Chapter 21 The Matchmaking Mommas Chat Group

The Matchmaking Mommas Chat Group

Rosie

Organic did NOT work for us.

Bret

We should have convinced your brother to accidentally marry them.

Rosie

Right? Then they’d be safe and probably making out right now, instead of all traumatized and in the hospital.

Bret

They did bond, though.

Rosie

Life-threatening experiences will do that.

Bret

Wait. That gives me an idea.

Rosie

Me too.

But I need to know if you’re on board with doing whatever it takes to get them together. Gage?

Gage

You guys were right. Your ideas were wild and invasive, but they would have kept them safe.

I should have listened to you two from the beginning.

Bret

Dang straight you should have.

Now the real fun can begin.

Rosie

The wedding is in two days, so we’re short on time.

Gage

What can I do to help?

Bret

I need to gather supplies: Some foliage, a map of Winterhaven, a white flag, and a long, smooth stick.

Gage

I have concerns, but I’m keeping them to myself.

Bret

I’m proud of you, man. That’s growth.

Rosie, you’ve got the rehearsal tomorrow morning.

Rosie

I do, and then it’s the bachelor and bachelorette parties.

But there’s always time for the mommas to scheme.

Gage

I thought we weren’t the mommas.

Rosie

I’ve changed my mind. It has a nice ring to it.

Bret

It really does.

Gage

Okay. Mommas it is. What do you need help with, Rosie?

Rosie

Have either of you ever written a love letter before?
