security footage layouts when the doorbell rings. I check the camera feed and my jaw clenches when I see Tyler, Aaron, Kai and Seb standing at the gate.

Uninvited.

Unannounced.

Unacceptable.

I don't move immediately, I just watch them on the screen, noting their casual postures, their assumption that they can simply arrive at my home.

Chase appears in the doorway. "Who is it?"

"The whole gang of husbands and partners from the Kozlov gossip group."

His expression morphs into confusion and annoyance. "We didn't invite them, I told Ty that I would arrange for him to come over when it was fully furnished next week."

The doorbell rings again and I stand, moving to the intercom. "Yes?"

"Noah!" Aaron’s voice is jovial, oblivious as always. "We brought some gifts. Thought we'd check out the new place."

I don't respond immediately and just let the silence stretch as my fist cannot reach them through an intercom.

"Noah?" Seb says, sounds uncertain, like he knows this was a mistake. I see Tyler flinch away, and it occurs to me this wasn’t his idea. I bet it was that nosy fucker, Aaron.

I press the button. "This isn't a good time."

"Come on, Noah, just for an hour. We want to see the new place," Aaron says, and Seb behind him looks uncomfortable.

“Do Dima and Lev know you are here?” I ask, and Aaron smiles, but not in a friendly way. Seb just rolls his eyes.

“Like we need their permission,” Aaron says. I then hear Seb talking to him. “You’re a little liar, Aaron. You said that Noah was cool with us visiting.”

“Yes, because you know he would never invite us.”

“This is embarrassing,” Kai says, turning his back to walk away.

“Not as embarrassing as those hickies, Uncle fucker,” Aaron goads, as he turns to go after him.

“He’s not my Uncle!” Kai shouts before storming off.

“Tyler can come in, the rest of you can leave until I’m not here,” I say, and Seb gasps, before laughing out loud.

“What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Why can’t we all come in?” Seb asks.

“Tyler is blood and Chase’s brother, I have no choice but to accept him.”

“Thanks Noah, I feel so loved,” Tyler says beside him, and Chase kisses the back of my neck.

“Guys, I’ll arrange something soon, I promise. Noah is not up to visitors right now,” Chase says into the speaker.

“They need to understand boundaries, this isn’t a place for social events.”

“I know, Noah. I’ll handle it.”

This is where I know I’m gonna regret moving here, these fuckers don’t know when to stop. I’m not becoming a part of that little group of gossips. I’d rather cut my ears off.
