NINE
It has been four days since the incident, I was still at my house, I haven't left in four days, my wolf was dying to go for a run but I just didn't feel like it.
I have laid in bed for four days besides taking a shower and getting some food out of the kitchen when I was hungry, but other then that I didn't move from my bed.
I have kept my mind link blocked for the past four days.
My wounds were fully healed, not a mark left.
Bang bang bang bang bang
I quickly jolted out of bed at the sound of someone banging on the front door.
My heart started beating fast and my mind started racing at the fact that it may be Alpha Tyson.
I slowly took my time walking down to the front door, my heart beating a million time a second.
I took a deep breath looking out of the peep hole of the door and saw Ari standing outside. I opened it slowly with a small smile.
She flung into my arms, taking me back, "OH MY GOD OLIVIA, I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU" she yelled, sniffling.
She pulled back slowly looking at me, tears in her eyes, "I'm okay, Ari" I said softly.
"My brother told me what happened. I am so sorry. I let him have it after he told me right after it happened," she said softly, "I'm sorry I didn't come over right away, I figured you would need your space."
"It's okay. I messed up, it was my fault, I shouldn't have went in his room and touched his personal things" I said back.
"Olivia, this was not your fault! It was just a picture frame, he shouldn't have got so mad or put his hands one you," she stated, anger clear behind her voice.
"It's okay, really. Thank you for coming to check on me" I age her a small smile, letting her know I was okay, "is he home? I really need to go get my phone and my things."
She shook her head, "no he isn't home, he has hardly been home at all, since he did what he did. He is beating himself up about it bad."
A part of me felt sad that he was beating himself up about it and I don't know why but I couldn't help but feel that way. We were both in the wrong but I broke something that meant so much to him and that made me feel terrible.
"Come one, I'll take you to get your stuff" she gave me a weak smile.
"Wait. I could you take me to the store really quick?" I murmured.
She gave me a confused look but nodded and gave me a smile.
I went quickly to my room grabbing some of my emergency cash from my sock drawer, I ran back down stairs to meet Ari back by the door.
I grabbed the key off the small key hook by the door and locked the door behind us before placing it back under the mat before we headed to her car before getting in and driving off.
Once we pulled up to the store I quickly ran in.
I ran over to the home section, looking around until I found some picture frames, I grabbed the nicest one I could find and hunted down a small gift bag before going to check out.
I know Ari is gonna call me insane but I honestly just felt so bad, that must have meant so much to him, that was all he had left to remember his mate.
They lady rung me up and I made my way back to Ari's car, getting in.
She looked down and her eyes widened, "Olivia, you don't not need to do that! Why are you being so nice after what he did?" She asked in a stern voice. I knew that was coming.
I sighed, "because Ari, we were both in the wrong but that picture meant a lot to him, he wouldn't have got so mad if it didn't, I can see why he got so angry."
Her face softened as she glanced at me not wanting to take her eyes off the road for to long.
"I guess you are right, I just hate how he handled it. He shouldn't have too it so far" she sighed.
"It's okay, Ari. I'm okay. I understand why he did what he did. I think I would have reacted the same way if that's all I had to remember my mate by" I said softly.
She nodded giving me a smile. Finally pulling up to the pack house, I took a deep breath. I stuck the frame into the gift bag before heading into the pack house.
"I'll wait down here for you" she said softly closing the front door.
I nodded and headed up the stairs and to his office.
Ari said he wasn't home so I headed into the office.
He wasn't here, as much as I felt bad I wasn't sure if I was ready to see him.
I took a sigh of relief, I walked over and laid the bag on his desk.
I turned around and Alpha Tyson was standing behind me, I gripped my chest almost jumping out of my skin.
I looked at him and Ari wasn't kidding about him beating himself up about about it, he looked like crap, bags were visible under his eyes, he really did look like shit.
"Olivia" he said sadness in his eyes, "I'm so sorry, Olivia, I shouldn't have done what I did to you. It was inexcusable" he said softly, almost in a whisper tone.
I turned grabbing the gift bag holding the frame in it but I stayed quiet, not even thinking twice.
I turned back to face him, his soft eyes looking at me, I looked down and handed him the gift bag.
He gave me a confused look taking the bag slowly, I looked down, rubbing my upper arm with my hand standing their in silence.
I heard him open the bag and pulling out the frame.
"O-Olivia..." I snapped my eyes up to him as he looked at the picture frame, "I don't deserve this..." He said quietly, placing the picture frame easily back down into the bag.
Before I knew it I was moving my hand up towards his face to wipe a stray tear as it rolled down his cheek, I don't know why but it was like my body took control, it's like I was drawn in to do it.
As I reached up he grabbed my wrist softly and I looked at him closely, searching his eyes.
He dropped his hand from my wrist, moving in closer.
I placed my hand on his face slowly and softly wiping the stray tear with the pad of my thumb.
He closed his eyes, leaning in to my touch.
"I-I'm sorry" I whispered, my hand still on his cheek.
Slowly I took my hand away, his eyes fluttering open, his blue eyes softened and looked at me closely. We stood in silence for a second before I started to make my way to the office entrance to leave. I felt his had grab my wrist lightly, stopping me in my tracks, I turned to look at him.
"Stay here, you don't need to leave, you don't need to go back to your home," he said softly.
My heart tugged inside of me, I felt the need to stay when he said that. I gave him a soft nod before exiting the office.
