Chapter 26 #2

Working her bottom lip, she unfastened every button. “And then I very much want to take you in my mouth.”

She wouldn’t have to wait long. At this point, it wasn’t even her touch that made him hard, it was her words. Molten lust fired through him, and Caelian’s eyes widened as his cock lengthened and swelled, tripling in size.

“But…” She glanced up at him, her mouth falling open. His cock twitched at the sight. “But I haven’t even touched you yet.”

Kjeld snared her chin, tilting her beautiful face up to him. “Sometimes, Starweaver, your words are far more powerful than your touch.”

Her cheeks colored, a soft blush this time, and when she licked her lips, he stifled a groan.

“You know you don’t have to do this.” He grabbed the arms of the chair, clenching his fists around them until he thought the wood would snap.

“I know. But your tongue is a thing of wicked magic, and I would like to hope mine is as well.” Then she licked his cock, from the base to the tip, and his eyes rolled to the beams above them.

“Do you like that?” Her voice was soft and sweet, laced with innocent curiosity.

“Yes.” He scraped the word out in a coarse whisper.

She hummed a little. “What about this?”

Then her mouth was on him. Her lips curved over his head, her wet tongue swirled his tip, and it took every last shred of his own willpower not to grab her head and shove his cock down her throat.

“Very.” He blew out a breath as she sucked. “Nice.”

Caelian braced herself by grabbing his hips, her fingers pressing into his taut skin each time she attempted to take him a little deeper.

He was no fool and knew there was no possible way she could fit every inch of him in her mouth, but she was valiant for trying.

Her head bobbed as she licked and sucked, swirling her tongue and scraping her teeth. She wasn’t taking him nearly as far as she was capable of doing, but he was in no position to complain. In fact, he rather liked being at her mercy.

Her nails bit into his skin.

“Relax your jaw,” he instructed gently, running a thread of her icy pink hair between his fingers. “And hollow your cheeks.”

She obeyed, and when his tip touched the back of her throat, he almost came.

Struggling not to thrust his hips, he carefully kept one hand on the back of her head, taking all she was willing to offer.

He squeezed his eyes shut, imagining her tight cunt.

Images filled his mind—all the ways he wanted to take her.

Bent over this desk. Up against the wall of books.

Her bare breasts crushed against the window as he rammed into her from behind.

Kjeld groaned and his eyes flew open.

Her mouth was hot and she sucked him hard, her hammering pulse causing his blood to pump and his balls to tighten.

Shit.

“Cae…” He tried to pry her off him. There was no way she’d be able to swallow his spend. He knew how much he released when he fucked his own hand, and it was more than when he was human.

“Caelian. You can’t—”

She latched onto him, fusing her mouth to his shaft. Her moans echoed in his ears, reverberated around his cock. The scent of her arousal filled him. Owned him. His hips bucked and he couldn’t hold back. On a spasmed jerk, he emptied himself, while Caelian gulped and swallowed every damn drop.

“Gods of Valorahan,” he groaned, dragging her off him. “I don’t think I’m going to survive being your husband.”

She smirked, wiping the back of her hand across her mouth. “Pity.”

“Tell me about these letters you found.” Kjeld adjusted himself and buttoned his pants. “I find myself in great need of a distraction.”

Her brows lifted. “Distraction?”

“Yes, otherwise I will be forced to bend you over this desk and fill you with my seed again.” He hauled her into his lap, ensuring she felt the fullness of his already stiffening erection as it pressed into her bottom.

“Oh!” She wiggled once to tease him, then reached into the top drawer of the desk and pulled out a bundle of faded letters. “I’m not sure what they say. The writing looks Druidic, in fact, they look similar to the ones I found in my mother’s desk.”

Kjeld fanned through the stack of envelopes. “You’re certain?”

“Yes. They’re the same markings and everything.”

“Did you bring your mother’s letters with you?”

“I did. They’re in our room, along with some other items I found interesting.” She tapped the bundle in his hands with one finger. “I thought we could talk to Morwyn about them, maybe see if they hold any meaning.”

“I think that sounds like a brilliant idea.” He stood, bringing her with him. “I thought we might check on the dragon eggs and then head to the Caelora Bay at dusk, if you’d like?”

“Why the bay?” Caelian asked, tucking the letters back into the safety of the desk drawer.

“Because I have reason to believe it is your namesake.”

Her dark lashes fluttered and her eyes, the deepest hue of blue, filled with a sheen of unshed tears. “Do you really think so?”

Kjeld offered his arm, smiling down at her, willing to do anything for her so long as she looked at him like that for the rest of his life. “There’s only one way to find out.”
