Chapter Seven #3

Carter braced himself on his elbows as he moved his lower half between Aaron’s spread thighs. He ran his cockhead against Aaron’s hole, testing his readiness, then thrust hard.

He slid deep as Aaron’s body clamped around his shaft.

Carter had to wait until Aaron started to relax to pull back. He didn’t waste any more time to plunge back inside. The need to claim, to own, to have Aaron ride him as he plundered Aaron’s hole while Aaron clung to him.

It was too good. Felt too right for Carter to be able to last long. He’d make it up to his partner. Would make sure that Aaron had all the fucking that he could ever want. Now that Carter had Aaron in his bed, the other man would not be leaving it again.

Had Carter thought two weeks was too short of a time to commit to mating with Aaron? What an absolute joke. Aaron was everything to Carter. Perfect. His Angel.

Carter hammered at Aaron’s prostate, bringing his partner along with him for the wild ride.

“Carter!” Aaron yelled, digging his nails into Carter’s back as he came, covering them both with his seed.

“Angel,” Carter said as he found his own climax. He lowered himself carefully down onto his elbows once again to reach Aaron’s mouth. “Okay?”

With his eyes closed, Aaron smiled. “Can we do that again?”

Carter rotated his hips. “As many times as you want,” he vowed.

Aaron

If he was going to be constantly dragging his mate into his dreams, they were going to have to remember to wear clothes when they fell asleep.

“At least there’s a blanket,” Aaron offered.

Carter chuckled, lifting Aaron from the grass and onto his lap before wrapping the blanket around the two of them. “I should have expected this with how hard you fell asleep.”

Aaron yawned. “Someone wore me out.”

“How mean of them.” Carter kissed Aaron’s neck, making him shiver.

Aaron turned his head to see that Carter was smiling softly at him. “It was the best night of my life.”

“Mine too.”

“This is a beautiful view,” Carter commented. “Where are we?”

Aaron peered around. “I actually have no idea.”

“Isn’t that weird?” Carter questioned. “We’re usually walking in the state park or the forest by the house.”

“That’s true.” This was weird. Aaron hoped this didn’t mean they’d be sent on another wild goose chase.

“Any dream slash vision?”

“God I hope not,” Aaron said enthusiastically.

“I knew one day you would come.”

They both jumped as a young woman walked into view. They were sitting in the middle of a beautiful clearing surrounded by their flowers. Aaron knew it was no where they’d been before and they should have seen the woman approaching them.

Carter wrapped the blanket tighter around them. “Excuse us, ma’am. We didn’t know that anyone was here.”

She smiled kindly. “I surprised you. I’m sorry. I’ve just waited a very long time for this moment.”

Leaning forward, Aaron peered at the woman. There was something familiar about her. So familiar that his heart ached.

She knelt in front of them. “Hello, Aaron.”

“Hi,” he said shyly. Sitting on his boyfriend’s lap with only a blanket to cover them was kind of weird. Aaron didn’t know why it seemed like this woman was important. Important to him. But she was. She…

“You don’t remember me,” she said sadly. “That’s okay. I understand. You were so very young when…when we were taken from you.”

“Mo…mom?” Aaron said the word before he could even think about what was happening.

“Hello, baby.” She smiled so sweetly at him.

Aaron swallowed hard. His close wanted to close up. Tears welled in his eyes. This feeling inside him had long ago been something that he pushed down. “Mom? Is that really you?”

“It is.” Her fingers were entwined so tightly they were almost white.

“What? How? Why?” Aaron fumbled for the right words.

“Because you’ve finally found your way,” his mom said. “This must be your mate.”

Aaron turned to look at Carter. They weren’t technically mates. Not yet. “Not…”

“I am,” Carter said. “Carter Moore.”

“MaryAnn. Aaron’s mom,” she responded.

“How is this possible?” Aaron asked.

“What do you mean, dear?” MaryAnn questioned.

“This is a dream. My dreams are always messed up. They don’t make sense. First I start dragging Carter into them and now you? How? Why?”

“Oh, honey.” MaryAnn moved closer. “This is your power. This is how oracles learn. I thought you’d rejected your gift and that was why you never came.”

Aaron shook his head, still not understanding. “I never rejected anything! I didn’t know what to do!”

“But the others.” MaryAnn had her hand pressed to her chest.

“What others?” Aaron asked. “There’s no one else but me. No one could or would help me.”

“Oh, baby! I’m so sorry!” MaryAnn was hugging him.

Aaron was being hugged by his mom. It felt so real.

This might be a dream, but her thin arms had strength to them as she held Aaron tight.

Tears fell. For the first time in his life Aaron allowed himself to mourn the woman in front of him.

The mother that he didn’t remember. The person who should have been there to help him come into his powers.

“It’s okay, angel. We’ll figure it out. Everything will be okay.” Carter held him as Aaron clung to his mom.

“It’s good that you have a strong mate,” his mother said. “You’re going to need him.”

Aaron pulled back. “What do you mean?”

“You have a fight ahead of you.” She gripped his hands in hers. “You and your friends are going to do amazing things. As long as you’re ready to fight for them.”

“I…” Aaron cleared his throat. “You’re scaring me.”

“You don’t have to be scared. Trust in your mate. In your friends. Your family.”

“I don’t know what to do!” Aaron confessed.

“That’s what I’m here for baby. I’m going to help you become the oracle you were meant to be.”

Aaron couldn’t do this. He wasn’t good enough. “I can’t!”

His mom cupped his face. “Yes, you can.”

“You can,” Carter said as well. “We can.”

Aaron bit his lip as he slowly nodded. “What do I need to do?”

“Believe in yourself,” his mom said. Come to me in your dreams and I will help you.

“I don’t know if I can,” Aaron’s tears fell. “I don’t know if I can believe.”

“Then I’ll believe in you until you can,” Carter whispered. “We’re in this together angel.”

Aaron nodded. Together. The question was- what was going to happen next?
