Blurb

Some vacations come with a happy ever after.

I’d been banking my vacation days for years. I didn’t have any big plans for them, but why use them if I didn’t need to? At least, that was the plan before my company was bought out by our competitor and we were told any unused vacation days would be lost when the fiscal year ended. No way I was going to give those bad boys up, leaving me with my entire summer off and nothing to do with it.

When my cousin called and asked if I wanted to pose as a guest for his new “resort” in the White Mountains, how could I refuse? My bear missed being surrounded by nature, and how hard was it to look like a happy tourist. He forgot to mention that part of the job requirement was attending every single activity he ran, even if I was the only one. S’mores by the fire pit and bingo in the lobby were great, the first dozen times, but three weeks into my vacation, I need a vacation.

That is until a fox checks in, one my bear calls mate. Only problem is, the fox doesn’t seem to recognize me at all, which means I have one week to woo him before he goes back to his everyday life and I’m stuck here eating yet another s’more.
