Chapter 41 Sebastian
Chapter forty-one
Sebastian
This is the best day of my life.
Daddy made it so special. I feel completely spoiled.
We had so much fun playing in the playground. I still can't believe a place like this exists. And I'm not sure Daddy even realizes what he's done.
He proposed here.
Well, proposed for the second time.
That alone makes this place priceless and the biggest reason I will buy it from Ethan. I don't care how much he'll want for it. I have enough money for several lives. And if he refuses, he'll meet the side of me he's tried very hard never to see since my father introduced us.
I do see Ethan as a friend, so it would be unfortunate if I had to threaten him… but oh well.
Now I'm tucked in Daddy's bed after he gave me his cock that I begged for. As much as I love our sexy times, I love the after just as much. The way he holds me gently, watching me with intensity that makes me shiver.
"What does your dream wedding look like, boy?"
I furrow my brows because I've never thought about this.
All I've ever wanted was him.
"I don't know," I admit.
"Do you want something big and extravagant or small and intimate?"
"Marrying you is my dream wedding. Everything else is just an insignificant addition. What about you?"
The second the question leaves my mouth, I flinch.
"What was that about?" Daddy asks.
"Nothing."
"Boy."
I sigh. "I just… I thought you already had your dream wedding, so it was a stupid question."
In a blink, Daddy flips me onto my back and covers me with his body, holding me captive beneath his thunderous gaze.
"I had one wedding, yes," he growls. "But it wasn't my dream one. It was Aziel's. And my first wedding doesn't mean shit to me. My last means everything."
He's pissed. But beneath the anger is pure love, certainty, and devotion.
"I believe you, Daddy."
"Do you?"
"I do."
He kisses me, and the world disappears. When he finally settles behind me and spoons me, he murmurs, "Will you be okay with me planning the wedding?"
"I would love that, Daddy!"
Even though I can't see his smile, I feel it against my skin.
"Keep the eleventh free then."
"Eleventh? This Sunday!?" I screech.
"Did you really think I'd wait long to make you officially my husband? If I could, I'd marry you tomorrow. But I want to give you the wedding you deserve."
"All I want is you," I whisper, overwhelmed.
This man… he's everything I ever dreamed of and more.
"And all I want is you too," he says softly, "but I want to give you the world as well."
"You're my world."
And he'll always be.
I can't wait for our wedding day.
I can't wait to have his name and claim him in one more way as mine.
***
The day has arrived, and I'm uncharacteristically nervous.
I wish Fluffy were here with me, but he had a panic attack when I invited him. I refuse to force my best friend to attend something that would hurt him, especially not on my wedding day. He was sad, but I assured him it's okay, that we'll celebrate at his place after we get back from our honeymoon.
When Daddy told me we'd be getting married in the Little mansion I bought from Ethan, I jumped for what felt like hours. I still haven't seen the back, where the ceremony will be, but I'm certain Daddy has outdone himself.
He even surprised me yesterday with a pre-wedding gift.
He bought us a house.
Our first home together.
I can't wait to decorate it and start building our life. The Little mansion will be our getaway place, but we can't live here full-time because it's too far from work.
I'm lost in dreamy thoughts when my father steps into the tent where I've been getting ready.
"Are you ready, son?"
I grin at him. The smile he's wearing is not one I see often. I can recall two times in my life when I've seen him smile like this – once when I completed my first kill, and now.
Considering I stabbed him in the arm yesterday, he looks surprisingly well. What can I say? I told him he'd be getting stabbed for the bullshit he pulled. I keep my promises.
"I am, Dad."
"Then, let's go."
I wrap my hand around his arm as we step out into the backyard… and I gasp.
Daddy has created magic.
A red carpet leads to an arch decorated with flowers and tiny toys – bears, kittens, bunnies, and more.
Fairy lights twinkle everywhere, turning the space into a living dream.
There are four chairs, which confuses me for a second.
Our guests are only Malakai, Ryker, Ethan, and Dad.
I invited my uncle and Dad's best friend as well, but they were caught up in a difficult kill.
My Daddy's best friend, Nico, is a policeman. It broke my heart when Daddy chose to distance himself from him because of me. He never said it, but I knew he didn't want police anywhere near my life.
Dad will be officiating, so he doesn't need a chair, which leaves one extra. But then I see it…
Mr. BoBunny is seated proudly in one of the chairs, wearing a tiny costume.
My eyes water instantly, but I hold it together so I don't ruin my makeup.
I'm wearing a light pink wedding dress with a black corset. Daddy's expression tells me I made the perfect choice.
And Daddy? Oh, Daddy is breathtaking.
He's wearing a blue suit, and his tie has a tiny pink bunny on it. My heart squeezes painfully.
I don't even register what my father says to Daddy. I can't take my eyes off my precious man. It's like time slowed down just for us and this precious moment.
Daddy's eyes shine as he smiles at me like I'm his entire world.
And that's when I know my dream came true.
This is forever.
We can't tear our eyes from each other as we say our vows and our I do. The kiss that follows is one of the gentlest we've ever shared. It's the sealing of our vows, our love, and the start of our new beginning.
"Sebastian Hale, you're my everything," Daddy says, eyes misty and full of devotion.
I shiver hearing my new name, his name, on his lips. It feels right. It feels like destiny is finally catching up to us.
"Ezrah Hale," I whisper back, "you'll always be my everything."
We kiss again. This time, the kiss is heated, hungry, and full of promises for later.
I'll forever be grateful I decided he was mine.
From the past, to this moment, and to my last breath, it'll forever be: Always all for Daddy.
